Model/style icon, Lily Aldridge, has the kind of life most girls dream of. She's married to a rock star (Kings of Leon frontman, Caleb Followill), enjoys Angel status in the Victoria's Secret tribe, currently graces the cover of Sports Illustrated's 2014 swimsuit issue, and — as is if all that weren't enough—is also a talented designer. Most recently, she produced a capsule collection for Velvet by Graham & Spencer consisting of cool, versatile pieces inspired by festival season (fun fact: she met Followill at Coachella). We caught up with the willowy brunette to chat about her tips for navigating street style, red carpet fashion, and everything in between. Read on.
On how she pulls off being a lady that lunches:
“I was going to a luncheon for Michael Kors and this was so ladylike but still youthful, which is a tough note to hit."

“I made a last minute decision to go to my agent’s party, so I threw on this draped Lanvin dress and Isabel Marant boots.”
On how to navigate a quick jaunt to the Caribbean:
“I was returning from Turks & Caicos, we had just wrapped a Victoria’s Secret shoot. I practically live in those Helmut Lang leather leggings."
On how to invest in gold:
“This was at a CFDA event. I was the ‘date’ of design duo Veronica Beard, so I was wearing their dress. I got to keep it!”
On letting her bra strap show:
“This was a last minute outfit change as I was heading to a W Magazine party. I didn’t like what I was wearing so I switched into this Saint Laurent bra top and Gucci skirt."
On how a black fishnet dress can be angelic:
“Dolce & Gabbana let me dip into their archives for this dress. Since it was the Victoria’s Secret post-show party, I really went for it!”
