When actress Liu Shishi said "I do" under an arc of pastel flowers in Bali this month, the only thing more breathtaking than the setting was the bride's custom Carven gown. The Parisian house gave the classic strapless gown a twist by adding a lace neckline and a buttoned corset to an A-line silhouette.
But these weren't the only couture details, as shown by one of the house's creative directors via Instagram. Adrien Caillaudaud shared a peek at the dress's label, which included the bride's name embroidered in the perfect shade of "something blue" above the house name.
We love this customized twist on this longstanding bridal tradition, because aside from adding a personal touch, anyone with a needle and thread can attempt this special detail.
