"Having a coat with a belt is essential because it defines your curves and gives you a nice silhouette, even when you're wearing a ton of layers. I wear a mid-thigh-length wool coat, but these can be trenches or even a down jacket." — Jennie Runk

"Skinny jeans keep you warm and can be tucked inside a pair of boots. I like to pair my jeans with tunic-length tops or sweaters for a more relaxed and casual look. Other times, I'll pair high-waisted skinny jeans with a cropped top to accentuate my waist." — Jennie Runk

"I like to keep at least four styles of boots on hand: calf-length flat boots, calf-length heeled boots, ankle-length chunky combat boots, and heeled booties. Coats and shoes are sometimes the only part of your outfit that's visible in the winter, so being able to switch up your boots gives easy versatility during the cold winter months." — Jennie Runk

"Makeup is a huge part of winter dressing, especially when you're so bundled up and all anyone can see is your lips. My favorites are always a classic red and deep plum, but sometimes I like to play with a bright pink or a cool lavender." — Jennie Runk
