Good news for retro-sneaker lovers: Nike has officially entered the 2026 chat. Earlier this year, Nike rereleased one of its beloved archival styles from 1971: the Moon Shoe. The very first makeup product that made my heart skip was a pot of lilac eye shadow. I don't remember the specific shade or even the brand name (it most likely came from the drugstore), but I can recall exactly how I felt when I dusted it across my lids: elegantly grown-up, ethereal, and just so pretty. Listen. I'm not here to bash leopard-print accessories. In fact, I recently wrote a story about how the leopard bags that Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow wore in the '90s are trendier than ever right now. I’m a big fan of animal print, and as you might know, so is Rihanna. She was just spotted wearing yet another iconic winter look, including a fur coat, a pair of brown pants straight off the Loewe runway, and a pair of shoes that were not snakeskin, not zebra print, nor leopard print. I'll be the first to say it. I love a basic outfit. Plain, simple, and sleek are always top of mind when I'm getting dressed for the day. However, I've been feeling bored with my basic outfits lately and have been ruminating about ways to make them look more elegant. Congratulations are in order for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who revealed that they are pregnant with their third child together just minutes before the Met Gala.
