Spannaus took The New York Observer on a really interesting tour of the J.Crew color library in New York—which houses more than 3600 swatches and patterns!—and the publisher asked her what she thinks are next season's hottest colors. She responded in no uncertain terms.

"A canary yellow is super versatile and complementary to every skin tone," Spannaus says.
