Did you know there's a fun holiday to celebrate this weekend? It's National Polka Dot Day on Sunday, January 22—yes, it's a real thing! The day celebrates the ultimate polka dot icon Minnie Mouse and her chic style. To mark the occasion this year, designer Olympia Le-Tan created a stylish new dress for the Disney character.
To get the scoop on the collaboration, we went straight to Le-Tan herself. "I was inspired by Minnie’s original blue dress from the '20s," she told Who What Wear. "I added an OLT twist with the sequins, the very puffy sleeves, and the clutch, of course." Plus, stay tuned for more from the designer: Le-Tan is also doing a Minnie collaboration for Uniqlo this spring.
Minnie debuted this look at a soiree celebrating the launch of Gray Malin's newest series, "The Red Carpet," for which Minnie served as the muse .
