The New Brand Every Ref Girl Needs to Know About

Check out the Instagram account of Pia Arrobio and you’ll see hints of something special, a line that fashion It girls have been waiting all summer for. Arrobio’s eponymous line, LPA (her legal first name is Lara), finally launches today, and we’re expecting to see the disco-meets-downtown collection on many a fashion girl (Emily Ratajkowski and Kim Kardashian are already fans).

After five years as the designer at Reformation, Arrobio and LPA have homed in on the same formula that has created a loyal legion of “Ref girls” too. The clothes are a little bit party, a little bit laid-back, and the lookbook itself has a welcome irreverence (the labels clothes are styled with pieces from Adidas and Fila). Prices range from $58 all the way up to $1300 for a super-luxe embroidered leather jacket. Want to see more?

Check out a few of our favorite shots from the lookbook below, and then shop pieces from the new label to know!

A silky slip dress and a casual top make for a cool combination.

When sportswear and suede combine, great things can happen.

A top that’s a little bit romantic and a lot cool.

A sleek jumpsuit worthy of a night of dancing.

Lace-up details make this sweater stand out.

We love the look of the rose embroidery on this cool biker jacket.

A vintage-inspired floral print with just the right amount of attitude.
