It's only the first month of 2022, but we've already had plenty of fun celebrity news to keep us entertained. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had a highly publicized engagement (where her unique two-stone ring stole the show), while Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child. Now, may I bring your attention to another cute moment? Romee Strijd and Laurens van Leeuwen just got engaged in Switzerland, and the photos look like they're straight from a fairytale.

Strijd shared the news on Instagram, and I immediately scrolled to the photo of her ring: a round-cut diamond on a thin gold band. Von Leeuwen custom-designed the ring with Ring Concierge. The company's founder, Nicole Wegman, released a statement with more details on the stunning piece of jewelry: "The couple had a trip planned to Switzerland to celebrate their 12th anniversary so Laurens decided that was the perfect opportunity to surprise Romee with her dream ring," Wegman said. "He selected a Round Brilliant Cut because they are as timeless as it gets and are cut to maximize sparkle. Next, Hailey Bieber just wore the 2022 trend I'm replacing skinny jeans with. 

In case you haven't noticed, there have been a lot of first-time model moms this year, including Emily Ratajkowski and Karlie Kloss. Now Romee Strijd is the latest to give birth to her first child and her announcement couldn't have been any sweeter. The Dutch model and Victoria's Secret Angel revealed that her new baby girl's name is Mint. How cute is that?

"Mint van Leeuwen ~ feeling so blessed to finally hold you in my arms," Strijd captioned her photo. "We are so in love with you!!" She posted an image of her breastfeeding her new baby girl, and the photo has quickly gone viral with over one million likes and tens of thousands of comments. But Victoria's Secret Angel Romee Strijd just wore a pair of Nike trainers that have been referred to as "beautiful," and shoppers are smitten. The trainers have great reviews so far on Nike's site, where Strijd's tan pair is sold out in many sizes. Aside from "beautiful," the woven sneakers are also super lightweight with side venting allowing for airflow (perfect for when summer comes around), and the "generously padded" footbed is to die for in the comfort stakes.

The number of cool, covetable sneakers to hit the market this year was overwhelming, to say the least. Practically every day a fresh new style, cool color, or collaboration presented itself, and Nike sneakers were undoubtedly at the top of the aforementioned covetable heap.

Naturally, much of our sneaker inspiration in 2017 came in the form of stylish celebrities like model (and Victoria's Secret Angel) Romee Strijd. This summer, Strijd stepped out in a pair of woven Nikes that instantly caught our eye. We were even more intrigued when we saw that Nordstrom's description of the sneakers referred to them as "beautiful."

Soon after Strijd wore them and we called them out, the sneakers sold out in her pretty, versatile tan hue. But luckily Nike has since released them in a slew of other pretty colors like pink, navy, and gray, and we highly suggest getting a pair for yourself while you still can.

Last night marked the debut airing of the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. And like many of you who gathered together with friends and family to watch the epic lingerie extravaganza, several of the VS models who walked in the show last week in Shanghai met up once more in New York City to watch themselves on the big screen.

Of course, the viewing party looks the models donned for the evening were just as stylish as those worn to the after-party. Bella Hadid walked yesterday's pink carpet in a daring red latex dress, featuring a thigh-high front-slit and lace-print detailing. First and foremost, here's what we love about the current crop of leggings at Zara (aside from their affordability): Most of them don't look like leggings. And if you're trying to get away with wearing leggings as pants, that's a good thing.

One pair, in particular, that we've had our eye on since they arrived in stock earlier this fall are Zara's ultra-flattering Checked High Waist Leggings ($70), which feature ankle slits and a button-front waist. We had the chance to chat with Romee Strijd at the Levi’s 50th-anniversary event celebrating its Trucker jacket, where she shared her go-to outfit combination to wear with a jean jacket.
