I've been a beauty editor for 10 years, so I've heard and seen it all. I've researched almost every trendy ingredient, product, and technique. I've tested new treatments. I've seen social media become swamped with skincare advice from so many sources. Content creators! Brand founders! That old college classmate who insists she's discovered the secret to perfect skin that just so happens to be a serum that she sells in her spare time!

There's been one universal truth that's guided me through it all: The only way to block out the noise and find effective skincare advice is by going to the experts. I'm talking about qualified individuals who understand the science of skin and have years, if not decades, of hands-on practice working with it aka dermatologists and aestheticians.

There's no shortage of incredible experts to turn to, but lately, I've been dying to talk all things skincare with Ildi Pekar, licensed aesthetician, brand founder, and head of NYC's Ildi Pekar Wellness Studio. She's been a leading skin expert for over 20 years and is often referred to as the "supermodel aesthetician" because her client roster has included the glowing, sculpted faces of Miranda Kerr, Irina Shayk, and Ashley Park. Recently, I was finally able to ask her my burning questions, and boy did she deliver answers. First, what is your skincare philosophy?

I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, where I learned from a young age how important it is to care for your skin and keep it healthy. My philosophy is simple: Every treatment should be completely customized to your skin type, your lifestyle, and your needs.

Some of our clients have been with us for over 20 years—coming weekly—and they never receive the same treatment twice. I believe in being honest and building trust. When someone is on my table, they know they are in knowledgeable and caring hands.

We are always exploring new techniques and innovations, but we also respect traditional, time-tested methods. Combining the new with the old is where the magic happens. The goal is simple: to make you feel good, look good, and bring out the very best in your skin.

What's one thing you consistently see people getting wrong about skincare?

The biggest mistake I see is people chasing quick results. It happens all the time—too many products, too many treatments all at once. Skin is a living organ, and it doesn't respond well to that kind of overload. It needs rhythm, not a revolving door. Consistency is where the real magic happens, and the earlier you start respecting and caring for your skin, the more it will reward you over time.

Are there any specific ingredients you love or that you wish more people used in their routines?

Honey. Always honey. I am and will forever be a honey girl.

Honey has been used for thousands of years, and it still doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's antibacterial, deeply hydrating, full of enzymes and antioxidants, and it's endlessly versatile. You can mix it, mask with it, layer it. It belongs in everyone's cabinet. It's one of those ancient ingredients that modern skincare keeps trying to replace, and there's just no need.

On the flip side, are there any trendy ingredients you think are overhyped?

Of course—trends come and go. That's the nature of this industry. Right now, there are a few ingredients everywhere: PDRN (salmon DNA), exosomes, and NAD. Let me be clear. They're not bad ingredients. In fact, they can be very powerful when used correctly. The issue is not the ingredient itself; it's how it's being used and marketed.

These are highly sophisticated, expensive ingredients. They require proper sourcing, careful formulation, and very specific storage conditions. So when I see a salmon DNA serum for $9, it raises a red flag. It's often misleading, sometimes even mislabeling, and it creates unrealistic expectations for clients.

I also see formulations that are simply not well-balanced—too heavy, too sticky, or layered with too many actives. This can lead to irritation, breakouts, and a compromised skin barrier.

It's not about avoiding trends completely. It's about understanding them, respecting the science behind them, and using them in a thoughtful, professional way.

You're the supermodel aesthetician! Do you have any tips or tricks for replicating the supermodel glow at home?

First rule: Don't try anything new the night before a big event. Your skin should feel safe, not surprised. The night before, do a gentle exfoliation to smooth and refine. I love Sanitas Brightening Pads ($74). Then follow with a light hydrating mask, and let your skin rest.

In the morning, I don't cleanse. I want to keep all that hydration in the skin. I go straight in with a toner and really saturate the skin so it's slightly damp. While your skin is still damp, apply a lightweight serum—something gel based, never heavy oils. Now, this is where the magic happens. Take an ice cube and glide it over your skin in circular motions until your skin feels cold. The cold helps reduce inflammation, tighten the appearance of pores, boost circulation, and wake everything up. It instantly makes the skin look fresher and more even.

Once your skin is cold, go in with your favorite moisturizer and tap it in. Don't rub. I call it "piano fingers." Tapping helps push the product deeper, stimulates circulation, and gives that subtle lifted, plumped effect. (I'm sure you've heard of hot-and-cold treatments or fire and ice. This is a simple version of that at home.) The result? Skin that feels tighter, lifted, hydrated, and glowing. Give it a try. The result might be temporary, but it works every time.

Let's talk about seasonal skincare. A lot of people like to adjust their skincare routine with the seasons. Do you think this is necessary? If so, what would you suggest transitioning to for spring and summer specifically?

Your skin doesn't behave the same in January as it does in July. In the summer, everything should feel lighter. Your skin is exposed to heat and humidity, and it needs to breathe. What felt rich and comforting in the winter can start to feel heavy and congesting now. This is when I love bringing in vitamin C. It gives you that extra layer of antioxidant protection, especially when you're spending more time in the sun. It just makes sense.

If you're prone to dark spots or uneven pigmentation, [there are] two ingredients I keep coming back to. First, tranexamic acid is still my top pick. It's effective, it's reliable, and unlike a lot of brightening actives, it carries zero photosensitivity risk. Use it morning or night. Azelaic acid is another one I love for the same reason. It quietly does the work without making your skin sun-reactive. Day or night, it plays well.

SPF… I know not everyone loves it, but now is the perfect time to find one you actually enjoy wearing. The right SPF makes all the difference.

Outside of products, do you have any tips or tricks for achieving great skin in the spring and summer via lifestyle habits, techniques, etc.?

Spring and summer skin is really about letting go. The skin doesn't need more. It needs a reset. A simple seasonal deep cleanse can do more than layers of products ever will. Even a gentle peel—if done right—can feel like a quiet refresh rather than a treatment.

Somewhere along the way, "chemical peel" became a scary phrase. People picture redness, peeling skin, and hiding indoors for a week. That was then. Modern peels have evolved so much that you can walk out looking like you just had a really good facial—a little brightness, smoother texture, that gorgeous glow.

This time of year, it makes sense. Winter leaves skin dull and thick in a way no moisturizer quite fixes. A peel clears that away and gives you a cleaner slate going into spring. Your serums absorb better, and your skin feels easier to manage. It doesn't have to be aggressive to work.

But honestly, it's the small rituals that stay with me. Sometimes, I make tea—chamomile, ginger, or turmeric, whatever I feel drawn to. [I] freeze it and use it as an ice cube in the morning. It wakes up the skin.

Miranda Kerr is known for many things, including being a Victoria's Secret Angel, being the founder and CEO of Kora Organics, and being a health and wellness devotee. This list is made all the more impressive when you consider she's juggled it all with motherhood. (She's a parent to three boys.) So yeah, you could say that Kerr knows a thing or two about committing to little moments of self-care in the midst of a demanding day. 

On the eve of her 40th birthday, I caught up with the multi-hyphenate to talk about all things skincare, health, and wellness. And let me tell you—Kerr just might be my new beauty icon. She approaches life, and her routine, with quiet confidence and lighthearted humor.

Miranda Kerr's Wellness Essentials

For Kerr, like for so many of us, skincare is part of a self-care routine. Along with her go-to Kora Organics products, Kerr counts on little rituals to keep her calm and centered throughout her day, which usually starts before the sun rises. "I wake up between 5 and 5:30, so I'm up for an hour to an hour and a half before the kids get up," she says. "I really value that time in the morning. I try so hard to not check my email and all that and just go into my routine for myself, whether that is doing a workout in my bedroom or doing a 20-minute meditation." 

"I'll do my dry body brushing, which I love to wake me up and stimulate circulation," she continues. "I'll hop in the shower and do my skincare routine and make sure that I'm ready for the day ... like I've given back to myself for the day before it starts." 

After dry-brushing, Kerr heads to the kitchen for celery juice, which she drinks every morning. "I prep the juice the night before. I make sure that I cut and clean it, so in the morning, I just have to quickly make it fresh," she says. "It's a bit overwhelming when you've got three kids running around. You're trying to make breakfast, and you're also trying to make celery juice. … It's too much. The celery juice helps me with energy." 

Kerr continues to incorporate moments of self-care throughout the day by carrying a rose quartz crystal, burning palo santo ("You burn the palo santo, and it resets your whole energy"), and using the Theragun to relieve tight muscles. "I'll often get it out of my bag—I'm a big bag lady—and do it for like five minutes," she says.

She also sticks to herbal tea in an effort to avoid too much caffeine. "I love lemon balm tea with honey," she says. "Growing up in Australia, my parents were like, 'Let's have a cup of tea!' But those cups of tea add up to a lot of caffeine if you're having black tea. I love lemon balm because it's soothing and good for the digestive and nervous systems." 

It's not just tangible products that Kerr counts on to keep herself well. In true holistic fashion, she also focuses on her mindset. "We can look outside and say, 'I can't believe it's raining again.' Or we can be like, 'I love the rain. We really needed this. It feels so cozy.' It's our perspective, and only we can change that. If we change our perspective and we change our mindset, we can really change ourselves at the end of the day. We can [be] better. We can feel more vibrant and feel more alive." 

On the cusp of a landmark birthday, I suspected Kerr had been reflecting on her 30s, and I was curious how her habits and perspectives might have changed. "Sleep is more important to me now than ever. That's probably because… well, having kids. My husband and I would rather go to bed early, cuddle up, and wake up early with the kids, so that's definitely changed. I'm also more committed to exercise as I'm getting older, and strength training is something I’ve gotten into," she says. "I used to be more of a yoga and Pilates girl, but I can do both because, as you age, your muscles just aren't the same. I'm just trying to keep my skin and my muscles strong and also try to be as healthy as I can. At the same time, I think it's important to have fun, and the more gentle and kind you are with yourself, the more it reflects in your whole energy." 

I also suspected that she might even have some advice to offer those who are soon entering a new stage of life, and I was right. "The age of 27 to 30 is when you're going through your Saturn return," she says. "That's when I always say to people that it might feel like a lot at the time, but it's such an incredible time to let go of whatever is not serving you and step into the new that's coming. It's almost like everything gets turned upside down at that point, and then new things come. You'll notice, between 27 and 30, there'll be different shifts in people, whether they completely change jobs or move countries or move houses. … At the time, it might have felt really overwhelming, but they realize it was always for the better. I always say brace yourself for that." 

As for the biggest lesson she learned during her 30s, Kerr says it was learning to ask questions and to ask for help. "I grew up in a little country town in Australia," she says. "It wasn't a normal thing to reach out to people and be like, 'Can you help me?' I didn't want to impose on other people and their time. I wanted to do it all on my own, but it's important to realize you can't do it all on your own. It's important to ask for help. My husband taught me that. When we're younger, we feel like we have to know it all and it would be silly to ask that question, but no, if you don't understand, there's no point in pretending as you do. Just ask, 'Can you explain that?'" 

Kerr sums it up so succinctly: "Realize that, no matter what, there are going to be challenges in your life. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from. It's all part of growing. Embrace those challenges as opportunities to grow and learn. Don't sweat the small stuff."

In fact, she’s a life coach and a certified integrative health coach who has a deep passion for spreading her light in order to teach others how to spread theirs.

Although she’s an OG when it comes to clean skincare, she recently launched the Kora Organics bodycare line. In an oversaturated market of skincare brands, Kora Organics’ conception and ideation is intentional, and every product is unique as it pertains to inclusive wellness. I don’t know about you guys, but it’s a relief to hear about and consume a line that’s not only good for our skin but that is also good for our overall well-being.

At Create and Cultivate’s recent Wellness Means Business event, I got to sit down with the supermodel, supermom, and CEO to talk about all things wellness. Kerr’s passion for wellness is engrained in all of her products with the ultimate goal of reminding us that taking care of ourselves from the inside out is a major key when it comes to our health. But it doesn’t stop there. She was very candid about how mindfulness is necessary in her self-care routine, reminding us that "the power is with the present, and it’s important to try to stay where you are.” 

As someone who grew up watching her on the runway, I left our conversation loving her more than I already did as a child, and I was absolutely in awe of her powerful mindset. We talked about everything from the healing energy of crystals, the power of our thoughts, and our shared love for potatoes.

What is your wellness routine?

In the morning, I wake up at 5:00 a.m., and the babies sleep till 7:00 a.m., so it gives me enough time to give back to myself and fill my cup. I’m more of a night owl. I had to train myself to be a morning person. I have 32 ounces of water at room temperature, and I’ve been doing yoga and meditation since I was 18. I use this app Kundalini Lounge for a 12-minute yoga flow. I do it as a minimum to start. I’ll do that, and it gets me in a zone.

From there, I’ll do my workout from my bedroom. Sometimes, I get 30 minutes or 45 minutes in, and then I have my celery juice. It’s been a savior for me for the energy, detox, and my skin. The kids have celery juice, and I do a Medical Medium smoothie that’s a heavy-metal detox with wild blueberries. It has spirulina, banana, fresh orange juice, and it’s really good. Instead of giving them oatmeal, I make fresh oatmeal with oat milk and a banana in the blender, and I make pancakes out of that. Then I get them ready for school. That’s how my day starts, and when I come back, I’ll get into my work. … At the end of the day, I go on a family walk.

What’s your favorite workout?

I do the 45-minute workout. I do Tracy Anderson and Megan Roup. With Tracy’s workout, you can do online workouts, and it’s the same with Megan. That’s what I’m into at the moment. You can sculpt your arms and focus on your abs. If I can do 45 minutes, I will do Tracy. If I need a quickie ab or butt workout, I’ll do Megan Roup. Then obviously, yoga since I’ve been practicing since I was 18. I will have one session with my 11-year-old and one session with me. It’s a great grounding practice. 

You’ve talked about nurturing your mind as a form of self-care, so what does that look like for you?

Every thought affects us on a cellular level. It’s something that I’ve learned, but it’s also something I feel. We can choose our thoughts, and when we do, we can help transform our reality so we have the power over our lives. We need to remember that, which is why every single Kora product has a powerful word on the back. I try to connect the words with each product. Anything from love and beyond is where we want to be with our state of mind, and to get there, we have to practice forgiveness, acceptance, and peacemaking.

One of the products (mushroom cleanser) has "forgiveness” on the back of it. When you cleanse your skin, you’re cleansing your spirit. I do the peacemaking prayers while I’m cleansing my skin. It also contains essential oils to help soothe your skin and your senses. I’m very particular about what essential oils go with which products, what word is on the back, and which crystal is infused in the bottle. It’s a deeper layer of Kora. The [Milky Mushroom Cleansing Oil] has an essential oil blend that is anti-anxiety and very calming. It’s soothing for your skin and spirit. I’m thinking 360 all of the time with every single product. There’s also a Minty Mist that has palo santo that clears your energy as well as peppermint and an aquamarine crystal. 

Speaking of glowing from the inside out, what is your top beauty and wellness secret? Is there something you eat every day to glow?

Noni is something I’ve been drinking since I was 13. It’s full of over 100 vitamins and minerals. It works on a cellular level to normalize the cells. Kora makes the powder. It’s a certified-organic supplement that I take. It gives you natural energy, and it has prebiotics as well. 

How do you prioritize self-care?

Taking little moments to ground myself—even going outside and putting my hands out to feel the light of the sun. I take a second to connect with nature. I take my shoes off and put my feet in the ground to be connected to the earth to reenergize. The energy of the sun and earth can transport me. For instance, right before I went on stage, I visualized the sun coming through my hands and my feet being connected to earth and getting the energy of the earth so I can spread my light so I can energize others to spread their light. The power is with the present, and it’s important to try to stay where you are. As a parent, sometimes that’s challenging, but you have to trust.

What is your skincare routine?

I use the turmeric scrub in the shower. The Milky Mushroom is great for removing makeup. I double-cleanse with a rich moisturizer if you have drier skin. If you have oilier skin, use the algae moisturizer. It’s still moisturizing. We have an eye cream, eye oil, and a certified-organic vitamin C serum. It has the kakadu plum, which is the highest natural source of vitamin C.

What is the biggest inspiration behind the bodycare of Kora Organics?

The biggest inspiration is taking care of our body as much as we are our face because our skin is our largest organ, and the skin on our body is the largest surface area. Our biggest body products were inspired by our best sellers. The Milky Mushroom Cleanser inspired our body wash, which has the mushrooms in it to cleanse the body and spirit. Our scrub is inspired by our award-winning turmeric facial scrub. I used to use it all over my body, and I got feedback from a dermatologist who was prescribing face scrub for people to use on the back of their arms, and that inspired me to make a body scrub. There’s rosemary and peppermint in it. It’s a great ritual in the shower once a week. The body lotion is inspired by our Active Algae Moisturizer, and it has the algae that’s extremely hydrating. I use it on my whole family. I also use body wash and lotion on my whole family. I even wash my kids’ hair with the body wash. 

You speak of following the 80/20 rule and how we all need balance when it comes to diet. What’s your guilty pleasure?

I love chocolate, and I also love french fries. I just love potatoes, especially in my air fryer. Put a little sea salt and yum!

I'd argue that no other designer appreciates the convergence of architecture and fashion like Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton. Past locations for the brand's Cruise shows include architectural landmarks like the futuristic Niterói Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro and a Palm Springs estate designed by the legendary John Lautner. For Cruise 2023, Louis Vuitton returned to California, but this time closer to the ocean—well, actually, perched directly on top of crashing waves—at the Salk Institute in San Diego.

I was born and raised in San Diego and return often, so I was particularly ecstatic about the location choice. How often do I get to work from my childhood bedroom in the morning and go to a Louis Vuitton show at night? Not very. Below, I've detailed everything you should know about the magical event that surpassed all of my expectations. 

The Venue

As a scientific research facility, the Salk Institute is typically all lab coats and no LV logos, but that changed for one special night in May. It was designed by Louis Kahn in 1965 and is a famous example of brutalist architecture, which is characterized by the use of concrete, harsh angles, and large-scale structures.

Nothing about the Cruise 2023 show was an accident. The event was perfectly timed with the sunset, which cast a dreamy glow on the stark concrete scene, and the collection was specifically designed to reflect the setting sun. Or, as the press release more eloquently states, "the unique light of the West Coast created prisms on clothes full of reflections." Songs from the American band Sparks formed the soundtrack, including "The Number One Song in Heaven" from 1979.

The institute was founded by Dr. Jonas Salk, who invented the polio vaccine—an apt tie-in to the world's current state of affairs considering that an event of this size would never have occurred without the COVID-19 vaccine. 

With some silhouettes reminiscent of UFOs, the futuristic designs set against an ombré sky reminded me of the lyrics from one of my favorite Neil Young songs: "I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flying in the yellow haze of the sun." Is that on the nose or what? 

The Celebrity Attendees

Naturally, Louis Vuitton brought the fashion crowd along to San Diego. Many of the stars that LV dressed for the Met Gala earlier this month were out in full force for the Cruise show, including Gemma Chan, Phoebe Dynevor, and Chloë Grace Moretz. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone was also in attendance, hot off the heels of her appointment as the brand's first ambassador from India. Director Ava DuVernay and Anna Wintour also rounded out the lengthy guest list.

Leave it to Louis Vuitton to make "damaged" goods look impossibly cool. Most of us go to great pains to avoid denting our luggage, so the brand's newest design is certainly unexpected but will no doubt be hugely popular come 2023. "A new bag from Nicolas Ghesquière’s collection brings hallmarks of the maison's historic trunks to a soft leather design," the brand said in a statement. Another new bag, the Petite Valise, combines the iconic LV monogram with mirrored details and industrial hardware. 

The Models

No, the Louis Vuitton Cruise show did not have any Hadids or Jenners walking the runway. Instead, it offered something even better: a delightfully unexpected cast of models that included double-amputee Lauren Wasser flaunting her golden prosthetic legs, 18-year-old Olympic skier Eileen Gu, and Olympic track star Dalilah Muhammad. 

My Top 10 Favorite Runway Looks

The collection featured a whopping 56 different looks, so it was extremely difficult to narrow it down to my 10 favorites. From draped outfits that looked like they stepped right off the set of Dune to spaceship-worthy metallics, I believe these looks best represent Ghesquière's singular vision and immense artistic talent.

You know Miranda Kerr as an international supermodel—as Victoria’s Secret’s first Australian Angel, Vogue Italia’s first 3D cover star (shot by Steven Meisel), and the runway model who strutted down Balenciaga’s runway while five months pregnant. You likely also know her as the founder and CEO of the certified-natural and -organic skincare line Kora Organics, but what you might not know is just how deeply involved in the brand she is. In a world where most celebrity-faced products are licensing deals and the amount of collaboration between said celebrity and manufacturer is highly variable, the way Kerr has done things seems almost novel. After all, she developed the line for three years before launching in Australia "as a testing ground” in 2009. Okay, novel and also highly tactical.

Though her modeling career was internationally renowned, Kerr never took success for granted and employed the pragmatic mindset that each job could be her last, working hard for new work and saving money to one day fund a company of her own. "I grew up with my parents working very hard and having their own businesses, and I just assumed that's what I would do," Kerr says. She’s applied that same dedicated work ethic to Kora, and while she was initially nervous that her background as a model might mean she wouldn't be taken seriously in the business world, Kerr's fierce passion for holistic wellness won out. She was determined to bring her certified-organic line along with one secret-weapon ingredient to the masses. Enter noni.

"They call it the cheese fruit,” she says with a laugh, referencing the fruit's pungency. Kerr has been using noni for its holistic properties ever since her grandmother gave her a shot of the juice when she was 13 years old back in Australia. "It has a high antioxidant content and over 100 vitamins and minerals,” says Kerr. No wonder she’s included it in every product in the Kora Organics range.

In 2017, Kerr made another pivotal decision both for herself and the future of Kora when she expanded the brand's presence beyond Australia. "I decided that I want to spend the majority of my time, if I'm not with my family, building my own business as opposed to building other people's businesses,” she says. It’s clear Kerr’s dedication to the brand has paid off. Personally, I’ve been a huge fan of Japanese brands that focus on more holistic and low-key skincare regimens, like Shiseido, for years, but only recently have I started trying less well-known J-Beauty products—most notably Suqqu.

You may not have heard of Suqqu before, but trust me when I say it’s worth knowing about. Famously, Japanese brands are known for championing high-tech ingredients and combining them with a more holistic, natural and ritualistic approach to beauty, and Suqqu is no different. With products across both makeup and skincare, Suqqu bases itself on the principles of inner composure, serenity and wellbeing – meaning it’s a real winner if you love the look of lit-from-within skin.

And it seems I’ve got some serious company as a big Suqqu fan. After I tried my first product, I was so blown away that I decided to do a little research. Frankly, I was shocked I hadn’t heard it before. From Margot Robbie to Victoria Beckham, it turns out Suqqu has some big-name fans. And, no, I’m not talking ‘used-it-once-and-thought-it-was-ok’ fans. Some of my favourite celebs swear by Suqqu products for their everyday regimes.

It feels like over the past five to ten years, everyone with celebrity status has launched a beauty line. What started as a concept everyone wanted a slice of has slowly but surely lost its allure. A recent study by market research company Ipsos found many social media users feel sceptical that celebs actually use the products they push and say the market is oversaturated. One commenter even went as far as saying, "Dear celebrities, please—and I mean this with the greatest respect—please stop forcing new skincare lines onto us. We don’t need it, we don’t want it. We know you’re not even using it. Please, just stop.” Sheesh.

For me, it was the announcement of Brad Pitt releasing his own skincare line in September last year that, quite frankly, sent me over the edge. "Where will it end?” I internally cried. However, I must give credit where credit is due, and flag there are certain celebs absolutely killing it in the beauty industry. Let’s take Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, for example, which launched in 2017 and is now worth $2.8 billion. Or newcomer Rhode by Hailey Bieber, featuring a line up of sellout skincare essentials and that viral peptide lip treatment. I’m yet to try the brand and I’m eagerly awaiting its arrival into the UK, so watch this space…

There are also a lot of skincare and makeup staples in my own beauty regime that were born from celebrity-founded brands, so it’s not all doom and gloom. If they clearly love and whole-heartedly believe in their brand, everything feels more authentic and it reflects in the product offering.

I really love Selena Gomez, but I don’t think that makes me bias in saying her brand hits all the right marks. Rare Beauty is all about building a safe space for everyone to experiment and enjoy beauty, plus it’s also an extremely personal project for Gomez, who donates a percentage of annual profits to a mental health charity she founded. The products are also genuinely good, and you’ll often find Gomez creating step-by-step beauty tutorial’s on Instagram or Tik Tok using a whole face of Rare Beauty.

After the success of VB’s capsule collections with Estée Lauder we knew we were in for something very special when her very own beauty label launched in 2019––and boy did she deliver. Having struggled with breakouts for years, Huntington-Whiteley wanted to make sure her products work for all skin types, especially acne-prone skin. Miranda Kerr's 7-year-old son officially has a new baby brother. People reports that Kerr and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel have welcomed a new baby boy named Hart, who is reportedly named after Spiegel's grandfather. How sweet is that?

According to Baby Center's user-submitted data, the name Hart was more popular in the '90s, and it reached its lowest point in popularity in 2009. Since then, however, it's been gaining more traction—it jumped up 300 spots on the list of most popular names between 2016 and 2017, although it's still fairly uncommon. Will Kerr and Spiegel spark a resurgence? Only time will tell.

"Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family," the couple said in a statement to People. "Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. To say that Miranda Kerr looked adorable on her way to Jimmy Kimmel last night would be an understatement. After getting married in a beautiful backyard ceremony back in May, newlyweds Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel have some exciting news: A baby is on the way! People and Us Weekly confirm that the supermodel is pregnant with her second child. 

She is already a mom to 6-year-old Flynn—who is adorably grown-up now—with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, but the new baby will be her first child with Spiegel. “Miranda, Evan and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family,” her rep said in a statement to People. Confession: I haven’t always been a fan of denim on denim. Perhaps I’ve seen too many “bad Britneys” to realise just how great it was. But as they say, timing is everything, and after I had my first child double denim didn’t just get a workout in my wardrobe, it became a weekly go-to.

Pre-baby, getting dressed was a leisurely affair with lots of outfit changes and umming and ahhing in front of the mirror. Getting dressed post-baby takes on a whole new meaning: Basically, you have five minutes to get yourself sorted so you need to know it’s something that looks polished and put-together. It was about this time that I started to plan my outfits the night before and double denim began to feature heavily in my weekly rotation. Why? Once you get the hang of it, it’s a fail-safe option for looking both stylish and effortless.

While double denim isn’t that complicated to put together, it’s still considered. It’s all about the cut, colour, wash, and how you accessorise the look. Founder and creative director of cult denim brand One Teaspoon, Jamie Blakey, sums it up perfectly: 

“Doing double denim right is all about proportions. And it’s important to keep the look current by considering where fashion and trends are at at the time”.

With something for every member of the family, The Brentwood Country Mart is the perfect spot for celebrities with or without their kids. Forbes has released its annual list of the world's highest-paid models, based on data gathered on the 2013 fiscal year. Obviously, there are some familiar names on this list: Moss, Upton, Kerr, and Kloss all have their rightful place on the magazine's list of the top 21 most well-paid models in the world. 

But perhaps more surprising is who managed to make their way to the top few spots on the list. Here's a hint: the top-earning model in 2013 made an unbelievable $47 million last year, while the second-place model made a relatively modest $8 million.

The Russian model and It-girl came in 10th place, raking in an impressive $4 million in 2013.

Rhoda made $5 million in 2013, landing her in ninth place.

Ambrosio made $5 million in 2013, putting her in eighth place.

Liu Wen made a jaw-dropping $7 million in 2013, landing her in seventh place.

Kerr, who stars in six campaigns for the F/W 14 season, made a whopping $7 million last year. 

Upton made $7 million in 2013, landing her in fifth place.

The 40-year-old Moss made $7 million in 2013, though as we've seen, her assets soar in the $25-million range.

Lima's $8 million take-home in 2013 helped bump her into the top-three highest-paid models in the world.

Perhaps most surprising: Doutzen Kroes comes in at second place, having taken home $8 million in 2013.

The number-one highest-paid model in the world? GIsele Bündchen, who crushed her competition by raking in a staggering $47 million in 2013.
