The Celebs Who Broke Anna Wintour's Met Gala Dress Code

Tonight marks one of the biggest nights in the fashion industry, the annual Met Gala, where Anna Wintour hosts one of the most talked-about themed nights of the year. This year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala theme of Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination was co-hosted by Rihanna, Amal Clooney, and Donatella Versace. While celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande (to name a few) showed up in very obvious and on-theme ensembles, there were a few A-listers who arrived to the event breaking Wintour’s “dress code” by wearing looks that didn’t quite scream “on theme” for this year’s event.
