Just a warning, over the last few months I've been a bit all over the place (literally and figuratively) so you can expect the shopping roundup you're about to encounter to mirror that sentiment! Home, vacation, early pregnancy, late pregnancy—we've got the picks for all and more, so buckle up. As always, you can expect largely a mélange of my favorite basics (including several duplicates because they're that good) plus, of course, the occasional "fun" find. This time, those are mostly in the beachwear category because 'tis the season. If any of that made your ears perk up, simply keep scrolling to get started.

These four items—my J.Crew Rollneck, Donni cargoes, The Row Idaho bag, and Salomons—are heavy in my rotation right now, and I'm dreading the day it gets too hot for knitwear in New York.

You don't often see me in print, but when you do it's on vacation and 50% likely an animal variety! I love Zebra, and I loved this sheer dress for wearing over a bikini on a recent trip.

Now that it has started to warm up, I have been living in this breezy maxi dress from Dissh.

Circling back to travel for the next few slides, I love a crochet dress for vacation, and this one from Baobab was the perfect combination of special and relaxed. It has the loose, laid-back silhouette which, paired with the resin stone detail on the front, is ideal for anything from the beach or a night out.

If you're looking for a non-maternity but maternity-friendly swimwear brand, it's Hunza G, and I was obsessed with how perfectly this blue one-piece paired with my blue-checked cargo pants for a beach and shopping day.

Half the times that I'm scrolling and come across a cover-up or summer dress that I love, I feel like it's by Cala de la Cruz. My exact print is from last year, so it's no longer available, but the same dress does come in a new and arguably cooler print, below.

This photo is admittedly not my best work and not doing the jacket justice, but I was running out the door and really did want everyone to know about this on-trend, funnel-neck jacket that Reformation has perfected. It's lightweight enough for spring and summer but roomy, so you can layer knits under when the weather gets a little cold, too. And the drawstring at the waist is the cherry on top.

More drawstring pants? Yes. Your eyes are not deceiving you. This time, it's the $98 J.Crew pants our entire team is loving paired with the Madewell tee I own in multiple sizes, colors, and duplicates because it's that good.

So if it's not abundantly clear already, I am, in fact, obsessed with these pants and this sweater and do own each in three colors.

Now, this is really outside the box for me, but like I've said in the past, I'll always step outside my comfort zone for a piece that is special enough, and this VRG GRL dress that I wore as a cover-up felt like a worthy excuse.

Closing it out with me in my comfies… I will never stop raving about pointelle pants as the superior casual bottom option, nor will I cease to sing the praises of these cute, chic, and, most importantly, breathable, mesh Miu Miu slides for summer.

I've worn this sheer wrap more times than I should even admit. Whether for an event or dinner, it's the perfect going-out top that's not even really a top, and I'm constantly getting complimented on it.

Whether with boots or sneakers, this COS jacket is the piece I throw on when I really want to look put-together. I mean, how can you not look polished and intentional in a sand suede jacket? I didn't intend for it to match my favorite sneakers when I bought it, but it's great that it does.

There's nothing better than people telling you they love your set and being able to reply with "Thanks, it's from Gap!"

These are two staple pieces I bought recently in November and haven't stopped wearing since. The sweater is perfectly oversize—not too loose and not clingy—and the loafers add polish to every outfit but are shockingly durable and comfortable too.

Another trick of mine for looking like I really put an outfit together lately has been to swap my jeans for silky pants. I recently bought these in both white and navy and wear them nonstop.

This is just one of many ways I've styled this perfect Zara suede jacket.

One thing about me is I love a skort, and this black satin one has filled a hole I didn't even realize was in my wardrobe. Note: I did size up for a slightly longer fit.

It may be a little too cold for this in NYC now, but if you live somewhere with a milder winter or don't mind holding on to it for a few months, this Levi's bomber is so good.

I had been dancing around the pony-hair trend for a while until I finally came across this Nour Hammour coat and knew it checked all my boxes. It works for day or night and can be endlessly styled in new and interesting ways or, of course, serve as the most interesting part of your outfit.

I've dabbled in loose jeans throughout the years but never found a pair that really felt flattering on my 5'2" frame—until these.

Okay, full disclosure, I don't technically own this coat *yet* but after trying it on for a special newsletter, I think it might just be my next purchase.

Starting off with one of several vacation outfits, here I paired two new items—the Cala de la Cruz bikini and The Row barn tote—with two older ones. The shorts have been my go-to for pairing with beachwear for the last few years because they're not lined, so they look very thin and flowy. The robe, which I probably bought five or six years ago, is by the brand Sleeper, and while it's no longer in stock, I did find one on The RealReal for anyone interested!

If you're looking for a cool, non-basic white button-down, this is it. It has these hooks and buttons on the sides so that you can cinch the waist, making it so flattering but still simple, and if you click through to Nordstrom, you can see another way to style it in which you crisscross the front. My mom saw it on me and immediately bought it in both colors, which, to me, is always how I know something is good.

This was my travel look from a couple weeks back, and while I highly endorse the sweater and sneakers (as I have in the past), I need everyone to stop and buy these poplin pants from Banana Republic ASAP. They're the perfect balance of polished and casual, and I never want to wear anything else these days. The bag, which I also love, was not only my travel bag but also my beach bag for my entire trip. It's so light but fits a ton and is perfectly oversize but not to the point of looking silly.

This was one of my favorite outfits from my trip not only because of how it looked but because of how easy and comfortable it was. I paired an Andie gingham one-piece with white boxer-style shorts from Revolve (found at the last minute), and when I wasn't at the beach, I wore my fun new tee by Em on Holiday over it. The blue happened to match perfectly, and everyone knows that nothing brings me joy like being in a T-shirt.

Looking to spice up a white dress or make an old one feel new? Fun accessories are what you need. Here, I paired an ultra-flattering Dissh midi—which on me is a maxi—with my beloved Olympia le Tan clutch and a summery statement necklace. I can see myself wearing this dress over and over again simply by changing around the jewelry, bag, shoes, or all three. I would love it just as much with all black and neutral accessories for a different occasion.

I love this Madewell dress so much I've worn it at least once a week, often twice, for the last two months. It's breezy, it's comfortable, it's flattering, it's versatile, and it's black! What more could one possibly want?

These are two new-ish pieces I not only love wearing together like above but have used so much separately in a variety of outfits, too. The top comes with a matching skirt and makes for an incredibly cute cover-up set. The shorts are a bloomer-style pair—and a particularly flattering one—and I've been styling them with everything from tanks to cardigans.

This is one of those outfits I wear whenever I don't know what to wear. A flattering, smocked tank; black cargo pants; and platform sandals for a little extra height. My pants are taffeta and sold out but still in stock in poplin, and my sandals are out of stock in burgundy but still available (and on sale) in black! These are three elevated basics you'll use over and over again.

When it comes to beachwear, if I'm going to splurge on something, it has to be a piece I can see myself loving and returning to for years, and this tunic was one of those pieces. I eyed it for months after it first came out, hoping it would go on sale eventually, and once it did, I purchased it immediately. It's so timeless but also intricate thanks to the lace detailing and just one of those items I feel special in.

Closing it out with my casual outfit of choice these days, this is what you'll see me in at home, on quick grocery runs, or when picking up my son from the camp bus. Getting into each item separately, we have my beloved Flore Flore tank (which I own two of), my Skims boxer shorts (which run big FYI), and, of course, my trusty Birkenstock Arizona sandals.

Not only is this one of my go-to styling tricks for summer—wearing all-white clothes with black accessories—but these are also pretty much all my favorite wardrobe basics. The white tank and pants are so easy to style and versatile, and the belt, sandals, and bag are some of the accessories I find myself reaching for most often lately.

You may already know that I'm on a crochet kick, but this skirt is actually a favorite from last summer that I'm even more excited to wear again this year. I love my silver version, but you'll see if you click below that it also comes in a slightly more neutral metallic gold that I am constantly trying to stop myself from buying as well. Here, I styled it with a simple blue button-down, but I love wearing it with a white tank as well.

Two things I love are tailored basics and matching sets, so when I received this outfit to wear for an event, I never wanted to take it off. I found myself wearing it out to dinner constantly over the following weeks and still now. I wear the pieces as a set but also separately. Since they are navy as opposed to black, they feel really elevated and spring ready when styled with white. The jacket pairs so well with white trousers, and I love the navy trousers with a white shirt or tank.

I need to start by saying that, sadly, this exact High Sport knit vest is nearly sold out. However, what really matters here is the outfit combo I have been living in. You can get the look with a similar sleeveless sweater from J.Crew that I found below along with my go-to trousers. Here, I'm wearing it with my Gucci Jackie bag that I recently added a little bag charm to and the same A.Emery sandals as above, but this outfit can easily be dressed up by swapping in heels.

I got to borrow this Posse set for a try-on and loved it so much I ended up buying it. You may remember it as one of Sofia Richie Grainge's wedding-weekend outfits, and while you'd think we'd be over it two years later, it very much still lands. It's so easy to wear and flattering, and I'm considering buying it in black too.

Back to crochet. I knew I needed this set the second I saw it. It's neural but still fun, and it will pair perfectly with my extensive collection of black and white bikinis. Plus, the top looks just as good with white pants as it does with the matching skirt, so I know I'll wear it well beyond the beach.

I'm surprised I don't have a more recent photo in these sneakers for warmer weather, but regardless, I needed to include them because I have been wearing them nonstop. They're comfortable and easy to match with everything but still feel special thanks to the on-trend retro nod.

When I tell you this white long-sleeve is my favorite, most used item in this roundup, I truly mean it. I love it so much I have bought three of them just so that I always have a clean one ready in my drawer. Paired with it is a pair of vintage—sorry—Levi's, my beloved Aritzia socks, and simple G.H.Bass loafers I bought on the recommendation of our editorial director, Lauren Eggertsen. One note about the shoes is to size down half a size!

Hello, and happy fashion month! As you can see, the team here at Who What Wear has been busy attending shows, predicting trends, and decoding all that the street style scene has to offer, and there's so much more to come as London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks all continue to unfold. I, personally, have been so inspired by the street style snaps and runways, taking inspiration from both for my current outfits as well as potential shopping picks for the season ahead.

Some of this will be reflected in today's roundup, but seeing as we are in the middle of a cold, cold winter (here in NYC, at least), you can expect everyday, "just getting by" looks too. As always, there's a little bit of everything—from cozy coats to leggings to fancier 'fits—because that's just what life entails! Coming in hot are two of my favorite new pieces, both of which are kind of atypical for me as a lover of black. Nonetheless, I've been wearing them nonstop. The jacket is not only cozy and comfortable but also so luxe looking in person, and these sneakers are the cool, low-key, go-with-everything pair I've been looking for for the longest time.

Looking to dress up your go-to sweater? Here's an easy outfit I've been wearing a ton lately featuring some of my favorites. This sweater is so amazing I have it in three—yes, three—colors, and if you plan to buy it, I would recommend sizing down for a more fitted look! This double-wrap belt adds an interesting element to everything I pair it with, and the boots are so simple yet special at the same time.

I don't know why it took me so long to come around to fitted blazers and low-rise pants, but alas, here we are. I've been living in these both separately and together and can't recommend each piece enough!

I won't tell you how often my morning attempt to dress up ends up becoming a legging day, but I will say that having a fun fleece to pair them with really makes you feel cooler while wearing them.

Sorry for the weird picture, but I realized it's really hard to take an outfit selfie with your belt showing, and that's what I was going for here because I needed to share this leopard one I've been wearing nonstop. Whether you live in basics or are a maximalist, this little accessory will be such a strong addition to your wardrobe. Here, I wore it with a black suede jacket, the Favorite Daughter trousers from a few slides up, and my trusty black slingbacks.

This isn't my first time featuring this cape, but I felt compelled to share it again because it's just that good. This time, I styled it with a black miniskirt (that doesn't really show) underneath, sheer tights, knee-high boots, a simple black belt, and a brooch to keep it in place and give the look a little something extra.

I got this coat a couple months ago, and I probably wear it five days a week. It's warm, it's cool, and it's special and long enough to pretty much be the entire outfit, so I don't need to pay too much attention to what's going on underneath. Does it get better than that?

Circling back to the low-rise-pants thing, I finally got low-rise jeans, and I'm actually shocked by how much I like them. This pair specifically is so flattering, has a great wash, and pools perfectly around my sneakers, lending itself to an easy but on-trend outfit every time.

Okay guys, we made it to December, and here in NYC, that means two things: We're dressing for holiday parties, and we're dressing for the cold. Unfortunately, these don't always go hand in hand, but what can you do but make it work?! Whether it's for an office event, bestie gathering, or school drop-off, there are outfits to be worn. All I can say is I tried my best—insert laughing/crying emoji here. Really, I've been making it work this winter with new finds and old favorites, and it's been kind of fun putting outfits together for new occasions nearly every day.

For anyone keeping tabs, this is probably the first hat to ever appear in this series, and that's how you know how cold it's been where I live. Thankfully, this jacket has been keeping me very warm and earning compliments left and right.

Anytime I have a party and don't know what to wear, I opt for some version of this outfit: a black dress, sheer tights, slingbacks, and a fun bag. Now, this dress is technically a top, so if needed, it can be layered over a black miniskirt. On me, however, it was just the right length. I had been eyeing it for some time, so I bought it immediately once the sales started, but I was able to find it still in stock!

Another go-to outfit of mine? Oversize blazer dress with tights and knee-high boots. Now, my exact one is no longer available, but I stumbled upon an alternative piece I just might buy myself as well.

I was actually going to curriculum night at my children's school followed by a dinner this evening, so this is what I went with! Whenever I'm trying to dress for multiple things at once, I find that a sweater, a belt, and trousers are a safe choice.

Now, for one of my favorite outfits as of late, we have this sheer-skirt moment with a tee and V-neck sweater layered over it. This "skirt" is actually a now-sold-out Theory dress that I bought knowing I'd want to style exactly as so, and a skirt really does the trick and makes layering a little easier. To achieve this look, I hemmed the underneath layer a bit shorter to create more contrast with the organza, and I feel like it made it a bit cooler.

Now, for what I really look like most days! This is my base layer for drop-off and Pilates before a coat goes on top. I'm obsessed with this V-neck sweater and have recently acquired it in three colors. With it, I'm wearing my go-to slouchy bag (that can be lengthened and shortened to be worn both on the shoulder and crossbody), a simple long-sleeve, black leggings, ankle socks, and sneakers.

Dresses not your thing? The cardigan-and-miniskirt combo has yet to fail me. Lately, I've been wearing these two so much, both together and separately. The outfit is also perfect for constantly refreshing with new accessories.

Closing it out with an oldie-but-goodie outfit I typically pair with flat boots or sneakers. My new boots had arrived this day, so I threw them on to run out the door! I love that the color of this barn jacket (which belongs to my husband but I have taken over) matches these Agolde jeans perfectly.

I'm baaack! After a nearly two-year hiatus, I've returned to sharing my real-life shopping picks in a little series known as Trust Me—Buy This. Inspired by my now-defunct shopping Instagram account—if you know, you know—this is where I get to show you what I'm actually wearing out in the world and what was truly worth spending my money on. In other words, things are getting personal, and there are mirror selfies involved.

For the season premiere, you can expect tons of spring-ready pieces (and outfits) that can easily transition into summer since, as we know, that's just a few short weeks away. I thought the cargo-pant trend wasn't for me until I found these. I have to stop myself from wearing them every day and am already thinking about snagging a second pair in one of the other colors. Pro tip: They run large, so I would suggest going one size down. About the shoes: I was late to the Samba game, but I finally know what I was missing out on. They simply go with everything and are both relaxed and polished at the same time.

When I tell you these are the coolest shoes I own, I mean it. I've loved Salomons since I saw them on none other than Hailey Bieber, and when I finally got my hands on a pair, I was hooked. This color is unfortunately sold out, but below are the other shades of the XT-6 style that I'm considering buying next.

I've been wearing these simple black leggings for over three years and through two pregnancies. When I tell you that the first pair I purchased then looks just as new as the pair I bought three months ago, I mean it. They don't fade, they don't tear or pill, and they're so flattering.

Any Pilates girlies in the house? You need these affordable tube grip socks.

The Khaite Lotus Mini Bag is probably the most complimented item in my rotation right now, and that's not just because I wear it nearly every day. The suede is stunning, the shape is unique, and it's such an easy bag to just throw your things in and go. I love this size, but I'm highly considering adding a second larger one to my rotation for days when I have more to tote.

I initially borrowed this jacket for a Who What Wear try-on story, and I loved it so much that I ended up buying it afterward. I'm all about topping off my warm-weather looks with a light layer, and this linen piece felt like one step up from a button-down without the heaviness of a jacket. I wear it with everything from jeans to shorts to workout clothes (as seen in previous slides). 

I feel like you're either a pouch person or not, and I'm such a pouch person. When I saw these in the Zara new-arrivals section, it took me all but one minute to add them to my cart and check out. When they came, I immediately sent this picture to my friends and told them they all needed to get them too. I love the texture and colors and just know I'll use them so much for future travels.

I never felt like I could pull off baggier jeans until I got these Levi's. They're the perfect level of bagginess for me—not too oversize but not tight either. I like how they are mid-rise rather than super high, and they're that classic shade of blue that I love. Oh, and did I mention they're under $100? What's not to love?

Looking for the perfect going-out top that feels cool yet polished? Meet the Susana Monaco Faux Leather Tube Top. It's fun, it's flattering, and it goes with everything from trousers to miniskirts to jeans. I've been wearing it on repeat ever since I got it, and I just found out it comes in a cropped version too. Guess what's in my cart?

It's seriously so good.

We can thank TikTok for this one because that's where I discovered the unbelievably cool brand behind this top. I saw it on my For You page, and I think I ordered it within minutes—no regrets. The jeans are a Reformation pair that I have been loving lately. Just simple straight-leg, high-rise denim that pairs well with everything. 

Not all tanks are created equal, and immediately upon trying it on, I realized that this one by Wardrobe.NYC (the brand that perfects every basic) was a real treat. The cut, thickness, and shade of black are just on another level. Here, I'm wearing it with my favorite maxi skirt by Matteau. When I bought it on Moda Operandi, I noticed that they had styled it with the waistband folded over on the runway, so that's how I've been wearing it, and it just feels a little cooler.

The folding also cinches the waist more, making it even more flattering.

Aside from being on a linen kick, I'm on a vest kick, so this outfit really combines all my current passions in one! I got this vest (with the matching pants) a few months ago and have gotten so much use out of it by pairing it with different bottoms ever since—and it's not even summer yet! The shorts are another item influenced by my Reformation try-on, and they're such a good addition to my closet. They can be dressed up or worn casually, but either way, they feel so comfortable and easy.

The tee is so easy (I have it in both black and white), the jeans are my ideal cut and wash for summer, and the Birkenstocks were a summer-ready upgrade from the fuzzy pair I wore all of winter and early spring.

I'm obsessed with this "shacket," and even though it's on the heavier side, I know it will come in handy on those chillier summer nights. While this exact color is sold out, there are literally dozens of other options to chose from.

Judging by the fact that my mom still has and wears pairs she bought upwards of 20 years ago, I really think of Manolo Blahnik shoes as more of an investment than a splurge. I especially love these simple and flattering mules because, other than winter (in NYC at least), you can really wear them in any season.

Yes, blazers are so important they deserve their own category. My tip? If you want to wear them well into winter, opt for an oversize fit (even if it's slight) so that you can layer sweaters underneath as the temperatures continue to drop.

Whether you opt for a shacket, trench, blazer, or anything else, you'll want to prioritize leather (or, of course, faux leather) pieces this season.

Classic, wool and wool-blend coats and jackets are always in style and perfect for both layering and wearing alone.

Did you miss this? Sorry for the rather long hiatus, but as you can probably imagine, the shopping (and dressing) isn't quite the same as it was back in February when NYFW had just wrapped up and there were endless excuses to buy, wear, and share various fashion finds. Of course, I've still found ways to make the new normal of dressing predominately for the home both more exciting and comfortable, just at a bit of a slower cadence, which is why I'm finally ready to share some of my methods and "tools" with you here today! 

With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I post my own (mediocre) snaps of items I'm into at the moment, below you'll find a few outfit combos I've been wearing more than I'd like to admit, along with some straight-up shopping recommendations that I can't help but tell everyone I know to buy. So whether you're in the market for slippers, sandals, sweats, or just a distraction, simply continue on for all of the above and more.

Two things I've written at length about here on WWW are the slit-leggings trend and the current New Balance craze. I guess this outfit (which I've been wearing repeatedly) is the equivalent of putting my money where my mouth is. But really, I love how these leggings fit and look with both sneakers and sandals, and as far as the New Balances go, I've pretty much forgotten about all my other tennis shoes since I started wearing them. 

Here are those leggings again, but this time with sandals. Specifically, this under-$100 Who What Wear pair (bias aside) I am actually obsessed with. They are my first foray into the sporty-sandal trend and I don't know why it took me this long to get on board. I love that they're comfortable enough to wear all day on the weekends but also when I like to take my short daily walks in between working from home. Plus, everything looks better in mock croc.

While I tend to lean toward the neutral and simple categories of clothes, it's always nice to have a more exciting outfit to throw on for a pick-me-up every once in a while. This set is from Donni, but in case your size isn't available, I've included another fun one I've been eyeing below, too. With it, I'm wearing one of my many pairs of athletic-inspired socks (because I've been wearing just socks more than actual shoes lately). 

Speaking of pick-me-ups, throwing on some jewelry is a great way to achieve a similar effect, without quite as much effort as changing your entire outfit. Here, I've added a gold bracelet and trending gold chunky ring to an older one that I always have on. I must say, I did feel fancy for a day or so, and have started integrating more pieces into my casual weekend looks—even if it's just for a stroll.

If there's one thing I'm actively shopping for right now, it's athletic and athletic-inspired shorts. As the temperatures start to rise, they're ideal for wearing both at home and outside, and I just love the sporty feel they give an outfit. This pair from Nike has been serving me quite well lately, and while they are sold out, I found a similar style from Puma that I may just buy myself, too. Here, I paired it with one of my many go-to ribbed tanks and this Cotton Citizen sweatshirt-style button-down that I've also been living in. 

In the market for some slippers? Normally, I wouldn't expect much of an enthusiastic response, but in today's world, I'm betting a lot of you just yelled "Yes!" inside your heads. So if like me, you're more of an "open-toe slippers" kind of person, I highly recommend these from Ugg. If not, I've got you covered with tons more pairs here, but either way, I'd suggest throwing on some tie-dye socks for good measure. 

Want to upgrade your lazy day sweatpants-and-tee look? Make it monochromatic. On this day, I went for all white and it really did feel like I was kind of dressed up. Of course, the pearl necklace doesn't hurt things either.

After a long year of shopping, wearing things, and trying to convince you to trust me and buy things, 2019 is over and we're straight into 2020—giving me an opportunity to reflect on the past year of wardrobe hits and misses. While I can honestly say I loved all the items I wore (and endorsed) over the course of the last 12 months, naturally, some had more of an impact than others—and, with that, garnered more compliments.

Okay, just what were they? With everything from shoes and bags to clothes and jewellery making the cut, I guess you could say it’s quite the range, and not just in terms of what type of items they are. From my favourite £43 sneakers to the investment coat I’m planning to wear for many winters to come, the price points are also a true high-low mix—right in line with my style.

So if you’re ready to see and shop my favourite fashion finds of last year, just keep reading.

Starting things off with the flattering tank I wore all spring and summer and this eye-catching Yuzefi bag. While this exact colour of the bag is no longer available anymore, it was recently released in all-black, and I might even like it better than my own.

This blazer helped me look polished despite so many lazy days this year. It's also worth noting that I went one size up so that I could achieve an ever-so-slightly oversized look and continue to be able to wear it layered over sweaters in the colder months.

This might be one of my favourite outfits I wore all year. This Nanushka skirt is just so flattering and luxe-looking (despite being faux leather), and the Staud mules were not only lovely to look at, but they were also so comfortable. I can't believe they're 40% off and not sold out!

I think these boots speak for themselves, but I will say that they're especially perfect for NYC or London because of their lug soles and durable patent-leather material.

I tend to keep it pretty simple when buying designer bags, but when I saw this embellished Prada style a few months ago, I literally couldn't help myself from buying it. I love how the jewels are green because it actually is so easy to match, and it's the perfect size for day or night. I've been using it nonstop ever since.

I will treasure this grandma-inspired Saks Potts coat until I am literally a grandma. It's just so fun and special, and while this exact style is now sold out, its other coats all possess that same quality.

I'm extremely picky about jeans, so it was a pretty big deal with this Slvrlake pair became my new blue go-to.

Firstly, I cannot tell you how many times I've had to convince people that this blazer is, in fact, from Zara and not designer. Secondly, I have to give a major shout-out to these Agolde jeans I wore countless times this year.

This little green bag by Montunas is another on-sale item I urge you all to buy. It's a magnet for compliments and so easy to wear with anything.

Meet the perfect non-boring black bikini top.

These sunglasses basically have not left my face since I got them back in January. That's how much I love them.

I love a kitten heel, but I really love a black kitten heel that goes with everything and makes all your basic outfits just a little more interesting. Mine are velvet and now sold out, but they're still available in black leather, and I'd highly recommend buying them.

Even when I wore five other necklaces at the same time, this half-pearl, half-chain one seemed to be the one people commented on the most.

I desperately "needed" a leather trench and am pleased to say I found the perfect one for me. It's definitely an investment piece, but I plan to wear this for years and years to come thanks to the trend's classic nature.

I needed a pair of simple, white sneakers to wear with any outfit, and when I found these, I could tell they were just perfect—and that was before I even knew the price.

These pants are so cool and luxe-looking in person that even my super-picky mom bought them.

Fun fact: Despite my *usually* simple style, I'm oddly also a sucker for anything embellished. I guess it's good that most of my outfits are pretty basic because if not, said bejeweled items would have nowhere to fit in. On that note, this Prada bag has blended seamlessly into my wardrobe and is definitely one of my favorite purchases of the year.

Remember when I talked about how much I love wearing all-black in fall? I wasn't lying! This season, I have my blazers in heavier rotation than ever before, and this oversize one from Zara is seriously a 10. It looks perfect with anything but especially my go-to jeans and Western boots. My advice is to size down though because it's truly oversize. (I'm wearing an XS for reference.)

This photo was, of course, taken way earlier in the month when wearing just a tank top outdoors was still normal, but my feelings about said top and this bag still stand. I plan to wear the top under cardigans and blazers throughout the rest of the season. As for the bag? Let me tell you! It's from & Other Stories and looks so much more expensive than its under-$150 price tag, and while this exact one is sold out online, my guess is that the below similar style is just as luxe-looking in person.

The two main takeaways from this photo are as follows: One, while I might be biased, this under-$50 leather shirt-jacket from our Who What Wear collection is seriously so good. Two, I'm wearing wedge boots for the first time in I don't know how many years, and I feel great about it because not only are they comfortable, but they actually look fashion-forward and modern, too.

Another blazer for you! This checked style from L'Agence is perfect for work because it adds a classic element to any outfit. Plus, it's very in line with one of my favorite trends of the season. Read all about that here.

Since getting these Adidas last week, I have been opting for them any time I can get away with it (which meant all weekend plus Friday). Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they're also the perfect simple-but-stylish white sneakers that have that vintage vibe and somehow look designer. At least that's what a friend told me when she saw me wearing them.

Another investment from last year that I plan on wearing for many falls to come is this Balenciaga hourglass blazer. It's the perfect alternative to a coat because it's actually pretty thick and warm and goes well with everything from jeans to trousers to skirts. Here I've paired it with Proenza Schouler boots, which I had my eyes on for a while and finally purchased. I've already worn them so much in the last few weeks and imagine they'll only become more useful when it gets colder.

If you recognize this sweater and bag from my last Trust Me, Buy This roundup, your eyes are not deceiving you. Since I have continued to wear both on repeat, I figured they were worth a re-share. This time, I styled them with one of my new favorite pairs of jeans (as you can tell, I have a lot) from J Brand's collab with Elsa Hosk. They're mid-rise, which I thought wasn't for me anymore, but the vintage-effect wash and loose fit make them feel very cool.

Now that the weather has finally warmed up, I’ll be living in black sandals for the next few months. Currently, this is the pair I’m wearing on repeat to the office and on the weekends.

This outfit was my first-ever foray into long denim shorts, and I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed with them. They're perfect for those days where it's too hot for jeans, but short shorts won't work either. I recently started working out and, aside from realizing that matching sets make dressing for the gym much easier, I also learned that cool sneakers are a big motivator, too.

I’d like to preface this story by informing anyone reading that I’m no beauty editor. In fact, I’m possibly the furthest thing from it. As someone who has had a deep love affair with fashion my entire life, I never really had the time to devote as much attention to makeup, skincare, or anything else that falls under the general umbrella of beauty. If I did, I’d never get off the internet or out of the house in the morning! I do, however, I do have a few things going for me when it comes to the category:

1. I’m lazy, which means I often seek out easy-yet-effective products and practices.

2. I’ve worked alongside beauty editors for the last five years, leading me to pick up my fair share of tricks here and there. AKA I hounded them with questions.

3. I’m Persian, which makes me, by default, an expert in hair—as I’ve had to maintain my own mane for as long as I could hold a brush. Thank you, mum.

Given all the above, I’ve managed to get by and actually receive a handful of compliments and questions about my various routines when I post my favourite fashion finds on @trustmebuythis. Most often, as I’m sure you’ve already guessed, these questions relate to hair. So today is the day I’m finally sharing what I do know, as well as a little bit about what I don’t—but first, a few last notes...

I get asked a lot about how I keep my hair healthy. I honestly think a lot of it has to do with genetics, but one thing I avoid is using a flat iron (especially on the ends) because of the damage and dryness they can cause. I have naturally curly hair and style it at least twice a week, but only with a blow dryer and curling wands—never an iron. If I’m getting a blowout, which I also do regularly, I request they do the same and only use an iron if they really can't get a section of the roots straight (usually the baby hairs).

You’ll also notice there’s nothing about shampoo or conditioner in this article. That’s because I’m pretty low-maintenance about them and don’t stick to one specific brand or product. It’s kind of a revolving door of samples and drugstore finds, so no use in taking my advice there. Now that we’ve got that covered, scroll through for the tools and products I do highly recommend!

Brushes

I’ve decided to spare you a photo of my hair-covered brushes in favour of the above. The first thing I use when I’m preparing to wash and style my hair is a Conair paddle brush just before I get in the shower (when my hair is still dry). I find it’s easier to detangle that way and makes the need to brush after the shower much more minimal. Later, while blow-drying, I only use a round brush, as I’ve been told you can damage your hair otherwise. It’s also essential to achieving volume and shine, if you ask me.

Hot Tools

Onto my blow dryer—yes, it’s pink, but the colour is optional. Since I have thicker hair that’s also naturally curly, I need a strong blow dryer to help make the process of doing it myself easier. I’ve been using this one by T3 for several months now after retiring my (very) old one, and it has been serving me quite well. I blow-dry my hair section by section from bottom to top until it’s all smooth.

Up next: wands. I have two different curling wands that I use to wave my hair. Why wands, and why two? I’ll explain… Firstly, I use wands rather than traditional curling irons because they’re easier to use and they don’t clamp onto your hair the way a curler does. The one on the left is GHD, and it gets very hot, so it creates a really tight, long-lasting curl. I use it after blow-drying to get tight curls which I brush out with my fingers. Because my hair is thick and long, I have to start with tight curls if I want it to last a few days. The second wand (from Bed Head) has a larger barrel and is ceramic. It creates equally beautiful waves but is not as strong, so I use it if I need to touch up a portion or want my hair to settle into a softer look. If you have thinner or lighter hair, you’ll probably be able to achieve a tighter curl with the Bed Head.

I don’t typically use a holding spray in my hair unless it’s very humid or I’m traveling. That said, I’ve found that in either situation, these are the best two. On the left is a traditional hair spray—but much lighter-feeling. It does the job without giving you crunchy hair. The other is an anti-humidity spray that keeps my hair from curling up or frizzing when summer hits in NYC or I take a tropical vacation. It also leaves almost no feeling or texture on your hair after it’s applied.

Every once in a while—usually in winter—my scalp gets a little dry, and this treatment saves me. I’d like to preface this story by informing anyone reading that I’m no beauty editor. In fact, I’m possibly the furthest thing from it. As someone who has had a deep love affair with fashion my entire life, I never really had the time to devote as much attention to makeup, skincare, or anything else that falls under the general umbrella of beauty. If I did, I’d never get off the internet or out of the house in the morning! I do, however, I do have a few things going for me when it comes to the category:

1. I’m lazy, which means I often seek out easy-yet-effective products and practices.

2. I’ve worked alongside beauty editors for the last five years, leading me to pick up my fair share of tricks here and there. AKA I hounded them with questions.

3. I’m Persian, which makes me, by default, an expert in hair—as I’ve had to maintain my own mane for as long as I could hold a brush. Thank you, mom.

Given all the above, I’ve managed to get by and actually receive a handful of compliments and questions about my various routines when I post my favorite fashion finds on @trustmebuythis. Most often, as I’m sure you’ve already guessed, these questions relate to hair. So today is the day I’m finally sharing what I do know, as well as a little bit about what I don’t—but first, a few last notes...

I get asked a lot about how I keep my hair healthy. I honestly think a lot of it has to do with genetics, but one thing I avoid is using a flat iron (especially on the ends) because of the damage and dryness they can cause. I have naturally curly hair and style it at least twice a week, but only with a blow dryer and curling wands—never an iron. If I’m getting a blowout, which I also do regularly, I request they do the same and only use an iron if they really can't get a section of the roots straight (usually the baby hairs).

You’ll also notice there’s nothing about shampoo or conditioner in this article. That’s because I’m pretty low-maintenance about them and don’t stick to one specific brand or product. It’s kind of a revolving door of samples and drugstore finds, so no use in taking my advice there. Now that we’ve got that covered, scroll through for the tools and products I do highly recommend!

I’ve decided to spare you a photo of my hair-covered brushes in favor of the above. The first thing I use when I’m preparing to wash and style my hair is a Conair paddle brush just before I get in the shower (when my hair is still dry). I find it’s easier to detangle that way and makes the need to brush after the shower much more minimal. Later, while blow-drying, I only use a round brush, as I’ve been told you can damage your hair otherwise. It’s also essential to achieving volume and shine, if you ask me.

Onto my blow dryer—yes, it’s pink, but the color is optional. Since I have thicker hair that’s also naturally curly, I need a strong blow dryer to help make the process of doing it myself easier. I’ve been using this one by T3 for several months now after retiring my (very) old one, and it has been serving me quite well. I blow-dry my hair section by section from bottom to top until it’s all smooth.

Up next: wands. I have two different curling wands that I use to wave my hair. Why wands, and why two? I’ll explain… Firstly, I use wands rather than traditional curling irons because they’re easier to use and they don’t clamp onto your hair the way a curler does. The one on the left is GHD, and it gets very hot, so it creates a really tight, long-lasting curl. I use it after blow-drying to get tight curls which I brush out with my fingers. Because my hair is thick and long, I have to start with tight curls if I want it to last a few days. The second wand (from Bed Head) has a larger barrel and is ceramic. It creates equally beautiful waves but is not as strong, so I use it if I need to touch up a portion or want my hair to settle into a softer look. If you have thinner or lighter hair, you’ll probably be able to achieve a tighter curl with the Bed Head.

I don’t typically use a holding spray in my hair unless it’s very humid or I’m traveling. That said, I’ve found that in either situation, these are the best two. On the left is a traditional hair spray—but much lighter-feeling. It does the job without giving you crunchy hair. The other is an anti-humidity spray that keeps my hair from curling up or frizzing when summer hits in NYC or I take a tropical vacation. It also leaves almost no feeling or texture on your hair after it’s applied.

Every once in a while—usually in winter—my scalp gets a little dry, and this treatment saves me. After a long year of shopping, wearing things, and trying to convince you to trust me and buy things, 2019 is finally coming to an end. While I can honestly say I loved all the items I wore (and endorsed) over the course of the last 12 months, naturally, some had more of an impact than others—and, with that, garnered more compliments.

Okay, just what were they? With everything from shoes and bags to clothes and jewelry making the cut, I guess you could say it’s quite the range, and not just in terms of what type of items they are. From my favorite $56 sneakers to the investment coat I’m planning to wear for many winters to come, the price points are also a true high-low mix—right in line with my style.

Starting things off with the flattering tank I wore all spring and summer and this eye-catching Yuzefi bag. While this exact color of the bag is no longer available anymore, it was recently released in all-black, and I might even like it better than my own.

This blazer helped me look polished despite so many lazy days this year. It's also worth noting that I went one size up so that I could achieve an ever-so-slightly oversize look and continue to be able to wear it layered over sweaters in the colder months.

This might be one of my favorite outfits I wore all year. This Nanushka skirt is just so flattering and luxe-looking (despite being faux leather) and the Staud mules were not only lovely to look at, but they were also so comfortable. I can't believe they're 40% off and not sold out!

I think these boots speak for themselves, but I will say that they're especially perfect for NYC because of their lug soles and durable patent-leather material.

I tend to keep it pretty simple when buying designer bags, but when I saw this embellished Prada style a few months ago, I literally couldn't help myself from buying it instantly. I love how the jewels are green because it actually is so easy to match, and it's the perfect size for day or night. I've been using it nonstop ever since.

I will treasure this grandma-inspired Saks Potts coat until I am literally a grandma. It's just so fun and special, and while this exact style is now sold-out, their other coats all possess that same quality.

I'm extremely picky about jeans, so it was a pretty big deal with this Slvrlake pair became my new blue go-to.

Firstly, I cannot tell you how many times I've had to convince people that this blazer is, in fact, from Zara and not designer. Secondly, I have to give a major shout-out to these Agolde jeans I wore countless times this year.

This little green bag by Montunas is another on-sale item I urge you all to buy. It's literally a magnet for compliments and so easy to wear with anything.

Meet the perfect, non-boring black bikini top.

These sunglasses basically have not left my face since I got them back in January. That's how much I love them.

I love a kitten heel, but I really love a black kitten heel that goes with everything and makes all your basic outfits just a little more interesting. Mine are velvet and now sold out, but they're still available in black leather, and I'd highly recommend buying them—especially because they're 50% off!

Even when I wore five other necklaces at the same time, this half-pearl, half-chain one seemed to be the one people commented on the most.

I desperately "needed" a leather trench and am pleased to say I found the perfect one for me. It's definitely an investment piece, but I plan to wear this for years and years to come thanks to the trend's classic nature.

I needed a pair of simple, white sneakers to wear with any outfit, and when I found these, I could tell they were just perfect—and that was before I even knew the price.

These pants are so cool and luxe-looking in person that even my super-picky mom bought them.

It's boot time: From newer, trendier finds to sleek classics, today I'm putting a special seasonal spin on my Trust Me—Buy This series and making it all about boots—because it's that time of year, and they just happen to be some of my all-time favorite staples. I don't know about you, but the second the temperatures drop to below 60 every year, I get into ankle-boot mode and pretty much avoid all other footwear. After all, there’s nothing easier to style with my daily uniform of jeans and a tee, and they are the next best thing to sneakers when comfort is a priority. Plus, they give any outfit a polished touch.

So, since I’ve spent my fair share of time researching, buying, and, of course, wearing them, I figured I’d put some of that effort to even better use and share my favorite finds with you. See and shop the pairs that are currently in my closet below, as well as some newer styles I have my eye on.

This is actually my most recent (and maybe one of my favorite) purchases of the season. The zips and nylon material make them easy to wear while all the little details such as studs and orange lining make them stand out and feel special.
