Every wedding dress is special in its own way, but Oscar de la Renta might take the cake when it comes to truly extraordinary gowns. Need proof? Thanks to Vogue, we learned about the elaborate process behind one of the brand's dresses from the new S/S 17 bridal collection.
Just how intricate is the process? It took three hand-embroiderers 132 hours to produce the strapless gown pictured below. Plus, Vogue reports that the dress boasts 1650 Swarovski crystals and sequins, which were individually stitched on by hand, and the train comes complete with a whopping 80 yards of tulle.
