Summertime may be the perfect opportunity to go sans shoes—or at least get some good use out of your favorite flip-flops. While most backyard BBQs and beach bonfires don’t have a shoe requirement, I still like to keep my closet stocked with classic styles just in case. Regardless of the time of year, I’ve selected five different shoes that I can’t see going out of style anytime soon. From ballet flats (are you sick of me talking about them yet?) to strappy sandals that scream night on the town, you’ll be ready for anything if you keep these shoes in your style arsenal.
Keep scrolling to see five shoe trends that can’t wait to be incorporated into your wardrobe…
If there’s one shoe that’s been taking up my closet space this season, it has to be sneakers. You can’t beat the comfort they provide, plus there are so many chic styles out there. Consider sneakers a fun and easy way to showcase your personality. Below I’ve picked a few of my current favorites.
While sandal trends may come and go, there’s one style in particular that has stood the test of time. Lace-up sandals are my favorite shoes to wear all summer long. From beach days to evening dinners under the stars, there aren’t many places you won’t find me wearing these adorable sandals. See my faves below.
Ballet flats will always be my go-to shoe. They’re versatile enough to dress up or down, depending on your mood and outfit. I wear them every time I run errands or head out to photo shoots. Plus, who doesn’t want to fulfill their childhood ballerina dreams one shoe at a time?
Nothing says subtle sophistication quite like a classic pump. I always keep a few pairs on hand to complement my favorite cocktail or party dresses. But let’s be real, they can transform any outfit into a head-turner and elongate your gams at the same time. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Strappy Heeled Sandals
Last but certainly not least, we have strappy sandals. After all, what would a classic shoe roundup be without them? Strappy heeled sandals are the perfect summer heel—just be sure to kick them off before putting your feet in the sand.
Which one of these styles is your favorite?
You really can’t go wrong either way! Let me know your faves in the comments.
