Michelle Obama's style has consistently wowed us for the past eight years, and her look for Inauguration Day was certainly no exception. For the event, she chose a short-sleeve, midi-length burgundy dress. The sleek number was especially flattering, thanks to an A-line silhouette and a black leather belt that accentuated her waist. (No word yet on the designer, but check back for updates!) Accessorizing with just classic black pumps, the look was timeless and sophisticated.
As you already know, she supported a slew of fashion industry favorites during her tenure as first lady. Some of her go-to designers included Jason Wu, Altuzarra, and Michael Kors. (But who could forget when she surprised us with a glittering Versace gown?) All in all, her latest look was just as chic as we'd come to expect from her.
