The collection introduces AllTheFeels pieces, with silhouettes inspired by the '90s and early 2000s to create chic, minimalist options that you can wear beyond the gym. "For this collection, I drew inspiration from '90s workout videos and that perfect intersection of fashion and function where activewear becomes all-day wear,” Gerber said. “I kept thinking about those iconic paparazzi shots—Gisele, Kate Moss, even my mom—wearing tiny tanks and shorts with such effortless cool. That’s the energy I wanted: pieces that work as hard in the gym as they do in the world."

Amid a stacked lineup of buzzy new creative director debuts in 2025, one opening act rose to the top for me: Sarah Burton at Givenchy. The former Alexander McQueen designer, who memorably made Kate Middleton's wedding dress in 2011, was announced as the creative director for all of Givenchy's men's and women's collections back in September 2024. "It is a great honor to be joining the beautiful house of Givenchy. It is a jewel," Burton said in a statement at the time. "I am so excited to be able to write the next chapter in the story of this iconic house and to bring to Givenchy my own vision, sensibility, and beliefs."

Now, her perspective is coming into sharper focus with the release of her first main-collection Givenchy campaign today. (A pre-fall shoot was unveiled in June.) Believe it or not, one of the most prominent themes on the F/W 25 runways was lingerie—lingerie that's more classy than risqué, that is. Many of the boudoir-inspired looks that graced the runways of Chloé and Miu Miu (among others) were elegant and had a cool-girl vintage quality about them. Specifically, one of the trends to stem from this fall aesthetic is lace-trimmed dresses. Think of silky nightgowns that you can wear outside. And one of the early adopters of the trend is Kaia Gerber, who just wore a black dress in this style to dinner with Karlie Kloss in Malibu. I wouldn't say the trend is all that surprising, given the popularity of lace-trimmed skirts and lace-trimmed shorts this year, but the dress trend feels fresh nonetheless.

Something I think we can all agree on is that L.A. girls love a pretty dress trend, and Gerber, whose style I would describe as pretty, is likely to inspire many others to start shopping for a lace-trimmed dress of their own. At last, we've entered my favourite season to dress for. The ease of dressing in the summer months has always drawn me in, simply calling upon three or maybe four items to put together a chic look. Whilst I've often proclaimed my adoration for a tailored linen set, there's nothing quite like the simplicity of throwing on a pretty dress, adding sandals and a basket bag and heading out into the sunshine. Finding the right dress for this summer trio can be the hard part. But if romantic details, a breezy silhouette and a polished finish are what you're searching for, you might want to consider the well-known and well-loved Dôen Quinn Dress (£278).

The Quinn dress is already a best-selling style for the brand, but with a new embroidered version joining the roster and a restock underway, it deserves a spotlight. Like all of the brand's creations, there's an ethereal feel to the Quinn dress, with a delicate scoop neckline that has adjustable ties for a perfect fit.
