Since we let celebrities inspire what we wear everywhere from a wedding to a night out, today we thought we’d take a look at how some of our favorite stars dress for their day jobs. Between a lawyer, businesswoman, fashion designer (and more), they’ve really got all the bases covered.
Scroll through to see (and shop) five work looks we love!
The gig: While the world recently came to know her as George Clooney’s bride, Amal has been a practicing (and highly successful) lawyer and activist for years. This past spring, she also taught a semester at Columbia Law School.
The outfit: For work trips and meetings, Clooney tends to keep it professional and conservative, opting for close-toed pumps, a shift dress, and a work-appropriate tote.
The outfit: As seen on her Instagram, Alba keeps it casual yet sleek for a full day of meetings, pairing jeans and sneakers with a structured bag and ladylike trench.
The outfit: Rather than a traditional pantsuit, Palermo opted for a bright orange vest-and-pants set, paired with a white T-shirt and unexpected yellow heels that somehow work perfectly.
The gig: If you’re not familiar with Draper James yet, you will be soon. Just last month, Witherspoon launched her much-anticipated Southern-inspired lifestyle and shopping site, which has already garnered quite a bit of buzz.
The outfit: For a day at the office, Witherspoon dressed up her denim with a blazer, printed top, and accessories to match.
The gig: In 2008, the former Spice Girl went from wearing the latest styles to designing them. Celebrities and editors alike love her successful and aptly named clothing line Victoria Beckham.
The outfit: On a visit to her first flagship store, Beckham stuck true to her style of wearing black and white, giving her look a professional twist with her button-down shirt.
