When a trend starts popping up, it’s an editor’s job to pick up on it, and that’s exactly what’s happening with croc-embossed bags right now. I first spotted one this season at a Clare V. press preview. As soon as I saw it, it felt like the perfect bag for fall, and I immediately wanted one.

Jenner recently posted this video to her Instagram story, fluttering her crystal-encrusted tips to show off the bouquet of pale, glittering flowers cured onto a semi-sheer pink base. Call it a coincidence or divine timing, but Bachik (aka Selena Gomez's go-to manicurist) just demonstrated how to achieve a very similar nail jewelry look at home with a UV lamp, pink gel polish, and a few sparkly gemstones. 1. Prep and Paint the Nails

To most accurately re-create this look, you'll want to either ask for a gel manicure at the salon or pull out your UV gel lamp at home. But if regular polish is your go-to, fear not—you can still partake in this trend, just be prepared for your gems to fall off a bit faster than they would with gel.

Onto the paint job! Bachik recommends starting with a thin layer of base coat—and getting as close to the cuticle as possible—before moving onto your base polish. Jenner's light pink hue looks extra perfect for spring, and we've found a few lookalikes for both at-home gel manicurists and regular lacquer enthusiasts alike.

2. Sandwich Topcoat and Crystals

After allowing your pink nail polish to cure under a UV lamp (or dry, if using regular nail polish), you'll want to go in with topcoat—but only one nail at a time. Bachik explains that it's important to limit your focus to one nail in the topcoat and application steps, which should happen within seconds of each other, because "the crystals would slide with the topcoat" if you applied each gem to every nail before curing.

One by one, apply a gel (or regular!) topcoat, then quickly apply your gems in a flower-shaped cluster with a thin tweezer. Allow it to air-dry or cure before moving on to the next.

Pro tip: Secure your gems in place by going over the base with a thin brush dipped in topcoat so it won't peel away or fall off.

There are years in fashion when the landscape doesn’t just evolve—it tilts. This year has been one of them. In an era defined by creative-director musical chairs, an overabundance of fast fashion, and micro-aesthetics that morph faster than we can track, the industry has felt both restless and on the verge of something new, which is why, when it came time to assemble the 2025 Gen Z Best Dressed List, I turned to the people who understand this shifting terrain most intuitively: Who What Wear’s Gen Z editors. After all, who better to decode the year’s most era-defining looks than the cohort that can spot an archival John Galliano slip on a TikTok thumbnail at 0.2 seconds?

What emerged from our Slack messages and email threads was a portrait of a new generation of style stars rewriting the red carpet in real time. These are the actors, pop girls, and fashion darlings fearlessly mixing vintage with rising designers, or stepping into the ateliers of Chanel, Miu Miu, and other legacy maisons. They’re working with young, razor-sharp stylists who treat every appearance like a conversation—sometimes a love letter, sometimes a rebellion, but always as a means to make a statement and get attention.

There’s an electricity to Hollywood right now, a feeling that the fashion story is shifting scene by scene, outfit by outfit. It’s fresh, it’s unpredictable, and, frankly, it’s the most fun I’ve had covering red carpet style in years. If 2025 were the year Gen Z took over, 2026 is shaping up to be the year they set the entire rule book on fire—beautifully, unapologetically, and in extremely good shoes.

Bella Hadid is Gen Z's fashion muse, in part thanks to her casual, low-key 'fits that the model has gone mega viral for over the last few years. While Hadid was largely absent for most of 2025 to focus on her health, the moments the star did pop up were well worth it—namely, this early 2025 appearance in SoHo in an all-black look complete with Saint Laurent sunglasses and a leather funnel-neck jacket. I personally like Hadid's style when it's a bit more casual since it feels more authentic to her, so this look ranks among my top five in the year.

I love Kylie and Timothée together, sue me! Since they don't often make public appearances together, I'm always locked into their style when they do—namely, during the latter half of the year when the couple was spotted at several New York Knicks games after the team made it to the NBA semi-finals. I'm zoning in on Jenner's outfit here, though. The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner empire typically goes all out with her outfits, so to see her lean into a simple sporty windbreaker, wide-leg jeans, and a square watch for this specific look felt incredibly off-brand in the best way. I love how casual her style has become over the last year now that she's been brought out of her shell a bit more by Chalamet. Perhaps we'll get a full-on King Kylie–era style moment in 2026?

Of all the Kylie Jenner nail designs I've saved (from tuxedo tips to the chunky '90s French), none has me more jazzed than the jelly plaid situation she shared over Thanksgiving. They not only confirm that preppy style is, in fact, here to stay (long live the cable-knits!) but also are surprisingly easy to replicate—and this is coming from an at-home mani novice who shies away from bold color, let alone detailed nail art.

Jenner's jelly plaid nails definitely look intricate—I wouldn't call them minimal by any means—but they're actually far easier to achieve than you think. All you need is a few polish shades, a glossy top coat, and a neutral base to tie the look together. Luckily, celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt posted a tutorial demonstrating each step using all OPI products, including one editor-obsessed shade that's conveniently marked down for Cyber Monday.

The shade in question: OPI's Put It In Neutral. Ganzorigt starts with one coat of the iconic sheer-pink polish to create a milky base before layering on the plaid. Even if you aren't committing to Jenner's look, Put It In Neutral is a fabulous shade to have in your collection, as the classic hue goes with everything. In fact, OPI's global director of color equity, Jill Bartoshevich, once told WWW that it's a top five best-seller for the brand. It has a similar milky finish to Bubble Bath (another beloved color), but it has more of a neutral-beige tone that doesn't read too pink.

After curing the base (but you can just let it completely dry, if you're using regular polish), Ganzorigt then creates a checked pattern using multiple mix-and-match colors, including OPI's Cliffside Karaoke, Less Is Norse, and Suzi The First Lady Of Nails. Before painting each stripe, she notes that she mixed the polishes with top coat to create a sheer, jelly finish. (And FYI: OPI's Clear Top Coat is also on sale for Cyber Monday.) She uses two colors for each nail—one for the main, thicker checked pattern and another contrasting hue to paint in between those lines. She cures the nails once again, then finishes with a layer of top coat to lock in the shine.

The result? A clean, preppy pattern with a sheer, neutral base peeking through. You can use any polish colors you have at home, though I do recommend buying Put It In Neutral for the base if you don't already own it. It's a smart investment for your at-home collection, as you'll wind up using it for an array of polish projects—from neutral, "naked" manis to stunning nail art prep—and it's 30% off for the next few hours. Consider this your sign to commit to a new winter nail color.

If there was one phrase to sum up the past year, it would be the title of Charli XCX and Caroline Polacheck’s 2024 single, “Everything Is Romantic”. The song, which was featured in the teaser trailer for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights, croons about falling in love again and again and has since gone viral on social media after its initial release on the British singer’s magnum opus album, Brat.

Love, clearly, is in the air, and given this collective mood coincides with Who What Wear UK’s 10th anniversary celebration, there’s never been a better time to look back on the stylish pairings that best embrace this. Indeed, there have been countless best-dressed celebrity couples vying for the crown throughout the course of our small but mighty history. Here on home soil, we have duos like Sienna Miller and Oli Green, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham and Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge, all of whom make London’s vibrant fashion scene all the more exciting when they step out.

Across the pond, there are established relationships like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake, who prove that affairs of the heart are closely intertwined with those of the style variety. Of course, there are also emerging love stories, like the one between Lana Del Rey and alligator wrangler husband Jeremy Dufrene or Bella Hadid and her real-life cowboy Adan Banuelos, who constantly keep us on our toes with the way they radically dress to their own accord for their outings. She wears Pieter Mulier’s Alaïa, vintage Gucci by Tom Ford, and Bottega Veneta borrowed from her boyfriend’s closet. Their children even wear custom Jonathan Anderson for Dior children’s suits. A date night for this couple includes heading to the annual Met Gala and flaunting their excellent taste at Santa Monica’s star-studded Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi. The rapper and the self-proclaimed bad gal Riri really do it like no other.

2. Victoria Beckham and David Beckham

Style Notes: Posh and Becks have a relationship straight out of a British fairytale. But instead of star-crossed lovers and evil step-mothers, you have an upstart Premier League star from Manchester, a global pop sensation from nearby Essex and a love that’s spanned over twenty years. Throughout each decade, they’ve brought their own respective taste to the relationship, from her Spice Girls-era little black dresses to his Real Madrid-days frosted tips and her WAG-inspired bleached extensions and Hermès Birkins. Bridging both old and new media, David and Victoria Beckham have always mastered matching one another’s sartorial energies. Though they’ve since levelled up from being the front pages of tabloid rags to helming their own documentary series chronicling their respective lives and legacies, the Beckhams have always used fashion to their advantage, making them the exemplar of a modern power couple.

Style Notes: Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles might be the most nascent couple on this list, however, the short span of their relationship should in no way disregard the countless displays of harmonious style. The actress and the musician began casually dating back in August after the pair were caught strolling arm and arm by onlookers. They’ve since taken their tryst international following on from this soft launch, showing up in Rome, New York and London to parade both their burgeoning romance and matching pieces from The Row. Style Notes: Tangled up in a web of Vivenne Westwood, archival Alexander McQueen and a dazzling Jessica McCormack engagement ring is none other than Zendaya and Tom Holland. Fast-forward to 2025, and Kylie Cosmetics has launched a limited-edition King Kylie collection to celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary. It pays homage to "the evolution of [Jenner's] signature style" and refers to a nickname, or alter ego, that Jenner popularized a decade ago. On the other hand, people who love to hate them are quick to comment on someone's look anytime and to say they're not in style. The truth is, like any denim trend, they come in and out of fashion, and right now, they're in—proven by Kylie Jenner, who just wore and styled them in a fresh, 2025-ready way.

Kylie Jenner just shook up my summer-to-fall mood board. Lately, I've been saving pictures of trendy micro French manicures on Pinterest, but she's convinced me to take my next nail appointment in the opposite direction. Let me introduce you to the "deep '90s French" manicure.

The deep '90s French, coined and created by celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt, is an homage to the original French manicure. Think long, almond-shaped nails and a thick French tip. It's a complete reversal from the itty-bitty, quiet luxury French manicures I've been seeing all over my FYP. I associate it with an edgy, cool-girl energy thanks to Pamela Anderson, who was known for the look in the '90s and early 2000s. Decades later, it's still just as cool, and Jenner is proof.

The Reference

Ganzorigt included a picture of the inspiration behind Jenner's manicure, and it appears to be the 1997 cover of Nails magazine featuring a woman with a French manicure and rose-gold toenail polish. As I said before, I tend to associate the look with Anderson. Here, she's pictured in Los Angeles in 2003.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but summer nail looks don't always have to reflect poolside hues and playful, picnic-inspired designs. It's not brand new by any means (J.Lo and Camila Cabello both debuted tuxedo manis during summer 2023), but it's officially back—and classier than ever. Below, discover the sophisticated nail design meant to make you look like a million bucks.

What Are Tuxedo Nails?

You don't have to necessarily commit to bow tie–themed manicures (unless that's your jam, then by all means, carry on!). The "tuxedo nail" trend simply refers to crisp, black-and-white nail designs with some sort of geometric shape—circles, triangles, half-moons, etc. Keep the lines clean and contrasting—unlike aura or ombré nails, which focus more on a soft bloom of color—and you'll wind up with a set that appears sophisticated and classy.

Take Kylie Jenner, for example, who paired her black-and-white gingham Miu Miu minidress with an equally chic "twisted French" design, courtesy of her longtime nail artist Zola Ganzorigt. The look (pictured above!) features two slim, black stripes on the tips of her otherwise classic French—minimal yet mesmerizing. Cardi B also switched up the timeless design at the Stéphane Rolland couture show during Paris Fashion Week, opting for black French tips set against an opaque white base. The set, mastered by nail artist Coca Michelle, beautifully complements the rapper's striking, architectural black-and-white gown.

A tuxedo nail design makes any manicure look instantly more refined, but that doesn't mean you can't take the trend in a more playful direction. Dua Lipa, for one, sported dainty, black-and-white daisies on her nails during her Italian getaway with fiancé Callum Turner. The look still falls within the tuxedo nails camp with its minimal, geometric design, but it's a far more casual, summery option to try. You see, tuxedo nails don't always have to read black-tie.
