Gucci continues to move further away from its roots with its Fall 2015 ad campaign, the first to be fully coordinated under creative director Alessandro Michele (the clothes in his pre-fall campaign had been designed by the previous creative director, Frida Giannini.) Shot by Glen Luchford, the images show models traversing the streets and public transportation of Los Angeles, an unusual choice that further proves the growing fashion power of the city.
Call us biased, but we very much approve. And, what’s more, a combination of bow-tie blouses, accordion-pleated skirts, and floral suiting lend the campaign a '70s secretary vibe that’s perfectly in tune with our current cravings. It’s safe to say that we are officially smitten with Michele’s take on Gucci.
