I love traveling and I always look forward to my next adventure with The Little Market! During our travels, it’s exciting to discover beautiful handmade goods and meet the artisans who made them. At The Little Market, we work to build sustainable partnerships with artisans all around the world, by connecting them with customers through an online marketplace.
One of the products that best represents what The Little Market is all about is our overnight bag. Each of these vibrant bags is made of hand-woven fabric, so no two are exactly alike. Whether you’re prepping for a weekend at Coachella, or escaping sub-zero temperatures for a sunny beach somewhere far away, you will definitely be traveling in style with this perfectly sized bag.
Keep scrolling to see the bag up close and learn more about its origins.
The bag is currently available in 12 different hand-woven patterns, whose names are inspired by our own travels (some of the favorite cities we’ve been to, and some we hope to visit someday!) Hopefully, we will get to Brazil!
When we traveled to Guatemala last March, we had the opportunity to meet the inspiring women who hand weave these bags. The indigenous women artisans are able to develop their skills and access formal education and health care. These overnight bags so special because every purchase translates directly into steady income and opportunities for the women artisans.
