Kourtney Kardashian Barker is undeniably a wellness icon. So far, 2025 is all about one color: yellow. The year began with an almost universal obsession with butter yellow. The soft, creamy shade was all over the runway and our FYPs. Since then, it's evolved into lemon yellow, or "limoncello," thanks to Hailey Bieber. She recently released a new version of her viral Peptide Lip Tint in Lemontini ($16). If it seems like the Kardashian-Jenner sisters change their hair like the weather, that's because they kind of do. Kim Kardashian recently went back to dark hair after being some variation of blonde for quite some time, and Khloé Kardashian recently swapped platinum hair for a softer honey blonde. The latest Kardashian sister to try out a blonde shade? Kourtney Kardashian Barker, who has almost always maintained her naturally dark hair.

Kardashian Barker has had a blunt bob for a while now, but the platinum variation is brand-new. She went to Cassondra Kaeding, a colorist in Los Angeles, for her new bottle-blonde tresses. The color looks so good on her that I'm hoping it sticks around for a while. 

On Instagram, Kardashian Barker shared snaps of her new hair along with a quote from Hunter S. Thompson from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: "Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas … with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether." On this episode of Who What Wear With Hillary Kerr, Hillary passes the torch to Editorial Director Lauren Eggertsen and editor Eliza Huber, who are reporting live from New York Fashion Week. Lauren and Eliza give listeners a rundown of what they’ve seen in the first few days of shows, the biggest trends they’re excited to try, and what this means for the coming year. 

As self-proclaimed fashion nerds, Eliza and Lauren have been on the lookout for the newest trends for the SS23 season. Eliza even made a spreadsheet of 50+ trends and the week isn’t even over. They’re seeing trends like bubble skirts, double-layered skirts, dropwaists, and sheer fabrics. 

Double-layered skirts dominated the runways for brands like MNZ and Sandy Liang. At Fendi, Lila Moss wore a cargo mini skirt with a lace-trimmed, sequin miniskirt underneath.

The dropwaist has also made a comeback with collections by Khaite, Carolina Herrera, and Sandy Liang all featuring the silhouette. Bubble skirts were also seen in collections by Proenza Schouler and Ulla Johnson. 

As for street style, suiting and leather continued to reign, with some newer trends such as logo tanks, Barbie core, sporty sunglasses, and maxi lengths also popping up.

Lauren Eggertsen: I flew in on Friday. I was super stressed because my plane landed at 2:30 at JFK. I had the Proenza show at 4 so I literally changed and did my makeup in the Uber. The second I got to my hotel, I just gave my bags to the front desk and sprinted to the show. 

Eliza Huber: I need to know about the show. How was it? 

LE: Oh, it was perfect. It was the perfect show to start with. It's such an iconic New York brand. It was their 20th anniversary show Kendall and Bella walked for the first time this season. The collection was so strong. But it essentially set the standard for the week. It set it pretty high. And I love that I got to be there. It was such an honor and such a beautiful show. I'm lucky I made it to be honest.

EH: As for trends, first drop waist dresses, specifically the ones at Khaite, Carolina Herrera and Sandy Liang. I feel like this trend used to be so hated. And then Khaite made a style Kendall Jenner wore. Everyone fell in love and then of course, the Abercrombie viral dress, so it's no surprise that designers are bringing them out on the runway. Then we saw a ton of bubble skirts at Proenza Schouler, Ulla Johnson and Khaite. Obviously this is an 80's inspired trend but I think something that was fun about this one is that it felt super modern. And then last are double-layered skirts which we saw at MNZ, Sandy Liang and Fendi. At Fendi, Lila Moss opened the show with a cargo mini skirt and then a lace trim sequin mini underneath.

LE: Can we chat about what the street style scene has been wearing? I feel like half the fun of attending shows is seeing what the chicest people in our industry choose to actually wear. I know sometimes it can get really wild and be super flashy. I think this season we've definitely seen just some very pared down simple chic looks so I'm curious what you think. I feel like I've been noticing suiting continuing, you know really strong blazers, trousers, definitely puddle pants.

EH: I definitely have been seeing so many maxi lengths, be it a skirt or a dress or even a long trench. Everyone wants their clothes to be touching the ground apparently. Another one is logo tanks. And then Barbie core is huge right now. And then lots of sporty sunglasses, which I think is fun. Because even though you can buy the designer options, you can still get the super cheap ones. 

LE: Okay, then there was also the Tommy Hilfiger show, which is the perfect segue for some of these more random yet noteworthy moments that didn't make it onto our Instagram stories that we are definitely talking about in the office.

EH: Oh, the Tommy show. It was certainly noteworthy. It was held at the Skyline Drive in Brooklyn, which is completely uncovered, so of course it poured down rain throughout the entire event, which had so many celebrities in it. Still not even a deluge could keep us from seeing Travis Barker perform. We also saw Precious Lee in a denim onesie carrying a whip. Ashley Graham, Julia Fox and Winnie Harlow all walked the runway, especially iconic was spotting Kourtney show her support in the front row alongside Kris Jenner and Kate Moss who casually walked past us in the soaking wet crowd. And she looked incredible, even better in person. I adore her. I want to be her.

Some may view shopping as a fun and frivolous hobby (not us!), but in reality, it's a sport. It takes true skill to be able to find a rare and coveted designer piece, especially when it comes down to a 24-hour or less deadline. Just ask Gab Waller. At just 28 years old, the Australian buyer has become the magic maker for clients looking to get their hands on pieces like a sold-out, in-demand Prada bag. One may even call Waller the Indiana Jones of shopping.

Waller's prowess for sourcing sold-out designer pieces for clients all over the world earned her celebrity clients like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Khloe Kardashian, and Hailey Bieber. (The latter of whom scored two "miracle finds," including an oversize Balenciaga coat and a Celine coat from fall 2018.) In our latest episode, Waller tells us the secrets of her personal-shopping business, including the most over-the-top item she had to source and what her clients are still trying to get their hands on a year later. I read that you can typically confirm the location of an item within 24 hours. Can you walk me through a little bit of what that process looks like? 

In terms of how the sourcing process works as a whole, everything at this point in time comes through via Instagram or via email. And all we need to begin any hunt is an image of the exact item and the size. From there, it gets logged in our database, and that's when we begin the hunt, essentially. The one thing I have learned being in this business is how fast-paced it is. Something that may be available right now could potentially be sold in less than 30 minutes. You really can't be twiddling your fingers, and I thrive off that. I think that's why I love what I do so much. I love that fast-paced environment. Being three and a half years in, there are certain requests that we receive that I know exactly who to go to for it, where it's quick and easy, and we're able to snatch that up straight away. There are others where we really have to do some extensive digging. With that 24-hour turnaround, it certainly does happen, and that's where it really comes down to knowing and having that finger on the pulse of what region might be the best one to reach out to, because we source globally from all over the world. So I may go, "Okay, let's go straight to London for this, or let's jump straight to Dubai for this."

What has been the most difficult thing to source?

There are a couple of things that jumped to mind. Certainly that post–Rosie Huntington-Whiteley coat era and that old Celine boom. That definitely tested my abilities back then of just how much old Celine I could source, with some of those pieces being so rare in the market, even to this day. I still get requests for the [Celine] Edge sunglasses and things like that. So they are very, very challenging. But other than that, I do look for pieces when it comes to that quantity that we need. So whether it is the Chanel [dad] sandal or the Prada Raffia Tote, we can definitely find one, two, or three, but when it comes to amping up the quantity, that's where it really gets quite challenging. And that is where it's so important to work closely with the brands, too, and they have been so incredible in that regard to really help with that and keep all of my clients happy.

So what about the most over-the-top thing that you've ever had to track down?

It was a particular client that wanted a really incredible Vetements leather jacket. I remember at the time it was like a piece of art. And at that point in time, we were liaising with the brand, and eventually, we managed to have them agree to custom-make it for him. And it was quite a short lead time, but it was sold out, and it wasn't floating around, especially through all my pre-loved private market sourcing that I try to do. So that was really amazing. It was very impressive.

So what are you getting the most requests for right now?

I would definitely say Chanel. The spring/summer collections recently launched, and it was boomed immediately from the runway. It was very vintage inspired, so the swimsuits from them are certainly popping at the moment. The other style was the Saint Laurent Sin sandal. I recently sourced it for Rosie and posted it up on Instagram. It was funny. One of my clients from down in Melbourne texted me, and she's like, "What have you done? You're selling out all of these Sin sandals. I'm in the Saint Laurent boutique right now, and there's been multiple people coming in asking for them, and the sales assistant was saying 'We just don't have them.'" So I always find it so interesting, watching a particular piece that may not have had a demand, and then a certain someone posted it. Miu Miu is certainly having a moment. I'm really excited to see what's coming out from them and the amount of requests that we are receiving. And of course, Prada is always one of our top requests. The Raffia Bags continue to be in demand, and we are continuing to source them. That's an item that has been in demand for a good year now. So to have that amount of time where it's still popping, it's very interesting.

At last, the wait is over. Roughly 24 hours after the news broke that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker—who got engaged on the beach in Montecito, California, back in October—were married in a Las Vegas wedding chapel on Grammys night, we finally got our hands on photos from the ceremony. 

On Wednesday, the eldest Kardashian sister posted a slideshow of images from the couple's makeshift wedding, showcasing the newlyweds kissing in front of an Elvis impersonator turned officiant. And while their Vegas ceremony wasn't technically legit (according to her post, they didn't get an actual license), it was dreamy nonetheless. The bride paired hers with a yellow-and-black vintage Versace look from the label's F/W 12 collection, while Barker went shirtless. They both donned the same black sunglasses they wore on the Grammys red carpet. In other words, the reality TV star was the epitome of an alt-bride, yet another major 2022 trend.

Next, A Viral TikTok Just Confirmed Everyone in France Is Wearing This One Sweater. 

Apparently, Kravis doesn’t watch Succession, because while we were busy watching Waystar Royco unravel in the season-three opener, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were getting engaged—and no, this is not a drill. On Sunday night, the former Blink-182 drummer got down on one knee on a rose-covered beach in Montecito, California, where he and Kardashian, who have been dating publicly since February, decided to be together forever. Or at least, that’s what Kardashian’s Instagram post from the evening would have us believe. "Forever,” she captioned two photos that gave us an up-close view of the candlelit beach locale.

Perhaps more important than the couple’s big news, though, is Kardashian’s big rock: a stunning oval-shaped engagement ring that Barker’s daughter, Alabama, showed off in an Instagram story that was taken at the couple’s post-engagement dinner. Kim Kardashian West later posted another video of it, zooming in on the ring, which, of course, is huge. According to Olivia Landau, the founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, Kardashian's engagement ring is an oval-cut diamond estimated to be between eight and 10 carats. The stone is set in a platinum solitaire style with a thin pavé-diamond band, leading Landau to estimate that, depending on the true size and quality of the center stone, Kardashian’s engagement ring could be worth upward of $650,000. (Casual.) 

Its particular shape has been especially popular in the last few years, following an influx of celebrity engagements that involved oval-shaped diamonds. "Oval diamonds have been the number one most popular and most requested diamond shape [at The Clear Cut] over the past three years,” says Landau. "Oval diamonds are super popular because they show their carat weight well.” Other A-listers that wear the style include Hailey Bieber, Blake Lively, Sarah Hyland, and Jasmine Tookes, just to name a few.

What Did You Try? I tried the Diamond InstaFacial by Jason B. Diamond, MD, FACS, in Beverly Hills.

Why Did You Try It? I have seen Kourtney Kardashian and Olivia Culpo post about it multiple times, and they both have amazing, youthful skin. My goal for 2020 is to work toward preventative aging.

How Did You Prepare? According to Diamond, this procedure is great for all skin types. "The reason this procedure is so popular is because it's good for everybody. I don't think I've seen somebody who's not a good candidate for it," he explains. "It's good for young people who are trying to maximize their skin texture and tone, and it's good to help settle down breakouts and acne flare-ups, which a lot of young people deal with. It's great for the aging population, too, because it addresses fine lines and improves skin elasticity and collagen production, which is what the aging face really needs to look its best." 

Since this facial includes a laser component, the first step was a consultation with Diamond to determine which laser would be best for my skin and also to assess the areas of my face that were showing any signs of aging.

What Happened During the Whole Process? There are four parts to the InstaFacial: lasering, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections made from my own blood, micro-needling, and a proprietary collagen mask that's exclusive to Diamond's practice.

Before we got started, Diamond applied a topical numbing cream to my face for about 30 minutes to make sure the entire process was pain-free.

We decided to go with the Clear + Brilliant laser, which Diamond says helps to resurface and exfoliate the skin.

After drawing the patient's blood, Diamond puts it through a centrifuge, which separates the plasma cells. Those cells are then injected into the face, which Diamond says stimulates collagen production, smooths fine lines and wrinkles, and aids the skin's ability to heal itself. This was the most uncomfortable part of the procedure.

Diamond says that the tiny punctures created by the micro-needling device also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, in addition to improving the appearance of acne scars.

This soothing mask uses micronized collagen molecules to penetrate deep into the skin, which Diamond says ensures the best possible results.

Any Challenges? I was not able to wash my face until the following day, and sunscreen was a must! Diamond gave me a hat to wear once I left the office and insisted that I wear sunscreen for the entire week following the treatment. He also instructed me to use a vitamin C serum and moisturizer daily after washing my face.

Any Surprises? The recovery was seamless. I was even able to go straight to work when we finished. My skin felt like it was exfoliating itself for a few days after the treatment, but it did not look dry. It had a sandy texture that only I could notice, so moisturizing oil was my best friend all week.

How Did You Feel Afterward? What Kind of Changes Did You Notice? My skin looked very plump! The texture of my skin looked glazed and smooth, even two weeks after the treatment. The most noticeable change was around my laugh lines, where Diamond injected my plasma. The lines have dramatically softened.

What Did You Like About It? I liked that there was no recovery time.

What Did You Hate? The process was a bit long. It can take anywhere from one to two hours.

Would You Try It Again? I would! Diamond mentioned that celebrities and models sometimes come as often as once a month for this treatment.

Kourtney and Khloé re-created a photo once used to promote their old show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, where they are casually posed on the side of a yacht wearing two of the most current swimwear trends of 2019. Little black boots go with everything, and they're much more comfortable than heels, so it's no surprise some of our favorite stylish celebs wear them while they're out and about. They prove that little black boots are just as versatile (and necessary to a wardrobe) as a little black dress. 

Hailey Bieber's black boots are high on the ankle and low to the ground. They give her black minidress a little extra edge, which makes this the perfect example of summery NY street style.

Beckham's black boots are as strong as her army green jumpsuit and star black crossbody bag. 

Priyanka Chopra's black boots are all about sleekness and structure, as they taper off into a small square toe box. (We also have to take this opportunity to mention how much we love her plaid-on-plaid look.)

In theory, a silver choker seems like a pretty basic accessory. However, if your Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Kourtney Kardashian, or Priyanka Chopra, you know how to upgrade it into a stunning piece of jewelry that will complement any outfit, no matter how casual or how formal. 

Chokers range from big and bold to barely there. Bieber chose to go the delicate route and wear a tiny silver diamond choker to the MTV awards.

Rihanna is never one to shy away from a bold statement, and the same holds true for the time she stepped out wearing these layered silver necklaces.

Victoria Beckham wears a silver chain-link choker with a classic white T-shirt and baggy jeans in the way only she can.

Look closely and you'll see that Kourtney Kardashian's choker is actually made up of two strands of silver diamonds.

If any of these outfits sounds familiar, then you know stylist Dani Michelle's work. In addition to styling the trio of boldfaced names, Michelle is also responsible for helping a pair of on-the-rise stars achieve a banner year in the style department: 19-year-old Amanda Steele and 17-year-old Amelia Gray Hamlin, among other clients. You know how financial advisers tell you to diversify your investments? Well, with a mix of Kardashian-Jenners and up-and-comers, Michelle's styling portfolio would certainly pass, with flying colors at that.

Like many fashion success stories, Michelle's started with an internship. "I learned what a stylist was after I took an internship at a fashion magazine in college," she told Who What Wear. "At the time, it felt like a dream and not a job, but today I experience the craft as a real art and business (yet still a dream job)." 

That dream job takes a lot of hard work, certainly, but it never hurts to have some killer personal style of your own—and Michelle is definitely not lacking in that department. We decided to turn the lens on Michelle to offer us a few holiday party outfit ideas, and I came away from the shoot frantically taking notes on her styling suggestions in hopes that her expert eye would rub off on me. Read on to see the extremely Instagrammable looks and learn Michelle's take on each outfit. 

"The first look is one of my go-to styling tricks: belting outerwear," Michelle told us. "I love to belt blazers, and this Loewe belt is especially well designed. Pairing it on top of this jacket helps give your body a defined shape. A belt can reimagine a silhouette of a dress, blazer, or outerwear look. This is something I constantly do in real life so that my clothes look more tailored and stylized."

"My second look is my favorite," Michelle said. "Styling is all about mixing proportions, and I love the idea of a mini skirt with an oversized jacket. It’s about finding the right balance between your top half and bottom, especially in relationship to your body frame. I love tall, slouchy boots, and this is something I wanted to wear right off the set and into real life!"

Michelle went on to explain the accessory trend she'll definitely be relying on in 2019. "My third look features my favorite accessories trend right now: glitz!" she told us. "I'm obsessed with accessories that have diamantés. I love to juxtapose super-fancy accessories with jeans as I did with this look. It shows how the right accessories can take a casual outfit to a whole new level." 

Rest assured you don't have to be a high-powered stylist with an A-list clientele to pull off these looks. (For starters, you can nab a leather corset belt for a fraction of the price of Michelle's Loewe version.) You just have to be willing to step outside your comfort zone a bit—and have some trust in the impeccably dressed professional who does this for a living.

A case against wearing a bra? We've made it. There are no official rules when it comes to wearing or not wearing a bra, but in case you're a novice to the notion, we found the perfect beginner's dress, and it's all thanks to Kourtney Kardashian. Just this week, Kourtney was spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles wearing a Reformation dress that was literally designed to be worn with no bra.
