The fashion world can often all feel far too serious, and we forget that fashion should be artful, fleeting, and fun. Looking through the designer archives back to the '80s and '90s can bring a much-needed smile to our faces when it all gets a bit too heavy.
We experienced one such occasion when we stumbled across this old footage from Issey Miyake's S/S 95 runway show in New York. The designer dressed his models in A-line dresses with a Slinky-like fabric that bounced up and down as they walked. At one point, the models stood still and bobbed up and down to show the creative movement of their ensembles, and it was too fun not to share.
