Congratulations are in order. After officially tying the knot at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall a few weeks ago—where the bride wore a custom, Bianca Jagger-esque Schiaparelli skirt suit and elegant wide-brimmed hat—Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have now shared photographs from the second chapter of their celebrations in Sicily.

For the first stage of the Italian festivities, Dua wore a custom Bottega Veneta halterneck gown featuring the house's signature intrecciato-inspired detailing. For the main event, however, Dua turned to a house with which she has a long-standing relationship: Chanel.

The bride wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture wedding gown adorned with feathers and crystal embellishments. The halterneck design featured a low back and elongated train scattered with delicate feather detailing. She completed the look with a feather-trimmed headpiece and a long embroidered veil.

Handcrafted at Chanel's ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, the gown brought together the expertise of several of the house's specialist métiers d'art. 480,000 beads were hand-embroidered across the dress, whilst the trompe l'oeil jewelled embellishments took 1,155 hours to create. The two-metre train was finished with 25,000 feathers, and Dua's six-metre tulle veil was similarly embellished with hand-embroidered beads and feathers for an elegant, cohesive finish.

The gown marks the first Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for a friend of the house. As an official Chanel ambassador and the face of the Chanel 25 handbag campaign, Lipa's choice of wedding dress felt incredibly fitting.

"Effortlessly chic" gets thrown around a lot in relation to French style, but Paris-based Alfie is the true embodiment of that spirit. Almada Label is quickly rising in the ranks as one to know for minimalist, high-quality basics and has slowly been making its way into the wardrobes of the most elegant and chic dressers, who are wearing the elevated staples from Almada on repeat, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jennifer Lawrence among them.

Designer Amir Taghi takes cues from his Iranian heritage to inform the joyous color and opulent prints in his namesake collection. Precise tailoring and a sense of retro glamour are at the heart of the brand, with swingy car coats, decisive suiting, and sophisticated separates that have earned Gwyneth Paltrow and Eiza González among its fans.

More often than not, I'm the one discovering a brand before someone with celebrity status is spotted wearing it, but this time, I have to give full credit to Sofia Richie Grainge. When I saw her wearing a sculpted cardigan set in burgundy, I immediately needed to know more—who was behind such a great silhouette? The Copenhagen-based brand Birrot, as I learned, whose focus on technical fabrics like the signature two-layered bonded crêpe that Grainge's is made from brings a new POV to Scandi minimalism.

Parisian eyewear label Jimmy Fairly is disrupting the market with its sunglasses and opticals that have trend-forward silhouettes that read as luxury in both the aesthetic and the quality but ring up as affordable(-ish). The oval-shaped Elvie style is a particular favorite among fashion editors and celebs like Jennifer Lawrence alike, and now that they've stuck their flag in the ground with a first U.S. outpost in New York, the hype is only just beginning.

In addition to holding the distinction of being one of the most popular singers in the world, Dua Lipa is one of the most well-dressed singers in the world, and I stand by that statement. If she wears something, you can guarantee that it's a trend or about to be one. So when I noticed she was carrying an It bag in a certain color I haven't seen in a minute, I thought it was significant enough to put on your radar.

The It bag in question is the Chanel 25 bag (Dua Lipa is a Chanel ambassador and the face of the bag), and the previously "dated" color in question is kelly green. Circa 2021 and 2022, kelly green was absolutely inescapable. But as color trends tend to do, it peaked, and everyone moved on to other color trends. But now that some time has passed, it appears that the fashion industry is ready to embrace the bold primary hue again. Something is in the air this Paris Haute Couture Week. Celebrities are all going model-off-duty mode on days off, and it's refreshing to see. Some of these casual outfits are reminiscent of my friends' easy winter uniforms in NYC. Across all five boroughs, there's one jacket that's a mainstay every single winter, a classic black The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket, and Dua Lipa just wore it in Paris while out walking with Callum Turner.

If you're an NYC transplant from somewhere warm, there's a common event we all go through: buying a puffer jacket for the brutal winter ahead. In September, Gucci, under the creative direction of Demna, launched a 38-piece collection. The collection was introduced on Instagram through a series of portraits by Catherine Opie, designed to capture the essence of "Gucciness" through distinct house personas such as The Narcissist, Milanesa, and La VIP. Demna's strategy aimed to build an emotional connection with the brand, focusing on fluidity, character, and renowned design codes.

The following day, the film The Tiger premiered during Milan Fashion Week. The movie starred Demi Moore and was directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn. Here on home soil, we have duos like Sienna Miller and Oli Green, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham and Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge, all of whom make London’s vibrant fashion scene all the more exciting when they step out.

Across the pond, there are established relationships like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake, who prove that affairs of the heart are closely intertwined with those of the style variety. Of course, there are also emerging love stories, like the one between Lana Del Rey and alligator wrangler husband Jeremy Dufrene or Bella Hadid and her real-life cowboy Adan Banuelos, who constantly keep us on our toes with the way they radically dress to their own accord for their outings. As 2026 inches closer, I'm already thinking about all of the trends to come, especially bag trends. Oftentimes, celebrities are the first to step out in the latest trends—especially ultra-forward dressers such as Dua Lipa. She was spotted recently on a night out in Rio de Janeiro wearing the It bag trend of 2026. My prediction is that it’ll be absolutely everywhere in the New Year, as it’s been trending already with luxury brand Khaite at the forefront of it.

Her look consisted of a black top, dark-wash jeans, and, on her shoulder, a zebra-print bag by Jacquemus. Now, we've all seen animal print a ton this year, especially leopard print and snake print, but zebra is back and chicer than ever. The way Lipa styled her zebra-print bag with the darker hues of her top and jeans, mixed with another print, her snakeskin boots, proves it’s a trend worth trying again. I've already been fixated on zebra-print shoes; now bags are just the cherry on top. I’m going to be wearing my zebra-print bag with black coats for now, but once it’s spring again, I’m re-creating this look.

If I'm being really honest with you, every time I hear that a new celebrity is bringing out a beauty line, a part of me wants to say, "Really, another one?" Don't get me wrong, I use a lot of celebrity makeup and skincare brands, from Rhode to Rare Beauty, but these days it seems as if everyone wants to put their name to a product. So, when I heard that Dua Lipa was bringing out a skincare collection, you'd be right in thinking that I initially rolled my eyes and got on with my day.

But, actually, once I did a little more digging, I realised the upcoming Dua skincare line was different. Why? Because she has joined forces with one of the most luxurious skincare lines on the market, Augustinus Bader, to bring out a three-part collection (aptly named DUA™) that essentially replaces almost every single product in your skincare routine.

I've used Augustinus Bader products for quite some time, so I was immediately interested in this collaboration and wanted to know what made these products different from the brand's original offerings. So, like any good journalist, I hopped on a Zoom launch with Dua herself to get the full lowdown and have been secretly testing the entire collection before launch so that I can share my honest, unfiltered thoughts with you first.

DUA™ Skincare Review

What Is DUA™?

As mentioned, DUA™ is a collaboration between Dua Lipa and Augustinus Bader, offering a three-step simple skincare routine for glowing results. It's a collaboration that is said to have formed organically, with Dua already counting herself as a big Augustinus Bader fan.

As I'm sure you can guess, this skincare line is aimed at a slightly younger audience compared to Augustinus Bader's usual target market, and this is reflected somewhat in the price points. While a 30ml bottle of Augustinus Bader's bestselling Rich Cream will set you back £150, DUA™ products range from £32 to £65. While it's not the most affordable skincare line out there, it certainly feels a little more accessible.

The Products

Let's get into the products. Within the collection, there is a cleanser, serum and moisturiser: Balancing Cream Cleanser, Supercharged Glow Complex and Renewal Cream. The idea behind these three products is to keep your skincare routine as simple as possible. Let's face it, Dua leads a busy life, so it makes sense for her to take a streamlined approach.

Harnessing the power of TFC5™ (the fifth evolution of Augustinus Bader's TFC™ technology), each product works to support the skin barrier and enhance long-term elasticity.

If you're already familiar with Augustinus Bader products, you probably know all about TFC8™, a trigger factor complex that contains a blend of hardworking ingredients to support the skin renewal process. However, TFC5™ features a "reduced signaling intensity", making these products more suitable for a slightly younger audience (also justifying the lower price point). As explained by the brand, these products are designed to maintain "healthy-looking skin today while actively safeguarding its future."

My Review

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the products before they launched, and I've tried each one out to give you my honest opinions.

DUA™ Balancing Cream Cleanser

I really enjoyed this foaming cleanser. I would personally never reach for a foaming formula as I find them too drying on my skin; however, the fact that this is a cream-to-foam consistency means it feels rich and hydrating. It is effective at removing makeup and excess oils, and my skin feels clean yet wonderfully soft after rinsing it off. That being said, as someone who loves to double cleanse, I would probably use this alongside another cleanser (or perhaps use this one twice) for a really deep clean.

DUA™ Supercharged Glow Complex

The Supercharged Glow Complex gets a big yes from me. I love that this contains so many hero ingredients, as it removes the need for multiple serums in my routine. The formula feels nice and lightweight on the skin, leaving me with a noticeable glow. I've not been using it long enough to report on any major changes in the appearance of my complexion long-term, but it's already become a staple for me.

DUA™ Renewal Cream

Who knew that a moisturiser could feel so light yet so hydrating all at the same time? This is a great option for everyday, and it sits well under makeup. If you have super dry skin, you might want to reach for a richer moisturiser now and again, but I can see this becoming another go-to of mine.

Overall, I am really impressed with this entire range. It's refreshing to see such a streamlined approach to skincare, and I love the fact that each of the products works together to deliver the best results. The packaging feels incredibly luxe and true to the brand, yet has a slightly more modern feel that fits with Dua Lipa's cool-girl aesthetic. While the collection is still relatively expensive, it feels much more accessible for a brand like Augustinus Bader, and the technology and ingredients behind each product make it feel like a worthwhile investment. I can't wait to continue testing this collection out.

The weather in November can be somewhat unpredictable—especially on the East Coast. For example, where I live, the high temperature reached 75 degrees yesterday. Today, the high is 50 degrees, but lately, many days have had an average temperature around 60 degrees, and I find this to be tricky to dress for. It's not coat weather, but you're going to freeze in just a T-shirt, and a sweater is good for the morning, but you'll probably be toasty by noon. She's joining an ever-growing list of celebrities who are hoping to make their mark on the beauty industry with namesake brands. While it might be tempting to scoff at this before falling into a self-induced state of celeb-beauty-brand fatigue, there's something you should know. Hers is backed by a beauty superpower—Augustinus Bader. The Details

The difference seems to be that the original TFC8 is tailored to mature skin, and TFC5 is tailored to younger skin or skin that has incurred minimal to moderate damage. The brand put it this way: "[TFC5] delivers renewal signals in a more measured way and promotes the skin's natural health by supporting its barrier and enhancing long-term elasticity." The high-tech complex combines biomimetic peptides with moisturizing proteins and protective antioxidants.

Everyone can agree that Dua Lipa, as per a recent Instagram caption, is “never not having fun.” The internet as a whole lives vicariously through the glittering IG dumps of her glitzy tour life and loved-up posts with actor beau Callum Turner, so needless to say, we’re mesmerized by every scroll—often zooming in on the small details that make her so effortlessly cool, like her turquoise lashes and polka-dotted manicures.

Because the latter has become the talk of the beauty-editor town, I decided to go straight to the source—Michelle Humphrey, celebrity manicurist and purveyor of all of Lipa’s coolest sets—to see which fall and winter nail trends we can get ahead of before the in crowd does. Turns out the one thing that makes a set really pop, in Humphrey’s eyes, is when one element is slightly “off.” Allow me to explain.

Whether they’re mismatched, star-spangled, or peppered in black and white florals, the pop star’s nails are all over our Pinterest boards. The chic yet wearable eccentricity that draws us to Lipa’s manicures like moths to a flame is something I liken to the “wrong-shoe theory,” popularized by stylist Allison Bornstein. This theory claims that when most of the elements of a look match besides one (for instance: a dressy shoe with a casual outfit or, in this case, a sheer nude nail polish with 3D bling), your look instantly becomes more interesting. After listening to Humphrey’s musings, it seems that the same applies to nails.

However, if you ask the manicurist, all the credit goes to Lipa. “She’s got the ideas! She’s bringing nail art back,” Humphrey tells me over a video call. “I feel like it went a little flat for a while, and she’s reviving it a bit, which makes my job a bit more exciting, you know?”

One of the first burgeoning trends Humphrey brings up Iris Law’s trendy color combo at Paris Fashion Week. She credits her friend, fellow celebrity manicurist Imarni, for the mismatched manicure, saying she found the unorthodox placements “really cool” in a wrong-shoe type of way. “It's just a bit off,” she says in an admiring voice. “Very cool, in my opinion.”

To achieve this look, be a bit lackadaisical with your polish approach. Choose two colors you wouldn’t normally pair together and one neutral (e.g., Law’s baby-pink polish) to link everything together. Paint most of your fingertips a different color, besides the two next to each other, and choose opposite fingers on the other hand to continue the pattern. “This mix-up of these strange colors is great,” Humphrey muses. “I thought it was banging.”

Jewel Tones

Humphrey abides by the notion that sometimes the best trends to follow are the classics. Enter jewel tones: the reigning color scheme of fall and winter runways, makeup looks, and manicures. She complimented my burgundy nails several times (Olive & June’s almond press-ons in Obsessed, thank you very much), calling the rich wine shade “perfect for winter.”

Another thing the manicurist loves about these rich, vibrant shades is their versatility. Whether you gravitate toward sapphire blue, rich amethyst, or ruby red, you can wear them alone, as accents in negative-space nail art, or combine them like Law’s lawless color combo. “Do you know what could be really cute?” she asks me. “Do that weird three-color look with jewel tones and mash the shades around. That would be a banger.”

Sabrina Carpenter was another celeb who hopped on the Lipa-led polka-dot nail train this summer, and Humphrey doesn’t expect this trend to slow down anytime soon. Instead, she predicts that it will shape-shift as the seasons do. Because Humphrey confirmed that this trend was inspired by the runways (“Loads of fashion was polka dot–based [this summer], so it was like, why not put this on a nail?”), she expects the trend to take on a more autumnal color palette than the summery shades of yore.

Referencing my burgundy nails, Humphrey suggests adding a smattering of white dots, “and you've immediately transformed your polka dot from a spring/summer into an autumn/winter.” Whether you’re working with lighter and deeper versions of a monochromatic color scheme (e.g., a lilac base and deep purple dots, like the above set by celebrity nail artist Iram Shelton) or pairing autumnal tones with white or black dots, there are endless ways to transition this summery design into fall.

Cat-Eye Claws

“Velvet nails, cat-eye nails—they're quite huge at the moment,” quips Humphrey. “I think people are just really enjoying how adaptive it is.” Whatever you call them, there’s no denying the power of the magnetic nail polish trend in 2025, and Humphrey urges you to keep experimenting with it in the cooler months.

To make this polish look a bit moodier for fall, she suggests layering a dark color underneath the magnetic coat to add a bit of depth. “I would do a black [layer], a silver, and then you can layer a jelly color on top to bring it to whatever tone you want,” she recommends. I’d have to agree—stacking “dated” trends like jelly nails on top of chrome finishes is totally in this fall.

"American" Manicure

Not too interested in flashy trends that include things like contrast colors and texture-shifting polishes? Never fear—Humphrey is keeping the minimalists (and chic millennials!) top of mind this season. “There's definitely been a resurgence of something called the American manicure, and that is such a nostalgic nail trend,” she declares. Instead of the pure-white tips we associate with French manicures, the noughties-inspired American manicure involves off-white, more natural-looking tips. “Quite a few of my clients have been requesting that on the regular,” she adds.

Squoval Shape

Your fall and winter manicure revamp may have nothing to do with nail art or polish but everything to do with shape. According to Humphrey, dated nail trends are more current than ever—and lately, everyone in her chair has been asking for squoval nails. “I think it’s definitely back, and I think it needs to stay,” she states. Humphrey praises its “lovely” shape because it’s “structurally sound,” removing the hard corners that come with square shapes to prevent catching on fabrics and surfaces that may cause breakage. She points out that this also makes them last longer, which is important if you can’t make routine salon sessions happen.

Au Naturel

Humphrey knows one thing for sure: The girls are divided, but it’s all in good fun. “Either the girlies are doing nail art and they're having fun with it, or there is the low-maintenance, super-chic, super-cool girl that is just sort of paring it back,” she explains. If you identify with the latter, you’ll be pleased to know that elevated, barely there nail looks aren’t going anywhere this season.

“Whether you want to call it the princess nail, the lip gloss nail…,” Humphrey trails off, “the sheer nude” is still a fall and winter staple. This is partially due to the enormous focus on nail health that the beauty industry is experiencing, and the manicurist isn’t mad about it. If you too are focusing on rehabilitating your tips versus styling them, then this sophisticated trend is for you. “Less is more, basically.”

Yes, jewel tones are the fun “colors” of the cooler seasons, but don’t think that neutrals are going anywhere. Humphrey sees classic warm nudes continuing to thrive as the leaves turn, with shades that resemble “a latte or a cup of hot cocoa” leading the charge among fashion people. If you normally layer your tips in sheer pinks and nudes in the summer, try going a few shades deeper at your next salon visit.

A maxi skirt has always been a favorite fashion item of mine. They're so easy to slip on and can add a sense of elegance to an outfit—even a basic one. Lately, though, I haven’t reached for one in a while. Okay, bear with me. I know this combo isn’t new, but I haven’t seen it much lately, and honestly, I’ve missed it.

Whilst swishy white skirts and classic tees have been front and centre this summer, the graphic T-shirt and denim shorts pairing is currently making a comeback. And it looks just as good as ever. I don't know who needs to hear this, but summer nail looks don't always have to reflect poolside hues and playful, picnic-inspired designs. Yes, those are the trends that tend to live rent-free in everyone's minds as they plot their next OOO message, but the coolest summer manis tend to lean unexpectedly understated—at least according to stylish celebrities and their nail artists.

Case in point? The "tuxedo" nail trend I've been seeing all over my IG feed as of late, endorsed by A-listers across the globe. It's not brand new by any means (J.Lo and Camila Cabello both debuted tuxedo manis during summer 2023), but it's officially back—and classier than ever. Below, discover the sophisticated nail design meant to make you look like a million bucks.

What Are Tuxedo Nails?

You don't have to necessarily commit to bow tie–themed manicures (unless that's your jam, then by all means, carry on!). The "tuxedo nail" trend simply refers to crisp, black-and-white nail designs with some sort of geometric shape—circles, triangles, half-moons, etc. Keep the lines clean and contrasting—unlike aura or ombré nails, which focus more on a soft bloom of color—and you'll wind up with a set that appears sophisticated and classy.

Take Kylie Jenner, for example, who paired her black-and-white gingham Miu Miu minidress with an equally chic "twisted French" design, courtesy of her longtime nail artist Zola Ganzorigt. The look (pictured above!) features two slim, black stripes on the tips of her otherwise classic French—minimal yet mesmerizing. Cardi B also switched up the timeless design at the Stéphane Rolland couture show during Paris Fashion Week, opting for black French tips set against an opaque white base. The set, mastered by nail artist Coca Michelle, beautifully complements the rapper's striking, architectural black-and-white gown.

A tuxedo nail design makes any manicure look instantly more refined, but that doesn't mean you can't take the trend in a more playful direction. Dua Lipa, for one, sported dainty, black-and-white daisies on her nails during her Italian getaway with fiancé Callum Turner. The look still falls within the tuxedo nails camp with its minimal, geometric design, but it's a far more casual, summery option to try. You see, tuxedo nails don't always have to read black-tie.

Ah, to be Dua Lipa on vacation in Italy. She had such a good time during her recent stay in Palermo that she posted a 20-slide carousel to her Instagram account documenting it all. And one of the outfits she featured prominently throughout the carousel included a pair of cutoff denim shorts.

Denim shorts—especially cutoffs—get a bit of a bad rap these days, with some proclaiming that the style is "dated" compared to newer shorts trends. But I am personally team denim shorts, and love to see it when celebrities and fashion people (and celebrities who are fashion people, such as Dua Lipa) find cool ways to style them. And what stood out to me about her Italian vacation denim shorts outfit is that it was quite simple and easy to replicate. It's really all about the shirt trend she opted to wear with the shorts.

The shirt trend in question was a pretty white poplin shirt, and as I recently reported, white poplin and linen pieces are the key to summer outfit success. Dua Lipa's was a ruffled eyelet Chloé one, but every cool brand is making them, and every cool fashion person, such as her, is wearing them. When paired with a white poplin or linen top, denim shorts have never looked prettier.
