With Memorial Day coming up on Monday, there’s no shortage of sales, and my aunt asked me to shop the Gap, Madewell, and Old Navy ones for her. Old Navy’s sale ends tomorrow with 50% off everything, while Gap and Madewell’s markdowns run through May 26.

Starting with Gap, the retailer is offering 40–60% off and is one of the best places for summer basics. During the last sale, I picked up a handful of the most comfortable underwear I own from the Breathe line, which is currently on sale for $10 each or five for $35. I also sent her a few sundresses and swimwear options.

With an Erewhon smoothie in hand, yoga mat in the tote, and a cute workout set on, L.A. It girls always know to show up to a studio class. Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of content around activewear, from the theory that ‘matching set girlies’ don’t get tired to thrifting Y2K athletic wear and an emphasis on nonrestrictive workout wear.

I've taken this shift in algorithm as my sign to get moving. I commute into the city, so don't get me wrong, I do a lot of walking, but I've missed having a dedicated space for working out. So, I decided to sign up for a Pilates membership. Quickly into this new journey, I realized my exercise drawer was lacking. So, I went on a deep dive into the best leggings brands. And that's exactly what's coming to you below.

After taking notes from L.A. It girls like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, I've found the best leggings of 2026. The usual suspects are here: ALO and Vuori, but pay close attention, and you may discover a new favorite.

The Best Legging Brands of 2026

Adanola

My pick: Adanola Ultimate Legging

How I tested: Reformer Pilates class.

My review: If you're a Kendall Jenner fan, then you've probably heard of Adanola. If not, let me give you a quick breakdown. Adanola is a British-based activewear brand that specializes in high-quality, high-functional everyday essentials. Loved by celebs like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kaia Gerber, and Jenner for its expensive look (did I mention they are under $70) and cool-girl appeal, it's clear why after one day of wear.

I wore them with the Seamless Zip-Up (another fan-favorite) and immediately felt so chic. I finally understood the hype around the matching workout set. I felt unstoppable. Soft to the touch, these high-waisted leggings moved with me throughout class, whether on the reformer or off. I appreciate the lightweight design and the opaque coverage. These aren't leggings restricted to the gym; they can easily be styled for a post-Pilates coffee run with sneakers and a track jacket or for Jenner with a pair of The Row flats and a leather carryall.

Size range: XXS to XXXL. I'm wearing a size S.

Sizing tip: I recommend sizing up. While the four-way stretch is forgiving, I found the medium compression and high-rise waistband to be slightly tight.

My pick: Vuori AllTheFeels Legging

How I tested: Vinyasa yoga class

My review: When I am in a yoga class, I do not like wearing heavy-compression leggings. I want to feel supported, never restricted. That's why I was excited to try Vuori's lightweight support. The first thing I noticed when testing out the leggings was how soft they felt; they are made from Vuori's own BlissBlend material, which is made from 75% recycled fabrics. I was grateful for the 4-way stretch when going through my flow. If you're like me and like to shop by activity, Vuori curates a list of the best pieces for different activities. For my Pilates and yoga people, I think The AllTheFeels Collection is a great place to start. PS, Wear with the Strappy Back Tank for a complete set.

Size range: XXX to XXL. I'm wearing a size S.

Inseam: Short 22"; Regular 24"; Long 27"

Colors: Eleven. I'm wearing Eggshell Blue. With lighter, more pastel leggings, I always struggle finding the right undergarment to wear with them. Through lots of trial and error, I found that a seamless thong works best for that no-show look. This is certainly something to consider when deciding on what color leggings to purchase.

Sizing tip: These are designed with breathable, lightweight support. I found the leggings slightly loose. I'd be interested to see how a size XS fits. In the product description, Vuori recommends that if you are between sizes, size down. I would say the same.

FP Movement

My pick: FP Movement Never Better 7/8 Length Leggings

How I tested: Restorative yoga class.

My review: After a long day in the city, all I want is a relaxing workout. That is when I go to a peace and restorative yoga class where we hold poses for an extended period of time to let your body nd musles relax. For this type of practice, I prefer a softer, low-impact support. The FP Movement Never Better Collection provides exactly that. They're made from a matte material, so I'm certain these flexible leggings will make a recurrent appearance at my yoga classes. I doubled down on stretchy activewear and paired the leggings with FP Movement's Smooth Square Neck Cami from the Go To Collection. Back to the leggings, the high-rise silhouette was flattering, and the hidden front pocket was the perfect spot to hold my jewelry during class. Not to mention, they are under $100. Shout-out to the capri version: the Never Better Mini Leggings.

Size range: XS to XL. I'm wearing a size XS.

Inseam: 24.5"

Colors: Eleven. I opted for a muted pink. But similar to my Vuori review, I might think twice about a light-colored pair of leggings. If someone knows of the best underwear to wear with leggings, let me know.

Sizing tip: When it comes to Free People sizing, I always size down. The same goes for the Never Better Leggings.

How I tested: All-day errands and travel.

My review: In only a few weeks, these are already shaping up to be my most-worn leggings. From all-day errand wear to travel, the flexible construction of the On Sense Tec fabric is a dream. Yes, they are chic (especially when worn with the Studio Long-T, ideal for low-impact training). The On design team took their time crafting a pair of leggings for studio workouts like yoga and Pilates. They didn't miss a step—a phone-sized side pocket, no front seams, and a sculpting high waist fit. Another legging is not limited to the studio; these can be worn more outside of class for a model off-duty look.

Size range: XS to XXL. I'm wear a size S.

Inseam: 23"

Colors: Six. I'm wearing Black.

Sizing tip: True to size. I found the close fit incredibly flexible and the high waist supportive.

ALO

My pick: ALO 7/8 High-Waist Airlift Legging, $134

How I tested: Soto Method class with Blue Nile.

My review: I was invited by Blue Nile to take my first-ever Soto Method class, and let me tell you, there was no other pair of leggings I would wear than the ALO 7/8 High-Waist Airlift. Those three-pound weights seem innocent at first, but after a few rounds, my biceps were screaming. The compressive fit was exactly what I needed for this high-intensity workout.

I've tested out both the leggings in Black and Light Provence Blue. Black is a traditional legging color that works well for both studio classes and errands, but the light blue is such a fun alternative. Keep in mind what I've said about lighter colors; you'll want to find the right kind of undergarment. ALO is another Kendall Jenner favorite, and I have to say there's a reason. The quality is visible in the construction, feel, and wear. I styled them with the Ribbed Prosper Tank and the Cropped Accolade Crewneck.

My pick: Old Navy PowerSoft Boundless 7/8 Leggings

How I tested: Reformer Pilates class.

My review: When anyone mentions leggings, one of the first brands that comes to mind is Old Navy. Only $40, with a good chance you'll find them on sale, these are a must, in my opinion, when it comes to activewear. The look is on par with that of any celeb-backed brand. At first thought, you might not think Old Navy and activewear, but yes. Even our own L.A. It girl, ChiChi Offor, reviewed the activewear and was in awe of the collection, noting, "There was such a robust selection of items, including but not limited to leggings, jackets, tops, sweats, and so much more. On top of that, just about every style I clicked into was available in sizes XXS up to a 4X. Yes, you heard that correctly: The plus-size options were definitely there, along with tall and petite-size items."

More on my pick. The compression the leggings give is supportive without being restrictive, the sturdy fabrication not only looks luxe, but feels it, and the deep side pockets were a bonus.

Paris Hilton starred in Old Navy's new "It's Old Navy" campaign, channeling her signature early 2000s nostalgia alongside her mom Kathy Hilton, reality TV stars Ciara Miller and Rob Rausch, and influencers Erin Miller and Eric Sedeño. The shoot takes place at a backyard BBQ and pool party and is set to her hit song "Stars Are Blind," which marks its 20th anniversary. Each piece worn is priced under $55 and pays homage to the brand's heritage through wardrobe staples like the Old Navy flag T-shirt.

In a press release, Old Navy Chief Creative Officer Zac Posen shared, "Paris Hilton is the perfect summer muse introducing our new campaign 'It's Old Navy,' celebrating the joy of summer and spilling the secret that great style is for everyone. It's two icons coming together, Paris and Old Navy. She embodies so much of what we love: bold style and dressing for joy. I've known Paris since we were teenagers in New York. She is a fearless businesswoman and incredible mother, always true to herself, and confident."

I spoke with Hilton about the campaign, her wardrobe, summer 2026, and "Stars Are Blind."

How you would describe this collaboration with Old Navy?

I was so excited when I heard that Zac Posen was with Old Navy and they wanted to do a fun, iconic campaign for the summer also celebrating my song "Stars Are Blind." It was so fun as well working with my mom together on set, and I love the campaign. All the outfits are so fun and colorful, and it just feels like summer. The collection is so cute, and there are so many fun pieces for everyone in the whole family. There are just so many cute things that people can come in and get for summer.

If you could only pick one item from the collection, what would it be?

It'd have to be between the matching set I'm wearing or the pink dress that I wore in the campaign commercial. It's so cute, and I think that all the girls are gonna be in love with it.

The campaign is set in a backyard BBQ and pool party. What does a Paris Hilton BBQ/pool party look like in real life?

In real life, I am the queen of throwing parties, especially at my new home. [It's] such an incredible place to entertain, and for my pool parties, it's so much fun because I have my water slide and, like, the golf course and the pink tennis court—everything in the backyard. So it's really fun just to get my kids together with all their cousins and invite the whole family and our friends and just have a beautiful lunch. There's a lot of pink and sparkles and amazing music and vibes. It's just so special to create all these memories together as a family. I love entertaining at our house.

The collection is made up of wardrobe staples. What are some of your most-worn wardrobe staples?

I love pieces that are just easy to style, like a statement dress or oversize sunglasses. I love matching sets. I love wearing monochrome. I love to be comfortable, and I always just love adding a sparkle to whatever I wear.

When you think of summer style, what comes to mind, and how does that show up in your own personal style?

I feel that summer style should feel playful and confident. I really love bright colors, beautiful swimwear, matching sets, and pieces that are just beautiful and chic. In the summer, I just like it also to feel a little more relaxed, especially when I'm at home with my babies.

Do you have a trend prediction for summer 2026 or a trend that you're loving right now?

I love just seeing that people are really having fun with fashion again—like with the color, sparkle, and denims. I love all of that 2000s-vibe energy but styled in a new way. Also, I think it's adorable just seeing everyone really embracing these baby-doll, romantic looks or coquette style. It's just so girly.

What is on your summer 2026 bucket list?

I love just being with my babies and my husband and just being at home. Or we love traveling, going on boats. I'm excited for all of my concerts this summer and me headlining a lot of festivals, especially during Pride around the world. I can't wait just to perform. I love connecting with my fans through my music. Yeah, I'm just excited for summer with family and my music.

Obviously, "Stars Are Blind" is so iconic. I remember listening to that song on repeat when it came out, and now, for it to be celebrating a milestone anniversary is so crazy. I was curious—when you hear it today, what does it make you feel?

Thank you. I'm so happy you love it, and it just makes me feel just emotional and so grateful and just so happy that the song has brought so many people so much happiness. It's really just special to me how much it means to people, and so many people have told me it's been their wedding song or the song they walk down the aisle to, or it's a song that's gotten them through tough times. That always really touches my heart, and it's really incredible when I perform it onstage and just look into the crowd and see everyone singing it back to me everywhere. It's just such a beautiful connection, and it just makes me proud to have such a timeless and iconic pop song.

What do you feel like the song is about, and has your understanding of it changed over time?

"Stars Are Blind" is about love and being vulnerable and that feeling when you're just completely caught up in the moment, and it's just so timeless. Over time, it's just made me realize even more what a powerful song it is. I feel like I'm such a purveyor of happiness and joy, and I feel like when you hear that song, it just immediately uplifts your mood. It's just amazing to see every generation really love and connect with the song on such a deep level, and it's just such a classic.

I was also thinking about the trends and how they're so cyclical. Is there any trend that you remember from that era of when the song came out that you feel is something that you're still into today?

Definitely—I invented Y2K fashion. Just to see so many people love it and be inspired by it… I just love tracksuits, oversize sunglasses, bedazzled everything, slogan tees. Everything that I wore back then I still love today. That era was the most fun time in fashion, so I love that people can feel free to embrace themselves and who they truly are and just be free and have fun with it.

Are there any current songs you think will have that same staying power as "Stars Are Blind"?

Definitely anything by Sia. I love her so much. She's one of my best friends, and it was such an honor to have her be the executive producer and writer of my whole album. I'm just so grateful to her for everything, and I am so proud of my album with her and just feel like she's the greatest songwriter I've ever had. All of her songs are just timeless, iconic bops.

Last week, I flew from Los Angeles to Park City to spend three fun-filled days with Old Navy—celebrating the launch of some of their key categories—activewear, denim, and dresses. I've always been a huge fan of Old Navy's jeans—it's my (not so) best kept secret for chic and affordable denim, so I was excited to try some of its new-season pieces amid the backdrop of snow-capped mountains in the charming ski resort town.

Luckily, Old Navy provided some exceptional activities to test-drive its latest styles, including a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bobsled at Utah's Olympic Park—an exhilarating experience I will not be forgetting anytime soon! Other adventures included swimming in geothermal hot springs in Utah's most iconic natural landmarks, as well as a lively line-dancing class, an incredible Old Navy drone show in the star-lit skies, and plenty of stylish dinners to boot. And of course, I got a sneak peek of some of its most exciting new-season pieces at its incredible denim styling suite set up at the Waldorf Astoria, Park City. Sara Holme, Old Navy's head of design, explains what's in store for 2026: "Our spring collection marks a new chapter for Old Navy. We are introducing elevated novelty denim and fashion-forward dresses, brought to life with intricate embroidery, floral prints, and standout details. It is our most directional and exciting assortment to date.”

Day 1

Travel Day and Check-In at the Hotel

For the plane ride over to Park City and the afternoon settling into the hotel, I snuggled this incredibly soft and comfortable sweatsuit featuring Old Navy's iconic Bounce Fleece (my first time trying it), and needless to say, I am now utterly obsessed. The half-zip sweatshirt and matching sweatpants are super soft and comfortable, with a smooth cooling finish. The dark brown color feels very of-the-moment and chic. I'm going to be honest, the pics on the site do not do this sweatsuit justice. It's so much chicer in person. It's officially my new favorite set to travel in, and I'm telling anyone who will listen to add it to their cart ASAP!

Dinner & a Show

For a beautiful barn dinner and the most spectacular drone show that evening, I wore an elegant black drop-waist maxi dress from Old Navy's latest collection. This dress is incredibly flattering—it features a chic boatneck silhouette with gorgeous ruching details throughout. It's super comfy too—made from the softest jersey-spandex fabric. This is the perfect LBD to have in your wardrobe year-round—easy to dress up or down—and you can wear it with sandals and boots alike.

Day 2

Bobsledding at Utah Olympic Park

For an epic day spent in the snow and bobsledding at Utah's Olympic Park, I chose cozy and comfy layers from Old Navy's activewear collection. This soft Bounce Fleece matching set comes in a rich-looking oatmeal heather hue, which I styled with cool snow boots and layered over the prettiest soft pink cutout top.

Dinner at Kaneo, Park City

A casual dinner at Kaneo in downtown Park City called for some chic and easy basics. I styled Old Navy's sleek High-Rise Rigid OG Loose jeans (they're so good!) with a white tank and relaxed black blazer and finished the look with a merlot-hued bag (which I will not hesitate to mention someone mistook for designer).

Day 3

The Crater at Homestead, Geothermal Hot Springs

Visiting one of Utah's most iconic natural landmarks, The Crater at Homestead, was an absolute highlight for me. The limestone dome with mineral-rich geothermal waters is over 10,000 years in the making. I dipped in with a charming red Old Navy bikini and layered up after with a chic striped tee, an Old Navy hoodie, and my favorite new windbreaker pants.

Denim Styling Suite

Old Navy's denim styling suite set up at the penthouse in the Waldorf Astoria was truly a feast for this fashion editor's eyes! It was amazing to see every single denim silhouette the brand offers right now and try each one for myself. My personal favorites? The High-Rise Baggy Wide-Leg and its brand-new Low-Rise Baggy Wide-Leg (which comes out in March). What makes Old Navy jeans so good? Sara Holme explains, "Our teams obsess over fit, fabric, and finish, combining trend-forward design with rigorous standards backed by decades of expertise and trusted partnerships so we can deliver thoughtfully designed pieces that feel premium at an unmatched value.”

I also tried on a whole host of new-season pieces to pair with the denim. This look was definitely one of my favorites. The canvas barn jackets are absolutely worth adding to your wardrobe—I got the chance to embellish mine with fun patches.

Line Dancing & Dinner

We finished the epic three-day itinerary in Park City with a fun evening of line dancing (which is actually much harder than it looks!). A light-wash double-denim look for the Western-themed evening was a must.

I've recently started my fitness journey. The first step: Find cute, affordable workout clothes. But that's proving to be harder than I thought. Until I came across a pair of $40 leggings that look and feel far more expensive. The leggings in question: the Old Navy Powersoft Boundless. IMO, the best activewear promotes movement and comfort without breaking the bank. Bonus if they look cool in a post–workout class selfie. These do just that.

Here, I'm wearing the Powersoft Boundless Leggings ($40) and the Powersoft Sports Bra ($30) in Dark Sepia. I've paired them with the Bounce Fleece Bomber Jacket ($55), zipped up halfway, and the Puff Active Tote ($35), which is spacious enough to hold my laptop, charger, wallet, and a change of clothes.
