Though widely known for her unapologetic femininity and Parisian appeal, Brigitte Bardot had another, more demure side as a dancer trained in classical French ballet. Before becoming the quintessential blond bombshell, Bardot studied at the Conservatoir de Paris, and her form and technique even spilled into her film career with movies like And God Created Woman.
Due to our love for all things Bardot combined with the abundance of ballet-inspired looks on the S/S 15 runways, we’re spotlighting a few archival images of the French star in her element. Scroll down to see the these pin-worthy photos and to shop our favorite prima ballerina pieces!
