Whenever Justin Bieber debuts a new music video, it's bound to go viral. But his newest one happens to have some unexpected crossover appeal thanks to a cameo by the one and only Diane Keaton. The 75-year-old actress isn't the first name you think of when you consider who's in Bieber's fan base, but this charming new video just proved that they're quite the dynamic duo.

Keaton stars as Bieber's grandmother in the poignant new music video for "Ghost," which is about healing from grief. Keaton revealed in an interview with Vogue that she brought her own clothes to wear in the video, including a fabulous plaid Gucci coat. "That coat is really killer for me. It's my favorite," Keaton said. "A coat is the greatest thing in the world for a person like me who's kind of odd. I'm hoping that you can take us back to those early days of finding your footing as a stylist and honing in on what it means to create a persona or a vibe for your clients. How did you figure that out in the beginning? And has that changed over time? 

I would do kind of any job that came my way. My old assistant and I would laugh our heads off because we'd be doing these jobs that require hundreds and hundreds of pieces of clothing. And it wasn't refined at all—it was just like 30 blue shirts. And so I think that gave me the skill of always, always, always being prepared. But then when I moved into the celebrity world, I really always considered myself a real big editor—someone who edits down the rack so that when I have a client coming in, I know what I think they're going to wear. Even though we have tons of clothes, I want it to be really concise to not waste their time but also to make sure we have this tight vision of how it's going to look. 

I still have so many questions about your relationship with Justin Bieber. You've done so much incredible work together, tours, and campaigns. And we also have to think about his most recent highly Instagrammed trip to Europe. So can you tell me a little bit about why that partnership works? How your relationship has evolved over the years? 

Well, we've almost been together eight years now.

And that's a lifetime in music.

It really, really is. I have a kind of rule. I'm going to preface this by saying I care really deeply for all the people I work with, but I have a rule that I'm not friends with clients. I'm there to work for them and to service them. And ultimately, I have a great love for Justin. I have a great love for Tracee [Ellis Ross], a great love for Sarah [Paulson]. Busy [Philipps] and I are actually really great friends. It's grown from that. But I don't ever, at that moment, consider myself their equal. I consider myself their person who's there to work for them—that level of professionalism. I think in this business, relationships can get really blurred and bite a lot of people in the ass. I don't want to say I pride myself on that distance, but I'm really aware of it. I don't want to take their space. They're the star. And so maybe that's why I'm still here. 

So in addition to your vast, prolific, fantastic career as a stylist, you also have your own brand. It has been such a pleasure to watch the various collaborations and initiatives and the way that things keep growing. So tell me a little bit about why you wanted to start your own thing, how it came to life.

Well, at the time, it was a necessity. We weren't finding a specific type of T-shirt. This is how x Karla started. And I was like, well, I'm going to make them. And I kept on making them and did it. I have Matthew, my husband, who's a part creative partner as well. I couldn't do anything without him, to be fully honest. He was like, yeah, we should build this. He really built the business. I don't call myself a designer by any means. But I do know what's missing and what I want to see and how I want to be able to afford it. And I knew that that kind of audience was out there. So I just did it.

Next, five wardrobe staples I'm buying before I turn 30 next month. 

These two just keep getting cooler and cooler. We cover Hailey Bieber's looks a lot, usually to talk about whatever the latest trend she's starting is. Sometimes Justin is in the shot too, but this is a formal appreciation post for their epic couple style. I think it's safe to say that Hailey's always chic style has officially rubbed off on her husband.

The couple is currently in Paris celebrating Justin's 27th birthday (remember when he was 17?!) and they wore outfits over the weekend that complemented each other to a T, with Hailey in a monochromatic yellow suit and Justin in head-to-toe blue. Now we must give credit where credit was due, as their standout looks were surely a collaboration between their respective stylist—Hailey's stylist Maeve Reilly posted the look, tagging Justin's stylist Karla Welch. Every once in a while, there’s a moment where all my favorite interests intersect, and my love for film, music, pop culture, and fashion become one. Luckily, this culmination has come to a head in one specific trend that lives in my mind rent-free: Men in jewelry. Of course, men’s jewelry is by no means anything new. In more recent history, the ‘80s had a plethora of famous men such as Prince, Dennis Rodman, and Lenny Kravitz who weren’t afraid to layer on the jewels. These icons paved the way for the moments my colleagues and I tend to gush over: Hollywood’s best-dressed men showing up to the red carpet dripping in jewels. 

And while it may be easy to write off men’s jewelry as something only Harry Styles could pull off, it seems that the trend is everywhere. From popular shows like Hulu’s original series, Normal People creating buzz around Paul Mescal’s character’s signature chain, to Spring/Summer 2021’s most prominent jewelry trends, it’s been made crystal clear that the jewels aren’t just for the girls. Jewelry is universal—it is something that anyone can wear, as it’s unisex and can challenge gender norms. Confession: Ever since spotting actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in HBO’s Watchmen series, my friends and I have been somewhat obsessed with him. It’s not just the fact he unabashedly posts things on Instagram that would be considered a "trap,” or even that he recently won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor; it’s a fact he knows how to serve a look. I mean, what other man can wear a pink suit with a brooch and chain and still make a girl swoon? Yes, I’ve fallen, and no, I really can’t get over this.

Despite the fact we’re in the middle of a pandemic, the men of Hollywood did not fail to bring the heat when it came to serving up some of the spiciest jewelry looks this year. One of those men was the Colombian singer Maluma. Pairing suits with on-trend jewelry pieces such as oversized statement chunky chokers burned down the notion of an otherwise boring suit.

The first time I saw Lakeith Stanfield on screen, it was in FX’s breakout show Atlanta. Since that moment, I’ve remained intrigued. He’s never afraid to layer on the rings or the pendant necklaces, and for that, I have the utmost respect.

He’s regularly spotted wearing a pinky ring, and that, my friends, is male chicness.

Some men can wear the hell out of some gemstones. Jason Moma is one of them. If you’re worried that a men’s jewelry piece with stones such as jade or turquoise may feel too bohemian, then we highly recommend taking a cue from Momoa and pairing it with a suit for a look that may have earthy vibes but is downright heavenly.

Please do not come after me, but I’m fully aware that there are other members of the wildly popular Korean band BTS that wear jewelry like pros. He’ll pair them with everything from cropped sweaters to bedazzled suits, really solidifying the point that jewelry looks just as good on the boys as the girls.

You’ve made it to the end, and if your will is strong, then you’re not fully dehydrated from the full thirst-trap this story is meant to be. Many celebrities have championed men’s jewelry, but none have quite been able to captivate the conversation around men in pearls, quite like Styles. The power couple had a celebrity-packed ceremony at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina on Monday, and we're reveling in the images that are popping up on social media. The couple surprised us by planning what's sure to be an elaborate wedding celebration at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. Leading up to the Monday evening ceremony, the couple, along with a group of their A-list wedding guests including Kendall Jenner and Camila Morrone, stepped out for the rehearsal dinner.

We spotted them boarding a boat en route to the rehearsal dinner on Sunday night, and Bieber's pre-wedding attire is even more stunning than we could have imagined. She chose an elegant off-the-shoulder mini dress in white satin that was custom designed by Vivienne Westwood Couture ahead of the big day. No, really—they haven't left each other's sides, so much so that it's suddenly newsworthy when we spot one of them emerging solo. Outfitted in a Rhude tie-dye hoodie and Nike x Off-White sneakers, the singer proved he can do more than just tell the world how (very) off-duty he is right now; he can nail a 2018 trend while doing it.

If it ain't broke… Bieber saw our interest in his tie-dye hoodie and raised us an entire tracksuit in a (somehow) even more vibrant array of colors. Meanwhile, Hailey's subdued black ensemble seemed to pale in comparison.

Bieber hit his stride here, swapping out the tie-dye for an arrestingly bright Gucci tropical-print shirt and finishing off the look with pool slides. Dad Bieber, everyone.

The magazine also reports that the couple’s still planning on having a religious ceremony and wedding with friends and family—and you can bet we’ll be waiting to see what Baldwin wears for the affair.

Happy birthday, Justin Bieber! The singer turns 24 years old today. Selena Gomez took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion, posting a sweet photo of herself laughing with a polaroid photo. "March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom," she captioned the photo.

This isn’t Bieber’s first foray into collaboration, however. He’s teamed up with Barneys and Urban Outfitters before too. What sets this collection apart from the others is the fact that it’s super affordable. Prices range from $18 to $35, so fans can stock up on the T-shirts, tanks, hoodies, and more at a bargain.

Social media presence or none, Justin Bieber is undeniably one of the biggest stars right now. Currently globe-trotting on his Purpose tour, the fashion-loving singer just released a merch line with Barneys New York, and we’re now learning that a new one will be launching at Forever 21 next week. Through a collab with music merch brand Bravado, the Calvin Klein model is releasing an exclusive eight-piece merch line at the fast-fashion retailer come August 24 online and August 29 in-store.

While we don’t have any photos of the new merch, WWD reports that pieces will be accessible, ranging between $18 and $35. Oversize tees and tops emblazoned with Bieber’s face are expected, along with a long-sleeve tee that reads “Justin Forever.” Mark your calendars, Beliebers, because this capsule is bound to sell out in no time.

Remember way back in July when rumours were flying that Justin Bieber would be the new face of Calvin Klein underwear? Well, all our dreams (or nightmares, depending upon whether or not you count yourself a Belieber) have come true: Bieber is indeed the new face of Calvin Klein's underwear and jeans campaigns.

Bieber shared the news via Instagram today, and WWD confirms it. He stars in the ads alongside model Lara Stone, in poses we assume are throwbacks to the iconic CK ads of the '80s, when Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss modelled in their skivvies for the brand. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot the images in New York.

"Justin’s global recognition, expressed affinity for the brand, and powerful persona bring a compelling energy to our jeans and underwear brands," Calvin Klein chief marketing officer Melisa Goldie tells WWD of the decision to tap the star. Also: The beefed-up Biebs happens to look pretty good in his undies.
