A year after restructuring its manufacturing efforts to be more environmentally friendly with its Take Action project, fast-fashion retailer Mango is taking its sustainability efforts a step further by launching Mango Committed. The collection for men and women is made entirely out of sustainable fabrics and materials and marks the Spanish brand's latest Take Action initiative in continuing to adopt sustainable business practices.
The 45-piece range, available in March, is constructed using textiles like organic cotton, recycled cotton, Tencel, and recycled polyester. While the color palette of the collection is neutral, silhouettes include structured suiting, minimal separates, and pleated detailing. Joining other high-street retailers like ASOS with its Eco Edit and H&M with the very popular Conscious Exclusive, Mango's positive move shows just how important a fashion brand's environmental footprint is, especially with manufacturing on such a massive scale.
