Below, Lopez is sharing summer style tips.
This past week, I took a quick trip across the California coast to Catalina Island—just a boat ride away from Los Angeles. For low-key beach vacations, I always plan my outfits ahead of time and pack light. I recently purchased this adorable Flynn Skye skirt and knew that it would be perfect for the a beachside look. The floral pattern is perfectly feminine and has a subtle romantic flair.
At first, I was thrown off by the longer length of the skirt, but after playing with it I found that the open slit makes it easier to wear that you'd think. Since I am on the petite side, I always keep an eye out for high-waisted items to wear with a heeled shoe, like these Loq sandals. Petite girls, take note! I grabbed a vintage bag (of course) as well as a woven sun hat, and I was off to dinner!

A heeled sandal provides comfortable height.
I like wearing this necklace on its own or with other simple gold bands.
I always pack a hat for a weekend getaway.
