My design life is coming full circle. I am an obsessive maker of many things. I have a love of detail and technique and am always striving to create my dreams and my customers' wishes. I like to think that there are no boundaries to the possibilities. When we get stumped, it’s just because we haven’t figured it out yet. Working with Coach was a great experience. Lately we have been exploring the natural world on many of our boots, creating wildflowers, butterflies, and insects in intricate inlay overlay patterns. Adapting our latest love to the pattern of the Coach Tabby bag was tricky but so rewarding. Meeting and working with their team was a lot of fun. "Teaming up with Coach feels incredibly meaningful because craftsmanship has always been at the center of my work. I’ve spent more than 20 years working with textiles, exploring how material, construction, labor, and tradition can carry a story. Coach has its own deep history of American craftsmanship, so being invited to bring my perspective into that legacy feels both exciting and deeply aligned with my practice. I love the idea that craftsmanship is not something static or nostalgic. It is alive. It evolves through the hands of the people making things now. For me, this collaboration is a celebration of that continuum: honoring skill, material, and tradition while also asking what American craft can look like today.

"The piece took approximately 18 months from the initial design process through final construction. My process is very hands-on and iterative, so a significant part of that time was spent responding to the materials themselves. I develop the composition, cut and arrange the textiles, make adjustments, and continue refining the work as it comes together. Even with a clear initial concept, there is always a conversation between the design and the physical making. That process of building, editing, and resolving the piece is a huge part of the work for me and the team at Coach, and it is where the final piece really finds its identity. "As a fiber artist, this collaboration means a lot to me because it gives tufting a chance to be seen in a different way. So much time, skill, and care go into fiber arts, and I think those artists deserve to be recognized alongside other forms of craftsmanship. Working with Coach was an opportunity to bring that work into a functional piece and show that something can be both art and something people use every day. I love that this collaboration celebrates handmade craftsmanship while helping introduce fiber art to a wider audience. The process took nearly a year from concept to completion. We spent months refining the design and developing a prototype to test how the tufted material would translate onto a bag. Style Notes: After stumbling across Manu Atelier a few years ago, I always wait with bated breath to see what they will do next. You may not know them by name, but you will have seen the brand's Le Cambon bags all over your feed last year. Understandable; after all, raffia totes and buckets are the kind of joyful, seasonal pieces that herald the start of the season (along with flip-flops and sunnies), but this summer, there's a luxury handbag trend quietly gaining traction that has my full attention instead: undone handbags.

Now I've said it, you'll know exactly what I mean, because some of the very best bags to come out of 2026 so far have all been sporting the same micro-detail. "It's a safety hazard!" some readers declared in our IG comments section. "The hardware feels fussy," others debated on Reddit. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez's debut spring/summer 2026 collection for Loewe was rife with standout moments, but one handbag caught my eye: the Amazona 180. "First introduced in 1975," Loewe explained, "the Amazona emerged at a moment of societal and cultural shift in Spain. Its name signals both a new beginning and a continuity: marking Loewe's 180-year anniversary in 2026."

Dior Cigale

"Inspired by La Cigale—an iconic dress conceived by Christian Dior for fall/winter 1952—with its fitted bodice, full moiré skirt, and pronounced pleats, this new bag transposes its sculptural silhouette," Dior explained in a press release. "Crafted from supple, luminous calfskin, the Dior Cigale comes in two sizes—small and medium—and in a delicate palette, from rose soupir to icy blue, trench beige, and moiré gray, in homage to the iconic shades of the house." It was released in mid-March and is available exclusively in boutiques.

Gucci Borsetto

Just this week, the Gucci Borsetto was photographed on Demi Moore at the Cannes Film Festival. Other recent A-list sightings include Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, Kate Moss, Tyla, and Vittoria Ceretti. If that doesn't prove that this is one of the season's buzziest It bags, I don't know what will.

Versace Pivot

The new Versace Pivot is "a tactile, sculptural interpretation of the bucket bag defined by its distinctive hardware, capturing the strength and sensuality at the heart of Versace," the brand explained in a press release. "Bearing the signature Medusa, newly rendered. A distinctive emblem set within a leather oval macaron. An inviting rendering of an icon with an alluring depth to her gaze, capturing the details of the Medusa decorating the door of Via Gesù 12, the original Milan home and atelier of Versace."

Dior Médaillon

Since taking the helm at Dior, Jonathan Anderson has masterfully reintroduced the maison's medallion motif from 1947. My favorite new version of this house code? The Médaillon Flap Bag, which is offered in small and medium sizes. The dusty-pink version, in particular, is calling my name.

As a fashion obsessed editor, I'm always excited to talk about the latest trends to grace the runway, but when it comes to my own wardrobe, I tend to come back to tried and true classics, especially when shopping for designer pieces.
