Kendall Jenner Just Did Her Version of the Coastal Grandma Trend

If you've perused social media at all this summer, you've probably heard that the biggest aesthetic trend of the season is "coastal grandma." (Think Diane Keaton in a Nancy Meyers film.) The trend, which TikTok made a thing, of course, is all about relaxed, cozy, classic pieces that would look just right in a New England beach town in late July.

I wouldn't say that Kendall Jenner's style is particularly coastal grandma-inspired, but perhaps she two has been seeing it all over TikTok this summer, as she just wore an outfit that I'd call her take on the trend. Jenner wore an oversize button-down shirt over a very cropped crop top, along with loose white pants (that look supremely comfortable), Birkenstocks, and a leather tote bag. Put her on a beach and I'd easily mistake her for a character in the next Nancy Meyers romantic comedy.
