Of all of the seasons, fall seems to be the one time of year when we decide to embrace the same color palette again and again. Whether it's a stately shade of green, a cozy camel, or a moody burgundy, these classic yet predictable shades pop up as soon as pre-fall collections hit stores in the late summer.
But this year, it looks like our favorite burgundy hue will meet an unlikely playmate: fire-engine red. As seen on Kiernan Shipka, a pop of red looks fresh when paired with traditionally fall-appropriate burgundy, especially in contrasting vinyl and knit textures. Play with the combination now because it might be the It color coupling this fall.
