Stepping out for one of London's most glamorous nights of the year, Sienna Miller arrived at the Serpentine Summer Party in Hyde Park yesterday evening in an outfit I've been desperate to discuss. If you'd asked me to describe Miller's personal style before last night, the word "boho" would have left my lips before you'd even finished the question. But for this particular occasion, she traded her free-spirited staples for a sleek slip dress-and-heels combination that Carrie Bradshaw herself would have wholeheartedly approved of.

Leaning into the naked dress trend that's become synonymous with red-carpet dressing, Sienna offered her own take on the look. Choosing a satin slip dress in a glossy champagne hue, the actor created an elevated barely-there effect with the complexion-matching dress.

Forgoing predictable black heels, Miller slipped into a pair of gold strappy sandals, adding a luminous, light-catching finish that complemented the sheen of her dress. Elegant and summery, the metallic footwear gave the ensemble a polished, party-ready feel, whilst her Ara Vartanian Desert diamonds added to the glamorous energy.

Avoiding seasonal stereotypes, Miller layered a Conner Ives fur-trimmed silk jacket in the softest shade of green over the ensemble. Comfortable thanks to leg-grazing denim and breathable courtesy of foot-baring shoes, you'll find me wearing this two-piece on all but the drizzliest of summer days. Even with tonnes of hair tools such as hot brushes and curling wands at my disposal as a beauty editor, I actually can't stand my hair looking too "done". Created by legendary hairstylist Sam McKnight MBE (who has worked on everyone from Princess Diana to Kate Moss and Sienna Miller), this texturising mist adds the perfect amount of grit to lengths, boosting volume and texture even in the finest of hair. McKnight was inspired by the effortless looks he's created on Kate Moss, and designed this product with her in mind to help us create the same undone looks at home.

In the above video, McKnight uses it on Sienna Miller, flipping her hair upside down and misting through for effortlessly texturised lengths. Alexa Chung also counts herself as a fan, having previously called it "a gig in a can" for her signature dishevelled waves. It's cool-girl hair in a bottle.

If there's one celebrity we all flock to for beauty inspiration on the Who What Wear UK beauty desk, I think we can collectively agree it's Sienna Miller. However, having just finished my second bottle of P-Tiox, I can absolutely vouch for its results, and I've also had several skincare experts sing its praises to me, too. I've not had any Botox for six months, and where I'd normally see the fine lines creep back around my eyes, they're softer and far less noticeable than they were pre-treatment. Like any good journalist, I got my hands on the fragrance immediately and have been wearing it nonstop for the past week. Interestingly enough, I've had more compliments on my perfume this week than I did the whole of 2025.

So, what does Thé Noir 29 smell like? If I had to describe it in three words, I'd say rich, dark and sensual. It has this depth and complexity that makes it smell so expensive. The fragrance opens on notes of bergamot and bay leaves, creating a fresh, herbaceous quality that instantly draws you in. However, once it settles on the skin, a heart of cedar wood and vetiver takes centre stage, before this chic, woody aroma is met by a base of smoky black tea leaves. Notes of sweet fig dominate the senses throughout, making it all the more alluring.

Whilst I've been wearing it both day and night to really put it through its paces, I would definitely reserve this perfume for special evenings with friends or loved ones. It's a real stand-out scent; however, thanks to the fresh, earthy element, it manages to be heady without feeling overwhelming. That being said, the longevity is incredible, which has definitely played a part in the non-stop compliments I've had since wearing this fragrance.

It's not every day that you get to sit down with Sienna Miller. However, a few months ago, a work opportunity with Sienna herself came up that I simply could not say no to. I was lucky enough to chat with the star (stay tuned for the full interview) and ask her all of my burning beauty questions.

This is easily one of my favourite Diptyque scents of all time. Baies means berries in French, so you'd probably expect this candle to smell juicy and sweet, but what I love about it is that it's also fresh and green, described by the brand as "fresh-picked blackcurrants, some still with leaves and stems." It has an earthy element that makes any room feel instantly revitalised, alongside undertones of rose that add a rich, expensive-smelling element.

In my opinion, this candle could work absolutely anywhere in the house. I currently have one burning in my living room, and it's making my entire flat smell like a luxurious Parisian hotel.

The Packaging

Diptyque candles are as beautiful to look at as they are to burn. Yes, they are one of the more expensive options on the market (we actually count them as one of the best luxury candles ever), but the great thing is that once you've finished the candle itself, you can clean out the vessel and use it as decoration. I have a couple of empty candles in my flat, and I like to use them to store cotton wool and cotton buds in my bathroom. In fact, whenever my friends come over, they always comment on how chic it looks.

Lifting inspiration directly from said archive, the new Gucci Giglio has been imagined as an homage to the city of Florence, as well as to pay respect to the “giglio” (Italian for lily flower), which has been an emblem of the city since the Renaissance.

The Giglio features an all-over interlocking double-G monogram pattern, plus classic red and green striped webbing trims, recalling the Italian ancestry, equestrian legacy and fine-luggage heritage of the brand. It’s a large shopper shape with a rounded cut-out handle, which flows with the silhouette of the bag and its trim. This makes it wearable on the shoulder, in the crook of the arm or simply by holding the handle. Unstructured, with a soft, malleable feel, the Giglio feels plush, sumptuous and easy to grab and throw your daily items into.

It has a single hidden magnetic closure inside and is complemented with a detachable pouch in matching fabric for small, loose items. I chose to test-drive the Medium Brown GG iteration: a rich, nutty brown in a velvety-suede fabrication, lined with a cotton-canvas twill. My Review of the Gucci Giglio

As far as iconic handbag labels go, Gucci has always been high up there. Having long been an admirer of the brand and owning a few of its styles over the years, I was excited to take this brand-new model for a spin. When I first saw the Giglio on the runway, what struck me initially was its all-over monogram, oversized shape and distinctive sporting stripes, all of which are synonymous with the brand. This potent mix of House codes means it is unmistakably and timelessly Gucci. I, for one, love these accents and how they add an expensive-looking, runway-inspired and vintage-leaning allure (my holy grail) to an otherwise understated outfit.

I took the Giglio on a Sunday-afternoon jaunt through London's ultra-stylish Marylebone neighbourhood, popping into shops, a café, public gardens and my favourite florist. For my outfit, I took cues from Sienna Miller and Suki Waterhouse, reaching for a classic pair of blue denim jeans, my trusty suede Gucci Horsebit loafers, a white tee and a cashmere crew neck, finished with a boxy green blazer and oversized aviators, from yes, you guessed it, Gucci. This sort of outfit is classic "me": tailored but casual, sharp but easy and could easily have been transported from, say, the '70s or '90s, but still stylish now and (I say, confidently) for years to come. The bag felt like a natural addition to this ensemble, adding a retro flair but aiding my busy, city-based, day-to-night needs.

Its oversized shape also harks back to the Y2K era of the "ludicrously capacious bag", seen on every starlet and It girl of the time (I'm looking at you, Paris, Nicole et al.), which, as a millennial, is one of my eternal style references. I also adore its maximalist-meets-minimalist charm. Yes, it's big, bold and a little bit head-turning, but it's also luxurious in texture, classic in colour and pattern and super practical. The big ol' fashion dial is slowly but surely swinging back to loud luxury, having been quiet for quite some time now. The Gucci Giglio sits in both camps quite confidently; I believe both pared-back dressers and those who like to style themselves more boldly can equally find common ground with this bag.

As someone with a lot of stuff and a desire to carry it with me at all times, seven days a week, the Giglio really does fit the bill. Holding my laptop, book, wallet, sunglasses case, AirPods and various other accoutrements, this bag really can house it all, and quite comfortably, too. The thick straps are reinforced with the webbed trim, so as much as the bag is relatively unstructured and light, it has a grab-and-go quality I appreciate. The straps allow for over-the-shoulder wear, which is great when you need to be hands-free. I also quite like the look of tucking the whole bag under the upper arm, and this is quite possible given how soft and supple it is. Otherwise, hanging from the crook of my arm felt natural, as did swinging the bag from the straps in one hand.

All in all, I really enjoyed my time with the Giglio. Its nostalgic charm, modern ease and everyday practicality tick so many boxes for me, and its colour and finishes will give my Monday-to-Friday looks an expensive edge, as well as my off-duty weekend 'fits. It's the kind of bag I know will work with dresses, much like on the runway, as well as suiting, separates, skirts and jeans. The house of Gucci has always pioneered individuality, cutting-edge style and progressive ideas in fashion, always through its classic, archival lens. This is a sentiment which allows for playful styling and constant re-invention with the Giglio; it's not a bag that takes itself too seriously, and I'd be excited to explore investing in this bag in the near future for a daily dose of iconic, timeless and heritage spirit, as well as endless styling possibilities.

Luckily, Gucci has well over 100 years under its belt, with its first store opening in Florence way back in 1921. By today's standards, Gucci still reigns supreme, and with Demna Gvasalia (previously creative director at Balenciaga and co-founder of Vetements), now firmly in the driving seat, the fashion world is excited to see how he takes the heritage house forward, particularly with bags, shoes and leather goods—Gucci's defining calling cards.

In terms of the Giglio, you may be wondering if it's really worth the price tag. Remember, this is a luxury item, so careful consideration and thoughtful mulling over are necessary before parting with your hard-earned cash. If there are two celebrities that I will happily take all of the fashion and beauty recommendations from, it's Sienna Miller and Alexa Chung. There's no denying that both of these women are effortlessly chic, and I'm always trying to emulate their laidback hair and makeup looks. We all know that the key to a good makeup look is the best skincare products, so when I heard whisperings in the industry that both Sienna and Alexa were fans of this £22 French pharmacy retinol (rumour has it Sienna was recommended it by Alexa herself), I knew I had to give it a go. I know what you're thinking: this product doesn't exactly give off luxury vibes. In fact, it wouldn't look out of place in my local pharmacy. But it's this unassuming nature that makes it even more appealing in my opinion. Forget the need for lavish packaging or a ridiculously high price tag, as the formula speaks for itself. Below, I've detailed what makes this retinol stand out from the rest, and I've even given it a go myself to see if the French skincare product will give me a little bit of that Parisian glow.

The Formula

This product is a pharmaceutical-grade retinol cream that contains 0.12% of retinol esters, a very mild form of vitamin A. It works to speed up cell turnover, which in turn can help with skincare concerns such as fine lines, pigmentation and blackheads.

Not only do I love the fact that it's gentle on the skin, but as someone who has tried a lot of retinol products over the years, what I love about this formula is how hydrating it feels. It has a balmy, almost ointment-like texture (it reminded me a lot of Vaseline), which scared me a little bit at first, as I thought it would be really greasy. However, it sinks in pretty quickly and, unlike other retinol products, doesn't leave you with that dry, stripped sensation.

The Application

I applied this product in the evening as I would any other retinol, using a small amount to see how my skin would react. As mentioned, I was a little shocked by the formula at first, but I really liked how this blended into my skin.

What's really interesting is that some people say that this retinol doesn't need to be followed by moisturiser, thanks to the richer texture. I still chose to follow up with my usual serum and night cream, as when testing retinols in the past, I have often woken up with dry, flaky skin. However, after using this, my skin felt silky soft, which was a welcome relief.

The Verdict

Honestly? I can see why people are obsessed with this product. It's unlike any other retinol I have tried. It feels gentle and hydrating, and although it can take a while to see changes in the skin, I already feel like my complexion looks more radiant.

Here’s something I’ll never quite understand: why fashion people default to blue denim when black exists.

Demanding smart-casual attire, Wimbledon goers showcased a number of different looks that perfectly exude easy summer elegance, however, unlike previous years, I noticed that the best-dressed attendees did not rely heavily on fleeting trends. Spotted yesterday in a Ralph Lauren crochet crop top, white tiered midi skirt and coin belt, the actress proved once again that she can dress up for an occasion while staying true to her boho chic aesthetic. Years in fashion have taught me that mastering the art of travel dressing is no small feat.

Whilst comfort is always a priority in my day-to-day wardrobe, it becomes even more crucial when navigating the high step count and many hours of waiting around that are tediously synonymous with a day of travel. So, it’s no surprise that it’s been popping up on some of the most stylish A-listers in recent weeks. Inspired by this chic and versatile pairing, I’ve tracked down six chic celebrity looks featuring short jackets and wide-leg jeans to inspire my own wardrobe. From cool-girl tailoring to casual, off-duty vibes, these outfits prove that this combination is the ideal way to step into the new season in style.

Style Notes: I've long looked to Sienna Miller for styling inspiration and I don't think this will change anytime soon. As two of fashion's major heavyweights, Sienna Miller and Jennifer Lopez have a keen understanding of the season's most relevant trends.

Despite their distinct personal styles—Miller often gravitates towards a floaty, boho aesthetic, whilst Lopez is drawn to bolder pieces and more fitted silhouettes—there are moments when their fashion choices overlap. When that happens, you know you've come across a trend in the making.

This time, the crossover came in the form of a once-forgotten denim trend that's been out of rotation for years. Whilst frayed-hem jeans used to dominate denim racks, the past few years have seen them quietly conquered by neater styles, perhaps because they were so often associated with skinny jeans. As skinnies waned in popularity, so too did the rough-edged detail that frequently accompanied them.

Reviving the look for winter 2024, Miller stepped out in mid-wash blue horseshoe jeans featuring the nostalgic frayed hem detail. Paired with a cosy knit and comfortable clogs, her off-duty outfit felt effortlessly relaxed, with the undone hems adding to the laid-back energy.

Taking a more formal approach to her frayed-denim styling, Lopez wore her high-waisted, floor-skimming pair in a cool-blue shade with a white button-down, longline trench coat and heels. With an Hermès Birkin in hand and oversized sunglasses, Lopez established that the trend can also work for more formal or office-appropriate looks.

If you're thinking about trying this trend yourself, you might be tempted to grab a pair of scissors to create your own frayed hems—something I'm certainly guilty of doing in the past. However, as I eventually learnt, it’s best to invest in a ready-frayed pair if you want to nail the look without running the risk of ruining your favourite jeans.

Several years back when everyone was wearing frayed-hem jeans, it didn't really feel like a trend. When shopping, a lot of jeans I'd see just had frayed hems, and everyone else was wearing them, so that's what I bought. As time passed, finished hems became the norm on the market, and frayed hems fell by the wayside. Frayed hems weren't something I thought of as being "out," though. I just stopped thinking about them. This brings me to Sienna Miller.

Last week in London, Miller was photographed wearing a casual outfit while out and about, and you guessed it—she was wearing frayed-hem jeans. Her jeans were a slightly cropped pair made of medium-wash denim, and she wore them with an oversize brown sweater and Birkenstock Boston Clogs. The effortlessly cool look made me realize my former affection for frayed-hem jeans, and I'm inspired to wear them with my own Birkenstock Boston Clogs in the near future.

If anyone can set the scene for a new trend in the middle of the season, it has to be Sienna Miller.

Stepping out for lunch in New York accompanied by an equally stylish-looking Jennifer Lawrence, Miller's ensemble caught my attention for a few reasons: her on-trend choices, yes, but also the fact that she chose to wear them with a boot style that's barely had a look in this winter.

This season has seen the moto-inspired biker boot serve as one of the biggest boot trends of the season, and in terms of practicality, it's definitely the main player. But whilst Miller might start trends, she's one celebrity I can always count on to dress for herself and not be dictated to by what people around her are wearing. This is why I wasn't all that surprised to see her reaching for a pair of hiking-style boots instead.

I'd never go as far as to say that hiking boots are unstylish or passé, but it is fair to say they aren't quite as "trendy" as many of their counterparts. But this hasn't deterred brands, nor indeed, Miller. In fact, I've started to notice more and more updated iterations that feature colourful laces, glossy exteriors and undeniably chic silhouettes that make them a breeze.

Wearing hers with the Miro Relaxed Barrel-Shaped Jeans (£340) from Citizens of Humanity, a warm-looking leather jacket, an oversized tote and a beige bucket hat, Miller's outfit tapped into several trends whilst remaining typically relaxed. Taking a break from the straight-leg or baggy jeans that have dominated the wardrobes of fashion people over the past few seasons, she chose a pair of sculptural horseshoe jeans to wear with her chunky lace-up boots.

Hugging the waist before flaring out at the knees and tapering back in towards the ankles, horseshoe jeans have been a huge hit in fashion circles this winter, and with the silhouette populating the spring/summer 2025 runways back in September, suffice it to say we're going to see much, much more of them next year, too.
