Dior is one of the classic European fashion houses with a long list of truly iconic handbags. There's the Lady Dior, which debuted in 1995 and became one of the world's most recognizable designer bags; the Saddle, launched in 1999, which defined the early 2000s; and the Book Tote, introduced in 2018, which is arguably the brand's biggest new bag launch since the Saddle. While all three remain core parts of Dior's handbag lineup, a new design is quietly shaping up to join their ranks: the Dior Toujours—or should I say the reinvented Toujours.

The Dior Toujours is a tote bag designed by former Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri and introduced as part of the house's spring/summer 2023 collection. When it debuted, it received plenty of attention because it was Dior's first major everyday tote in several years. Today, it is beloved for its understated design, supple leather, and practical shape. Now, Jonathan Anderson is at the helm, carving a new path for the brand, and he has reimagined the Toujours for his fall/winter 2026 collection, giving it a fresh slouchy silhouette complete with a removable shoulder strap.

With September just around the corner and the new collections gradually arriving in stores and online, the reinvented Toujours is now available to buy, and the fashion set has been quick to snap it up. We've already spotted it on celebrities like Monica Barbaro, who carried the small white style in NYC and paired it with a blue gingham skirt set. The updated design has also caught the attention of those overseas. During Copenhagen Fashion Week for the spring/summer 2027 season, one attendee styled it with a crisp white jacket, purple pleated pants, and embellished sandals.

Ask anyone to name the most iconic and classic perfumes of all time, and you can bet that Dior's Miss Dior will be up there. Originally launched in 1947, it's amongst fragrance's greats and is one of the best-known Dior perfumes next to J'adore and Poison, and one of the most-loved perfumes in the world today. But on a personal level, Miss Dior isn't just one of the most timeless fragrances, but a truly nostalgic perfume too. It was one of the first "grown-up" scents I owned, and I've seen many flanker versions of the floral perfume come and go over the years (during school in the late noughties, owning a bottle of Miss Dior Chérie meant you were that girl).

However, the original Miss Dior Eau de Parfum has just entered a new era in 2026, and I couldn't be more excited. I got my hands on a bottle of the newly formulated Miss Dior Eau de Parfum ahead of launch—scroll on for what you need to know about the new perfume.

What Does the New Miss Dior Eau de Parfum Smell Like?

The last reformulation of Miss Dior was in 2021, when the scent took on a honeyed, fruity and powdery interpretation, with iris, lily of the valley, apricot-like peony alongside Dior's rose centifolia (which is grown and harvested in Grasse, France) and musk.

The new formulation for 2026 features the distinctive DNA of Miss Dior, but instead features more gourmand notes, including vanilla, almond and tonka bean. The iconic Grasse rose remains, which is instantly recognisable, and is complemented with earthy patchouli, creamy sandalwood and rose wood. Comparing them side-by-side, the former is fruitier and peachy floral, whereas the latest version is distinctly more chypre (think mossy and earthy) and woody, with a smooth, creamy dry-down.

On the first spritz, you're met with that iconic peppery, honeyed rose, which is as soft as feeling the velvety petals between your fingertips in a bouquet. Supple woods come to the fore next, and, once it has dried down hours later, the smooth, comforting vanilla, subtle almond and creamy tonka bean reveal themselves more so, lingering close to the skin and making it feel familiar and nostalgic. In the days I've been wearing it ahead of the launch, I've been asked about it numerous times. It's an elegant perfume you can wear anywhere for any occasion, making it a versatile fragrance to have in your collection.

The New Miss Dior Bottle

It's not just the scent that's had a makeover. The bottle also has a new look for 2026, paying homage to Dior's couture heritage. The iconic Dior houndstooth motif now features on the ribbon tied around the neck, and you can even choose between different colours (I've got the iconic silver and white hue, but you can also choose between pale pink, denim blue, black and white or silver and pink) to customise your bottle and make it your own.

The ribbons are a work of art in themselves, too. Woven by the renowned Ateliers Faure, each ribbon features a special chain weaving technique, where the threads are crossed over 10,000 times per centimetre of ribbon alone. Whilst many of us might not be fortunate enough to own a piece of Dior haute couture in our wardrobes, this bottle allows you to own a piece of the house's craftsmanship on your dressing table. The houndstooth pattern is also found on the bottom of the bottle, with the embossing peeking through the pink fragrance in the glass bottle. In short, it has all the markings of a new classic scent, both inside and out.

It's not often that the words "chic" and "whimsical" go so well together, but at Dior, they do. Examples include Christian Dior's iconic 1953 Tulip Collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri's "Enchanted Wood" Spring 2017 Haute Couture show, and most recently, Jonathan Anderson's playful nature motifs. Lily-pad sandals! Frog accents! Daisy-shaped jewelry! The historic fashion house continues to create visual delights that prove "playful" and "stylish" can, and often do, coexist.

Dior's new fall 2026 makeup collection is no exception. Titled the Lucky Clover Collection, it's inspired by Christian Dior's own lucky charms and features the Hose symbol of the four-leaf clover. It was created by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, and features two color themes: green and pink, which echo the "Charmed Green" and "Lucky Rosewood" looks he designed. "Lucky Clover draws its colors from nature’s changing autumnal palette, as warm tones turn cool, and the forests ignite with reds and brown hues, set against deep green woods," explains Peter Philips.

The collection is fronted by French-Italian model and actress, and Dior ambassador, Deva Cassel. Below, we're sharing an exclusive first look at this exciting new collection before it officially launches on August 15.

As part of the Lucky Clover Fall 2026 Makeup Collection, Dior is launching two never-before-seen color ways of the Diorshow 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($72). Before we get into the specific shades, we have to talk about the packaging. Both come in couture pouches adorned with the House's cannage pattern and new, four-leaf clover icons. C'ést chic!

The two color ways are 365 Charmed Green and 883 Lucky Rosewood. The former contains a harmony of green, balanced by beige and brown shades. The latter features rosewood and taupe hues, elevated by deep burgundy and pearly white. Both feature the four-leaf clover pattern pressed into the surface of the powders.

Dior is also releasing a new shade of the Diorshow Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner ($36). 341 Pearly Green is just that—a deep, shimmering green. Expect full opacity, a creamy texture, and a smooth glide (no pulling or tugging). It promises 24-hour, transfer-proof wear.

Dior Addict Lipstick

Dior is launching two new shades of its iconic Dior Addict Lipstick ($48) "for a lucky kiss of color." 521 Grigri, is taupe with cool undertones, and 541 Wishes is a deep plum color. Both offer intense color and shine with a vinyl-like effect.

They can be mixed and matched with two new chases: Charm, in green, and Lucky, in pink. Charm is embroidered with the cannage pattern and adorned with green clovers. Lucky is embroidered with the cannage pattern and adorned with pale-pink clovers. They'd be a luxe addition to any designer bag.

Rouge Dior Lipstick

The Rouge Dior Lipstick ($50) is also included in the fall collection. Available in two new shades, 951 Talisman (deep, brick red) and 211 Fortunate (orange-beige), it delivers a velvety-matte finish and 24 hours of comfort thanks to a hydrating formula. The bullet of both shades is pressed with the same delicate four-leaf clover design.

Rouge Blush

For a "charmed complexion," Dior is launching two new shades of its Rouge Blush ($49). Meet 889 Charmed Coral, a warm coral with multicolored shimmers, and 849 Lucky Pink: a shimmering pink. Both feature the same clover iconography, and feature skincare-infused formulas to preserve skin hydration.

Dior Vernis

Last but certainly not least, Dior is launching two new Dior Vernis ($34) colors so you always have "the lucky hand." 309 Charm is an iridescent holographic green (so chic!), and 628 Lucky is a muted shimmering rose (so sophisticated!).

Of all the sought-after perfumes in an oversaturated market, none have dominated the discourse quite like Dior Sauvage. Since its 2015 launch, it has become the number one fragrance in the entire world—topping both the men's and women's categories—and one bottle is reportedly sold every 30 seconds. There's no denying its acclaim, but that said, it is a rather distinct blend. With vibrant and spicy bergamot, earthy patchouli, and smoky vanilla, the punchy scent has a trail that refuses to go unnoticed. Some people adore this "beast mode" quality, while others would rather opt for something subtle; no matter which camp you side with, though, you can't ignore that Sauvage is a household name.

Evolving the Sauvage family is no easy feat, but legendary perfumer Francis Kurkdjian (the perfume creation director for Dior since 2021), decided to lean into this unrivaled power by creating the strongest version yet: Dior Sauvage Extrait. "What you see trending right now on TikTok or Instagram is the power of perfumes: the longevity, the strength, how much you put on, or how much you don't have to put on," he tells Who What Wear during an exclusive preview. "We're in a very performance-[minded] environment." Essentially, today's fragrance consumer craves something that commands a room—and Sauvage Extrait is here to turn heads.

Sauvage Extrait is the brand's strongest scent—even more powerful than Sauvage Elixir, which, until now, was Dior's most concentrated version. "I'm not sure if we can go up from here," Kurkdjian admits. The composition itself is also much woodier and denser (whereas Elixir leans sweet and spicy) thanks to an extremely rare oud sourced from a certified supplier in Vietnam. Different types of oud have slightly different scent profiles depending on where it's extracted (some lean smooth and sweet, while others are intense and animalic), and the one here in Extrait reads a bit softer with notes of honey and incense.

"I wanted to include oud wood at the heart of Sauvage, as it has never before appeared in its composition or variations," Kurkdjian shares in a release. Combined with other woody notes, like dark Atlas cedar and patchouli, the juice has an unmistakably rich, mysterious quality. However, Kurkdjian decided to contrast that density with pale Virginia cedar (a more "luminous" wood), vetiver, and lavender to add even more sensuality and sophistication. It's still intense, make no mistake, but it's also unexpectedly breezy.

True fragranceheads will also appreciate the Extrait's maturation process, which takes six weeks (42 days, to be exact) to hit its peak performance. During this time, all the raw materials (the woods, oud, vetiver, etc.) mingle until the composition is perfectly, evenly blended. "Have you ever eaten freshly done ratatouille versus [one that's] two days old?" Kurkdjian poses. Just like how the overall flavor improves the more those spices mingle, the perfume's ingredients create a more harmonious scent profile the longer they converge. This maceration period also helps with its longevity, which, as we mentioned, is the most impressive of the entire Sauvage portfolio.

Despite the fact that strong, long-lasting perfumes are super hot right now, there is a slight gamble with amplifying such a powerful scent. See, "beast mode" perfumes already tend to be a bit polarizing; those who love it, well, really love it, but those who already felt a bit iffy might decide to steer clear. According to Kurkdjian, however, that balance gives a fragrance personality, which is exactly what makes a "good" perfume truly great. Scent and emotion are intimately tied, after all, so it makes sense that a powerful fragrance would garner an equally powerful reaction—be it positive or negative.

"It always brings a debate," Kurkdjian says. "This is what makes a perfume successful. You're going to have that paradox." There's arguably no fragrance more debated than Dior Sauvage, but that's precisely what makes it interesting. With the addition of a super-concentrated Extrait, things are about to get a whole lot more captivating.

All summer long, we've been going on and on about beaded sandals, but what if I were to tell you that it was all to prime you for the main event: fall 2026's most anticipated shoe trend. It all started at Tory Burch's S/S 26 show in New York way back in September of 2025. The most prestigious of all fashion weeks, the bi-annual event is a showcase of wearable artistry, with the capabilities of hallowed ateliers and the exceptional work of the petites mains (a French phrase that refers to the seamstresses, embroiderers, milliners and button makers who create these garments) on full display.

Presenting a collection during the exclusive event is by invitation only, and controlled by Paris’s Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, meaning that only the most exceptional maisons can participate. The result is garments that are nothing short of masterpieces, often taking hundreds of hours to complete and rendered with painstakingly accurate, breathtakingly beautiful hand-stitched embroidery, flourishes, sequins and accents.

Each garment is then made to order using the precise measurements of the ultra-high-net-worth clients who have the extreme fortune of taking these creations home. However, for many of us, it is just a privilege to revel in the sight of these showpieces. 1. At Schiaparelli, Gaudí, Ghostface and Kinky Silicone

For Schiaparelli’s F/W 26 haute couture collection, creative director Daniel Roseberry penned a manifesto on the "magic of creation" which can be "found only in total surrender to the unknown", as he wrote. "Codes—as beloved as they are—aren’t meant to be static," he continued, explaining his decision to eschew conventional Schiaparelli archetypes for something far more imaginative and inventive.

In place of literal anatomical motifs, subversive, surrealist faces were woven into dresses that resembled the Ghostface villain from the Scream franchise. In the place of keyhole symbols, vibrant fish scales adorned dresses and jackets to resemble the architecture and façades of Gaudí masterpieces, including Barcelona’s Casa Batlló.

Furthering the French maison’s innovative spirit, Roseberry fused quotidian materials with superb craftspersonship, creating breathtaking gowns made from subversive latex and dreamy silicone. Indeed, it’s clear that the upper echelon of fashion has caught jelly fever, with Roseberry rendering this gelatinous and aquatic material into sculptural corsets, coral-inspired skirts and sea urchin sandals.

These bustiers were a focal point for the panoply, made by carving the resin mould by hand before casting it with a porcelain effect and rendering it in hyperrealistic shades that melted to the body.

One exceptional moment came not on the runway but in the hours after. The closing look, modelled by Ivy Stewart, was whisked from the opulent parlour inside the Petit Palais where it was presented that morning and immediately transported to the red carpet at Leicester Square, where Zendaya wore it for the world premiere of The Odyssey that afternoon. Talk about an epic adventure.

Elsewhere, on the front row, Schiaparelli continued its procession of awe-striking designs with the silhouettes it dressed its guests in. Emma Corrin, ever the fashion chameleon, was washed in pastel plumage in a feather-adorned jacket accented with a funnel neckline and protruding, nipple-like talons.

Bad Bunny made his haute couture debut in a buttercream suit and gilded tie that appeared as though he was wearing a plait around his neck. Those in the know will recognise this as a callback to Schiaparelli’s F/W 24 ready-to-wear collection, which invoked the tailoring seen in Pippa Garner's 1987 photography collection, Future Man!

The subjects of the legendary 1990 documentary Paris Is Burning might’ve told us that reading is fundamental, but when it comes to fashion, referencing is clearly even more essential.

2. At Dior, Fans, Ferns and a Glimpse at Jonathan Anderson's Bridal Visions

Jonathan Anderson might’ve designed Taylor Swift’s wedding dress, the first haute couture creation of its kind for a celebrity since the Northern Irish designer took the helm of the brand, but he skipped the exclusive New York City nuptials over the weekend ahead to stay in Paris for Dior’s FW/ 26 haute couture show.

Despite remaining quite tight-lipped after the show—he told the press that "it was a joy to work with her"—he did provide a glimpse of what his vision for a bride would entail. In the esteemed couture tradition, he concluded his collection with a dreamy off-the-shoulder white gown, complete with resplendent fern motifs and rosette details.

Botanicals have been a consistent part of Anderson’s work at the luxuriate, from his lily pad heels to his frog chainmail clutches. This season, it took a starring role as the Jardin des Tuileries was transformed into a greenhouse flanked with black-lacquered wood and lined with fronds. On the runway, a verdant, grass-like fabric was woven throughout the collection, appearing in long robes, cropped bar jackets and fringed scarves.

But where boutonnières and embroidered petals constantly appear, Anderson used the collection to honour the work of American sculptor Lynda Benglis. Using her methodology of knotting and moulding as a framework for textile manipulation, Anderson created sumptuous dresses that pleated like accordions. This idea of folding hit a literal note in the suite of fans that appeared in the collection, perhaps a nod to the fact that Paris had just encountered a record-breaking heatwave in the weeks prior? Metallic plissé hats were also a highlight and cemented Anderson as not only an incredibly cerebral designer, but one who always relishes humorous touches.

On a more serious note, Dior also embraced the long-standing relationship between Benglis and artisans in the Ahmedabad and Gujarat regions by showcasing the Indian crafts of chintz and gemstone carving. The latter, a finely woven cotton textile bearing floral motifs, was on display through the clutch bags that bore antique chintz prints that date back to the 18th century.

If designing the most important dress of Taylor Swift’s life wasn’t the biggest thing to happen to Anderson this week, this sophomore show certainly is. But he wouldn’t get by without a little help from his friends: Sabrina Carpenter, whom he also dressed for her magnum opus Coachella headliner, Josh O’Connor, whom he dressed for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers and Alexa Chung, who recently wore a custom chartreuse Dior dress to the 2026 Met Gala.

3. At Chanel, Mattieu Blazy Gets His Happily Ever After

Once upon a time, there was a man named Matthieu Blazy who landed the job of one’s dreams as the artistic director of Chanel. The designer knows his life is a fashion fairytale, and for the French maison’s latest haute couture collection, he materialised the whimsical universe he occupies, complete with climbing vines, beanstalk heels and magpie treasures.

The first model stepped out onto the runway carrying a century-old leatherbound book of fairytales that was owned by Coco Chanel herself. Compounding this ode to fantasy was the soundtrack, featuring snippets of The Lord of the Rings soundtrack and "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None The Richer, arguably one of the most romantic songs of the '90s.

The collection itself was laden with references to literary archetypes and folklore, including a miniature sleeping bear bag that would suit the Goldilocks amongst us and stilettos accented with thorned roses à la Beauty and the Beast. The Golden Goose, Swan Lake, Snow White and Princess and the Pea were all obvious references, too.

Elsewhere, the front row was matched with a dramatic lineup, including Teyana Taylor, Pedro Pascal, Sarah Pidgeon, Alexa Demie and Elizabeth Debecki. The most noteworthy addition was Joël Blanc, a French artist who specialises in live watercolour landscapes from prestigious sporting events, including Roland-Garros. In a world fixated on the return of physical media, could there be a more charming form of documentation than this?

The question that remains, however, is whether Chanel would get its happily ever after. Given that Blazy is quite the romantic, the answer should be obvious. In his imagination, however, the narrative doesn’t end with the princess being swept off her feet by her prince and heading down the aisle, despite the presence of a fantastical wedding dress.

Instead, he looks to the lives of Gabrielle Chanel and Princess Diana, ending the show with a "revenge dress" rendered in sultry black, proving that the women he designs for don’t need rescuing, but rather elegant clothes to write their own stories in.

4. At Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli Returns To Cristóbal's Roots

Cristóbal Balenciaga is heralded as one of the best couturières the world has ever seen. So, it is a demanding task to live up to the reputation of someone so esteemed that his nickname is “The Master”. His successor, Pierpaolo Piccioli, has always worked best in high-stakes settings, with the majority of his most memorable collections at Valentino the most dramatically staged. (Lest we forget the collections that were presented on Rome’s Spanish Steps, Venice’s 12th-Century shipyard or France’s Château de Chantilly.)

For his first haute couture foray as creative director of Balenciaga, Piccoli once again proved himself to be a maestro with a sewing pin. Here, silhouettes, shades and textures were the main visual story, remaining true to the essence of haute couture as a showcase of textile manipulation and craftsmanship. There’s a profound beauty in stripping things back to their purest form. Expressing restraint against conjuring a sartorial spectacle made each silhouette all the more extraordinary.

Here, Piccioli proved himself a virtuoso of colour theory, with the main talking point of the collection being the expressive use of vibrant shades. The collection really ran the gamut of high-octane hues, from vermilion coats to chartreuse gowns and aubergine draped dresses. Some of the standout pieces seamlessly combined several different shades, be it aquamarine blue and slate grey or piquant yellow and royal purple.

If colours were high octane, so were the silhouettes themselves, from the ombre petals that lined one dress to the sequins that adorned another and the rich plumage that cloaked Gigi Hadid as she made her return to the runway.

Though the collection took nine months to create, it isn’t a far departure from the oeuvre he’s been developing over the last quarter-century of his career. And if this collection is anything to go by, we can only wish to have several decades more of him at the helm.

5. At Jean Paul Gaultier, Duran Lantink Becomes Fashion's New Enfant Terrible

After the revolving door of guest designers—including Simone Rocha, Glen Martens and Haider Ackermann—Jean Paul Gaultier has found its artistic lead in Dutch fashion designer Duran Lantink. His debut collection for the French fashion brand had a lukewarm reception, with many criticising his departure from JPG’s signature isms—particularly the marinière stripe, tattooed mesh, and cone bras—as too far gone in the wrong direction. Those naysayers will certainly have a lot to quip about, then, with his debut haute couture collection nothing short of provocative.

The collection itself could be distilled into two desperate ideas. The first surrounded Lantink’s interest in the opulent wardrobes of Louis IV and Marie Antoinette. Rather than take a Sofia Coppola route and subvert the 18th-century silhouettes with contemporary touches, he took a far more digital approach. Indeed, the second theme woven throughout the collection was one that interrogated the role of technology in the creation of fashion.

Here, we melded crinoline skirts with protruding elements, creating shapes that can only be described as what Demi Moore/Margaret Qualley looked like at the end of The Substance. As it did with the former Queen of France, this collection really only had one ending, and that was to send people off with their heads. But what’s a fashion week without a shade of discourse, hey?

6. At Robert Wun, Haute Couture Is Simply "Childsplay"

Robert Wun has become somewhat of a haute couture darling, imbuing the week with an element of magical realism, irony and exceptional craftsmanship. Much like Viktor and Rolf, the Hong Kong-born, London-based designer uses his runway as a forum to create pieces that can conveniently never be worn in mundane settings. There’s no mistaking his pieces as wearable art, even if the remit of where these pieces are suitable for is fairly limited.

His latest collection hit a joyful note, invoking the essence of childhood in ballgowns splattered with splashes of paint, geometric dresses that served as literal building blocks and models carrying adult-sized stuffed animals, including a tweed bear.

The pièce de résistance, however, was the closing look. In a gown that’s reminiscent of the No-Face ghost from Spirited Away, Wun evoked the memories of pre-school parties with a train made out of colourful balloons. Call it a commentary on inflation, or the state of pop-ular culture, but at a time where the state of things feels so precarious, there’s something sweet about returning to this youthful innocence and a time where pining for a blow-up dog and a slice of cake was your only concern. Much like Chloé’s Disney Princess-coded jelly mules, fashion is regressing to its most innocent self.

7. It's a Wonderful World at Pandora With a Chic Party Featuring Alexa Chung, Harry Lambert and Dree Hemingway

As anyone who has attended a fashion week would know, some of the most notable moments aren’t on schedule. (Just look at the fuss Connor Storrie’s Saint Laurent PVC trench coat caused amid a record-breaking heatwave.) Copenhagen-based jewellery brand Pandora, capitalised on the fact fashion’s eyes were on Paris by hosting the launch of their new Pandora Wonders collection.

Co-created with London-based stylist Harry Lambert, the new range reimagines freshwater pearls into childhood-invoking shapes, including ice cream cones and whimsical mushrooms. To celebrate the release of the limited-edition pieces, Pandora and Lambert threw a party at Le Gratin with the chicest guest list, including Dree Hemingway, Alexa Chung, Pat McGrath and Paloma Elsesser. To accompany the novelties, the Danish brand leaned into the French salon feeling with freshly shucked oysters, caviar bumps and free-flowing champagne. The internet never stops churning out new beauty trends, and the changing of the seasons is even more fodder for the “miscellaneous-core aesthetic” preachers. In following the barrage of makeup movements served to me on my aluminum brick, no matter how compelling (I did indulge in the sunburn blush and frosted lipstick trends), I felt that I’d lost my personal sense of style this season. It was only after turning my focus away from the beauty industry that I found a new source of inspiration for spring beauty—and that, my friend, was Jonathan Anderson’s first F/W collection for Dior.

Beauty is, by nature, an extension of fashion. It puts the period on the message the designer is trying to convey through their clothes, whether simple like Prada’s streamlined silhouettes or theatrical like Maison Margiela’s statement-making ensembles. So it’s no surprise that when I discovered the marvel of water lily–inspired shoes, turtle-shaped purses, and chrysanthemum-adorned two-pieces cascading down Dior’s runway at the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, I was quickly influenced to translate the show’s palette into my own look.

Since diving into the pastel world of Anderson’s Dior, I have a renewed sense of appreciation for spring beauty. Ahead, the five trends I’ve adopted from his spellbinding show.

Freshwater Eyes

There is little I love more than a punchy pastel eye, so when I spotted this sky-blue clutch on the runway, I realized that I had Dior’s permission to slather this color all over my lids. Though blue eye shadow isn’t exactly groundbreaking for spring and summer, the retro hue is having quite a comeback in 2026. Even celebrity makeup artist Ash K. Holm declared this color the diamond of the season in an Instagram reel; using Danessa Myricks’s Colorfix liquid pigment in the shade Oasis to achieve her robin’s egg lids.

To channel the bag’s freshwater hue, I opted for Victoria Beckham’s EyeWear cream shadow in the shade Cornflower. After swiping this color all over my lids, I blended the color into my crease with a fluffy brush and intensified the look with Hung Vanngo’s Color Story Eyeshadow Palette in Brilliant Blue. Cool, artful, yet modern.

Cherubic Blush

One of the largest trends we saw emerge from global fashion weeks, award season, and the 2026 Met Gala was cherubic blush: the dreamy diffusion of rosy pigment across the cheeks in a cloud-like manner. The subtle pops of pink sprinkled throughout Dior’s latest womenswear collection feel cohesive with this trend, so I’m leaning into rosy skin this season with a few essential blush products.

Dior’s Backstage Glow Maximizer Face Palette includes a cool-pink shimmer pigment that looks just like the hue of Dior’s chrysanthemum appliqués, and it makes the skin look extra healthy thanks to its shimmery finish. (Disco blush, if you will.) I’m also throwing one of Sabrina Carpenter’s go-to liquid blushes into the mix and blending Violette_FR’s new Plume Eye Shadows in the shade Pluie Violette onto my lids for a monochrome look.

Water-Lily Nails

Perhaps the most literal beauty interpretation of this collection that I’ve seen yet is this set by Milan-based professional and editorial manicurist Oksana Zavora. Each nail is accented with a smattering of water lilies, chrysanthemums, pastel French tips, and 3D decals in the form of bubbles or rhinestones—all directly inspired by the collection itself.

If having different nail art on each tip feels intimidating, try alternating milky pink, baby blue, and pastel green shades from finger to finger to get a similar look. I’m also referencing Chanel’s mermaid nails from the fashion house’s latest Cruise 26/27 show—where alternating colors were utilized in sheer, chrome shades—for this whimsical aesthetic.

Chiffon Lips

I usually don’t gravitate toward pink pinks when I do my makeup, no matter the season or the occasion. However, something about Anderson’s use of baby pink in this collection made me rethink my ways. When I got hold of Prada’s brand-new Touch Blush—a cream-to-powder product in elevated, pigmented shades—I used it about half of the time on my cheeks and the other half on my lips. The shades Waterlily and Tulip look extra sweet when tapped onto the lips, especially when applied atop YSL Beauty’s Kiss Shaper liners.

Fruity Femme Fragrances

If Dior’s relatively springy fall collection had a scent, it would be a flurry of fresh greenery, blooming flowers, seasonal fruits, and plump dewdrops. This bouquet of scents got me thinking about floral fragrances that flirt with notes of juicy fruit and sweet earth—so I quickly edited my spring perfume collection to include these three.

It may seem a little too on-theme, but I’d be remiss to overlook Dior’s sumptuous spring perfume offerings. Dior Addict Rosy Glow Eau de Parfum is a new scent that lands on the sweet end of the spectrum with a fruity, lychee base (an extremely popular ingredient right now) draped in a canopy of Damascus rose and dashed with creamy vanilla. For something a bit more sheer and green, I’m tossing Diptyque’s Vetyverio Eau de Toilette into the mix, and Jo Malone’s Poppy and Barley Cologne is my seasonal pick for something juicy and sweet that doesn’t lean gourmand.

In place of traditional show notes, a movie script sat on each seat at the Dior cruise 2027 show in Los Angeles. The brand's new creative director, Jonathan Anderson, dreamed up a cinematic version of the press release in which designers typically explain their inspirations and credit collaborators. As it turns out, it was a precursor of what was to come down the runway: fun, inventive twists on the familiar.

The show perfectly melded the past, present, and future of Hollywood: The moody Hitchcockian lighting and film noir references captured a bygone era, while the just-opened gallery setting and a front row filled with the next generation of Hollywood icons, including Miley Cyrus and Maude Apatow, evoked the industry's current landscape and next chapter. "Christian Dior understood how important the idea of 'the dream' was for people after the war, as a form of escapism," Anderson wrote in the script. "He explored this in couture; his surrealist friends were obsessed with dreams and, of course, Hollywood is 'The Dream Factory.' It was all part of the same cross-cultural shift." Setting the Stage

Los Angeles has no shortage of landmarks that could have hosted Dior. Still, the house smartly set up shop at the city's newest, buzziest attraction: The David Geffen Galleries at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), which just opened less than a month ago. With its brutalist architecture designed by Peter Zumthor, the atmospheric setting was the perfect backdrop for the show. Dior even wheeled in vintage American cars, echoing the collection's bags inspired by retro Cadillac leather seats.

Screen Sirens

In the show notes, formatted as a movie script, Jonathan Anderson explained that the 1950 film Stage Fright was one of the main starting points for this collection because Christian Dior designed the costumes. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Marlene Dietrich, the twisty thriller follows an aspiring actress who gets tied up in a murder investigation. Anderson injected this Old Hollywood vibe throughout the collection. "A Dior gray wool flannel coat appears striped with the geometric shadows of Venetian blinds—an echo of film noir," the show notes read.

Fresh Perspectives

This season, Anderson reinvented some of Dior's most memorable motifs, including John Galliano's newspaper print, which now lives on a slouchy leather chain-strap bag. The Dior Saddle bag was also given new life with car-paint finishes and motor-key charms.

Star Power

There's no doubt that Dior's show was the place to be last night. Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jisoo, Tracee Ellis Ross, Miranda Kerr, Taylor Russell, Jeff Goldblum, Ziwe, Leslie Mann, Ejae, and Who What Wear's May cover star Maude Apatow were among the front-row guests. Carpenter had the privilege of wearing the collection's opening look before it even hit the runway. Now that's some serious pop-star pull.

Trend Forecast

Drop-waist dresses, fringed jackets, shredded jeans, feathery rosettes, California poppies, and long scarves were among my favorite trends from Dior cruise 2027. Baby pink and powder blue lived alongside royal purple and canary yellow, while gray flannels and brown plaids grounded the color palette this season.

Light-wash jeans are officially back thanks to Dior, Jonathan Anderson, and Miley Cyrus. At the French fashion house's cruise 2027 show in Los Angeles, the latter showed up looking cool and casual, donning a pair of light-wash jeans with patchwork details and a matching snap-up collared shirt. The golden undertones also ensure a natural-looking tan that lasts for a good few days before needing to be reapplied. If you don't like any shimmer on your skin, then you've been warned, as these are definitely on the more iridescent side, but I'm personally a big fan.

"Michael Rider's collections for Celine have felt like a breath of fresh air, and for fall, the designer took his vision of bourgeois prep that's defined his first few Celine runways and made it a bit, well, quirkier. I was immediately drawn to the way that personality pieces like brooches and charm necklaces made all the sleek tailoring a little more unfussy and unserious. It felt like a cross between your favorite art teacher and a chic Parisian art gallerist. It's exactly the way I want to dress next season (and truthfully, this season, too), and I'll be looking to incorporate pops of royal purple and maybe a charm necklace or two."

Dior

"Dior is in its playful era now that Jonathan Anderson has taken the helm. Anderson has breathed new life into the storied fashion house, which is no small feat given Dior’s stature. For fall, Anderson leaned into shape and structure, with peplum jackets and cardigans as the focal point of multiple looks, paired with everything from equally voluminous ruffled skirts to sleek denim. I could go on and on about the outerwear—the cinch-waist feather-trimmed coat, checked robe coats, sherpa-lined snakeskin jacket, brocade coats, cascading leather jacket—the list goes on. Thanks to this collection, I’m ready to skip summer and go straight to fall."

Chanel

"Minimalism has become the most common theme among runway shows these past few years, but lately, that aesthetic has started to feel performative and lost my attention. That's exactly why Matthieu Blazy's F/W 26 collection at Chanel felt like a breath of fresh air. Rather that stripping things back, he leaned all the way in to what makes Chanel fun. Building a maximalist, bold, cinematic fantasy world that was the polar opposite of quiet luxury. What struck me most was his reimagining of Chanel's iconic tweed. Trend cycles aside, a great tweed jacket is a permanent fixture in my wardrobe, and Blazy's interpretation reminded me why. Layered with eclectic accessories and an unexpected color palette, each look felt like a scene from a Great Gatsby– or Alice in Wonderland–themed film. After seeing the buzz around this debut collection with the brand, I'm sure the line will be once again wrapped around the building when this one hits stores."

Alaïa

"Pieter Mulier's final collection for Alaïa was both emotional and beautiful. For the last time, Mulier removed accessories such as bags and jewelry from the looks, allowing the focus to be on the elegant garments designed to honor the female form. This deliberate, pared-down approach, used to highlight Mulier's signature craftsmanship, made the collection memorable. While outerwear and dresses were the main focus, each piece made a bold statement. For example, the simple, formfitting sleeveless dresses with contour seaming offered understated beauty and countless styling options. The jersey dresses, detailed with crocodile print down the front, directly paid tribute to Mulier's favorite Azzedine pieces and were impactful enough to stand alone. In the coat section, many designs featured a body-hugging fit that subtly flared at the hips with pleats, maintaining the sculptural precision that has defined the house for decades."

Saint Laurent

"Anthony Vaccarello's winter 2026 Saint Laurent collection was a well-tailored presentation of sheer seduction and attention-demanding suits that led a 'conversation between the parameters of femininity and masculinity,' as stated in the show notes. The creative director's decision to revisit Yves Saint Laurent's 1966 Le Smoking was most memorable. A collection of single- and double-breasted suits walked the runway with a 'nocturnal elegance,' as the show notes described, backed by a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Cutting the tension of the sharp suits was Vaccarello's inclusion of sheer lace bodysuits and drop-waist fur coats. It's clear to me that Vaccarello's Saint Laurent winter collection will define the style set's wardrobe this fall, either through the pieces themselves or by re-creating the show's silhouettes."

Tom Ford

"I'm obsessed with Tom Ford's extra-sexy F/W 26 collection. I love the low-rise pants with the belts hanging at the waist. It was very '90s and effortless that I will be re-creating even in the spring. It's just hot and easy, which is the vibe I'm definitely trying to give throughout the rest of this year, and the whole collection kind of gave that too. I also loved just how creepy the show was since it was inspired by American Psycho—such a classic, freaky film."

Caro Editions

"Across all the different cities, it's really hard to pick just one, especially with all the emerging designers. That said, I keep thinking about the Caro Editions show in particular. To me, it epitomizes the glamorous dressing trend, which I feel like is ultimately timeless. I think of Old Hollywood, silk dresses, kitten heels, vintage fur, and oversize sunglasses."

In my opinion, choosing the best perfume isn't just about how it smells, but also how it makes you feel. Some days, I want my perfume to make me feel powerful, so I reach for punchy floral fragrances that I know will do the job. On days when I need a spring in my step, citrus scents are what I reach for. And for cosy days at home, it's woody perfumes that call my name. First launched in 1999 and created by master perfumer Calice Becker, this iconic scent is widely considered the height of luxury. The olfactory equivalent of solid gold, it sparkles on the skin, revealing a striking floral blend of jasmine and rose. Even the bottle's silhouette, designed by Hervé Van der Staeten, is iconic. Dior L'Or de J'adore

Created by the brand's perfume creation director, Francis Kurkdjian, L'Or was released in 2023. Building on the iconic scent, Kurkdjian designed a modern iteration where each floral note bursts onto the skin with such velocity that it's hard to imagine wearing any other fragrance. Although I usually gravitate towards lighter perfumes in the spring and summer months, this is actually my go-to holiday scent as it has a solar quality that feels warm and inviting, like sparkling blue waters and golden sands.

Dior J'adore Eau de Parfum

The original is, hands down, the most iconic scent. Every time I wear it, I'm reminded why this perfume is so popular. The heady, sensual aroma makes me feel as if I'm dripping in gold, with a luminous floral bouquet of rose and jasmine. It doesn't matter where I am, one spritz of this and suddenly I'm transported to the Champs-Élysées with a champagne in hand. If you want to embody an elegant Parisian this spring, this perfume is the quickest way to do so.

Dior J'adore Intense

J'adore Intense is the latest release from the brand. Another masterpiece from Francis Kurkdjian, this fragrance was created with Rihanna in mind. In my opinion, it takes the heady, sensual aroma of the original fragrance to whole new heights. Each flower is amplified, cocooning the senses in the golden nectar. It's lavish and decadent, with undertones of sandalwood offering a warm, skin-like scent that lasts all day.

Dior J'adore Eau de Toilette

In contrast to the above, the brand has also created an Eau de Toilette for those of you who prefer something lighter. In my opinion, this feels like a bright, youthful take on the original, with a citrusy opening that's both invigorating and modern. It still has that distinctive floral undertone, but it's heightened by fresh, fruity notes that make it incredibly distinctive.

Dior J’adior Solid Perfume

Dior is always thinking of new, innovative scents, and this solid perfume is one of my favourite creations from the brand as of late. Not only is it the chicest handbag accessory, but the alcohol-free formula can be applied directly to the skin for an intimate fragrance experience. The highly concentrated wax melts on contact with the skin, leaving a seductive scent trail of jasmine and rose in its wake. Not only that, but the clear formula contains small flecks of gold glitter, adding an iridescent finish to the skin. Before a night out, I apply this to my neck and décolleté, and always feel like a million dollars.

The style bar has been set high by festivities like the Vanity Fair pre-Oscar party and the Who What Wear "Carbs Before the Carpet" dinner, culminating most recently in the star-studded W Magazine x Dior dinner.

Last night at Mr. Chow's in L.A., W Magazine's editor in chief Sara Moonves and Dior's creative director Jonathan Anderson cohosted an exclusive dinner. In true Dior fashion, the A-listers' elegant attire suggested this year's Academy Awards could be the most fashionable in recent memory.

Attendees included Oscar-nominated Teyana Taylor, who wore a striking white fringe jacket with a cinched waist and voluminous gray trousers (look two from Dior's pre-fall 2026 collection). For those less in the fold, Paris Fashion Week is the last of the ‘Big Four’ cities on the schedule. Last, but certainly not least. In fact, most would probably say that Paris is the most exciting of all. From big players like Dior, Chanel, Loewe, Balenciaga and Chloe, to cult favourites like Acne Studios and Jean Paul Gaultier, as well as some of Britain’s finest like Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney and McQueen, it’s a jam-packed schedule of one stellar show after another. As such, us editors on the ground are both inspired and exhausted in equal measure by the very end. The shows! The presentations! The parties! The trends! There’s so much to do, see, touch and enjoy, it really is sensory overload. But one we’re happy to have.

Autumn/winter 2026 is an interesting time and a highly anticipated season in fashion. The autumn/winter collections are always a bigger focus than spring/summer, so there’s a higher degree of pressure to deliver. What’s more is after the ‘big reshuffle’ that took place in time for last season, with over 16 new creative directors at major houses, this was the sophomore collection for a lot of high-power luxury brands and the debut of their autumn/winter vision for the respective brands.

In light of this, there’s simply so much to unpack. Particularly so with the major trends that came through from the French capital. To name a few, I noticed a lot of sharp tailoring, some expected and others less so. From Saint Laurent to Givenchy, Dior to Victoria Beckham and Tom Ford, sharp suits had a major moment. There were equestrian influences, too, to marry with the Year of the Horse. Stella McCartney even presented her collection in an actual riding hall with a magnificent horse show at the centre.

Adding to this, check prints, waterproof garments in transparent plastic materials as well as multiple collections that echoed last season’s obsession with the ‘80s, it was yet another display of joy, colour and fantasy.

5 Key Trends From Paris Fashion Week: Autumn/Winter 2026

1. Horse Power

Style notes: According to the Lunar New Year, 2026 is the Year of the Horse. And let’s just say fashion got the memo. From Stella McCartney’s horse show extravaganza within the Paris riding hall Bois de Boulogne, to Acne Studios, Chloe and Hermes (of course) bringing full horse girl energy by way of over-the-knee boots, belted blazers and silk neckerchiefs, equine influences were scattered throughout the week. Whilst equestrian style can venture into feeling slightly preppy, prim and proper, it is here sharp and streamlined. Whilst McCartney's version felt sportier and slightly more casual with jeans, Schiaparelli's three-piece suit in butter yellow was cinched and snatched.

2. Check Mate

Style notes: Check prints will always have some kind of presence on the runways, because let's face it, they're timeless. But this season there were too many to count, and in different variations. Where Dior, Dries van Noten and Acne Studios layered multiple checks one on top of the other, especially on tailoring and outerwear, Chloe stayed true to its bohemian roots, with a ruffled high neck maxi dress. At Matthieu Blazy's Chanel we expected checks across tweed sets, but not like they came in the closing few looks. Chainmail tartan midi skirts, jewel-adored blazers and trench coats finalised his epic collection—and cemented the resoundingly positive reviews.

3. Against the Elements

Style notes: It may come as no surprise that an autumn/winter season might provide much protection against the cold and wet weather. But be it Loewe's XXXL rubberised coats, vinyl trench coats at Off-White and Louis Vuitton and metallic windbreakers at Cecilie Bahnsen, practicality was a major focus on the outerwear front. Even Haider Ackermann's triumphant collection at Tom Ford, which many likened to the costume in the 2000 film American Psycho with its array of sharp '80s-style suits, also included a series of clear plastic waterproof garments, from hooded raincoats to skirts. If you're as much a fan of the film as I am, you'll remember the protagonist Patrick Bateman putting on a plastic raincoat in a specifically violent scene. Of course, none of these connotations are carried with these pieces, but the stylised and cinematic quality this use of plastic gave, instead of feeling cheap, was well noted amongst editors and critics alike.

4. Avant-Garde Silhouettes

Style notes: If there's one thing we love in fashion, it's drama. We live for vibrant colour palettes, the mixing of materials, prints and, naturally, a few voluminous silhouettes. This season wasn't exactly a sea of streamlined cuts—quite the opposite. For Mugler it was all about the strong shoulder, as ever the house stayed true to its '80s DNA. Meanwhile at Victoria Beckham, it was a dress with cut outs at the waist that left a notably on-brand 'V' shape at the front, that made an impact. At other designers, the extreme, almost avant-garde silhouette took a more dramatic formation. Louis Vuitton closed its show with several heavy shouldered, spatial pieces, that felt more like a work of art than clothing. Similarly at Vacquera, a bridal look came in a spherical shape. But my favourite of all the innovative shapes came on a deep red velvet dress at Jean Paul Gaultier, which followed a fishtail silhouette, but was—as ever with Gaultier—so much more than this.

5. Fur, Fur, Fur

Style notes: Faux fur—in its many forms—is officially back again in autumn/winter 2026. ICYMI, it had a major presence in the winter collections in 2025, but new tones, textures and coat cuts make this timeless style feel fresh. Saint Laurent's ultra short, but oh-so big on the shoulders, belted jacket was nothing shy of impactful. As too was Givenchy's take on an animal print full-length number, which I particularly enjoyed with the pairing of red accessories. Zimmermann on the hand showcased a series of furry shawls in different shades of brown. Some tied together with a brooch, other jacket or coat styles were belted, or worn loose and effortlessly off the shoulders. But my favourite of the brand's fur accents was the green-tinged lapels on the the khaki leather bolero, which when paired over the lace skirt and lingerie bodice, felt like true twenties perfection.

In the immortal words of Miss Congeniality, the perfect date is one that falls in spring, as it’s not too hot, not too cold, and all you need is a light jacket. The pageant star might’ve conflated her favourite day of the Gregorian calendar with a question aimed at sparking romance, but the point still remains.

When leaving the house during these tranquil, transeasonal moments, you’re able to move lightly without being weighted down by heavy winter warmers or engulfed in summer heat. Truly, the cornerstone of our wardrobe becomes these hard-working, albeit extremely nimble, staples designed to complement your trousers, skirts and saccharine dresses.

As for what styles to layer, the runways were saturated with a plethora of notable spring jacket trends. A season marked by triumphant debuts and an overall joyful mood, the collections presented across each of the style capitals felt buoyant, triumphant and bright. As a result, the outerwear intended for the chic natives in Manhattan and Le Marais feels lighter, more effortless and designed to be thrown on before running out the door.

Without elaborate decoration or fussy details, these pieces are underscored with a quiet strength that makes them as breezy to build an outfit around as they are to wear. It's been nearly a decade since former Christian Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri debuted J'Adior footwear in her first collection for the French house back in 2017. There have been a number of different iterations since, and now that Jonathan Anderson has taken her place at the helm, another fresh take has arrived on the fashion scene.

Part of the Irish designer's first Dior drop, the brand-new Dior J'Adior Ballet Flats feature an entirely different silhouette from the pointed-toe slingback we're used to from the brand. To answer that question, I ran the numbers. Across fashion and beauty, clear patterns emerged around the pieces readers consistently returned to.

In fashion, there was a focus on familiar household names, and Adidas, COS, Reformation, H&M, Nordstrom, and Puma topped the list. The Fashion Results

The number one best-selling fashion item of 2025 among Who What Wear readers was the Adidas Samba OG Shoes. In fact, the top four best-selling items were all Adidas sneakers, and several more styles landed in the top 15.

At number five were the Open Edit Tori Kitten Heel Sandals, which many of our editors own and highly recommend. Nordstrom's in-house label was also popular, and its Cashmere Crewneck Sweater came in at number seven.

During spring and summer, we saw an expected rise in linen, making it no surprise that the Caslon Wide-Leg Pull-On Linen-Blend Pants were a best seller.

The rest of the list includes wardrobe staples such as the COS Clean Cut Regular T-Shirt, the Reformation Clara Cashmere Crew Cardigan, and the Puma Speedcat Sneakers.

I was just as curious to see which beauty products were at the top. In the number one spot with 411 purchases was the Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner.

Coming in second was Chanel's Le Vernis nail polish, which makes sense given the enduring popularity of Ballerina alone. Merit's Flush Balm Cream Blush was third, followed by Armani Beauty's Luminous Silk Natural Glow Foundation and another Merit standout, the Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner.

Dior's Addict Lip Glow Balm came next alongside the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner. Pillow Talk Medium is a personal favorite of mine.

After appearing repeatedly on TikTok following its launch, Armani Beauty's Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow was number nine. The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm also made the list, which is another staple in my routine, particularly in Brown Sugar.

La Bouche Rouge

A relatively new brand on the French beauty scene (it launched in 2017), La Bouche Rouge offers luxurious, sensorially appealing products that double as works of art. Paris-based aesthetician Sophie Carbonari is quick to praise its craftsmanship and clean formulas, noting that the refillable leather cases " feel like a precious object you keep for years." The brand offers a smattering of makeup staples, including blush sticks, eye shadow palettes, and high-quality brushes, but the lipsticks are arguably the main characters. Says Carbonari, they "have this beautifully velvety, refined finish [that's] chic, understated, and so Parisian."

Hermès Beauty

I likely don't need to convince you of the Hermès Beauty allure. The luxury house has some of the chicest makeup (and nail) staples around, housed in sophisticated packaging you'll want to immediately display on your vanity. "Hermès Beauty has this effortless elegance I can’t resist," agrees Carbonari, who is a major fan of the brand's velvety lip products. I'd wholeheartedly agree. Though, I'd also add an eye shadow palette and burgundy mascara to your cart as well, for good measure.

Embryolisse

You didn't think we'd skip the pharmacy aisle, did you? Embryolisse may be best known for its cult-famous Lait-Crème Concentré, but the brand does have a few subtly tinted offerings for a healthy, luminous glow. I personally adore the Apricot version for allover warmth, but the Rose works wonders as a dark circle–neutralizing color corrector—a tip I learned from French makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis back when the creams made their official Stateside debut. Just a pea-size amount of product is all you need to counteract blue-green shadows, which means you'll wind up using way less concealer later on (and French beauty is nothing if not minimal!). While you're at it, Inglessis recommends snagging the Masque Hydratation Intense and the Lait-Crème—both great formulas to apply before your complexion base.

YSL Beauty

Carbonari puts it simply: "A French icon." The luxury brand is responsible for some of the most time-honored beauty staples of all time (looking at you, Touche Éclat Concealer Pen!), and it has something for everyone, whether your aesthetic leans chic and minimal (I present to you the Loveshine Lip Oil Stick) or you're gunning for more of a "moody Parisian" vibe. Carbonari personally can't get enough of the Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara: "It brings instant definition and volume without clumping, and it gives the lashes that bold, flirty intensity I love," she says. "Whenever I want that classic 'French eye,' this is the one." It's sadly out of stock at the moment, but the Lash Clash Extreme has very similar volumizing capabilities.

Sisley Paris

My beauty routine is slowly transforming into an all-Sisley lineup—and that just might be the chicest sentence I've ever written. The French beauty brand has some of the most luxurious skin, hair, and makeup offerings on the market with the high-powered botanicals and elegant packaging to prove it. The stunning lipsticks are surefire winners, but Carbonari gives a special shout-out to the ultra-precise Stylo Correct concealer pen. "Lightweight but effective, it brightens without creasing and feels beautifully skincare-infused—very Sisley," she quips.

Violette_FR

Of course, we can't discuss French makeup without mentioning Violette Serrat, French makeup artist and founder of Violette_FR. Her beauty brand has amassed a cult following, from beauty editors to fellow makeup artists to celebrities (hi, Hailey Bieber), but if I had to pick out a few star products, I'd say opt for the Bisou Balm sheer matte lipstick and Yeux Paint liquid eye shadow. The former is the only item you'll need for that quintessential French blurred lip, and the latter has incredible color payoff and comes in a smattering of chic shades.

According to Parisian-based content creator Léna Farouil, the brand's Petal Bouche liquid lipstick is also not to be missed. "It’s full coverage, velvety matte and long-lasting—my true 'power era' lipstick for nights when I want to impress," she says.

Dior

When it comes to designer makeup, both Farouil and Carbonari praise Dior's lavish creations, namely its complexion offerings. "I love the Forever Skin [foundation] for days when I want a more complete and polished makeup look," says Farouil, while Carbonari treasures the Backstage Face & Body Foundation. "I love its versatility," she notes. "You can sheer it out for a second-skin glow or build it up seamlessly. It photographs beautifully, and the shade range is genuinely inclusive—always reliable in my kit." Another winner from the Backstage collection, the Rosy Glow Powder Blush is my personal MVP for a high-impact pinch of color, and I must call out the iconic Lip Glow Oil—super glossy with juicy, long-lasting pigment.

Guerlain

Talk about objets d'art. Guerlain's luxurious products—from the refillable lipstick cases to the handmade highlighting pearls—truly make you feel like the fanciest French lady alive. Each deserves to be displayed on vanity, though Carboanari and Farouil both adore the Rouge G Lipstick, which comes with the aforementioned refillable case. "Nothing beats a good lipstick when I want to feel like the most glamorous version of myself—a little old-school Hollywood but make it Parisian," shares Farouil, who calls this Guerlain hero her "little luxury ritual."

Carbonari agrees ("It feels like makeup as a couture accessory," she says), also noting the bullet's rich yet comfortable texture. In terms of complexion products, she recommends the Terracotta Luminizer for a touch of warmth without glitter. "It gives that '[lit] from within' glow—exactly what I look for when I want skin to look alive and effortlessly luminous," she adds.

Le Rouge Francais

According to Inglessis, all the Le Rouge Francais lipsticks are worth your dollar—and I'd wholeheartedly agree. My personal favorite shade is Raspberry Red (a perfectly blurred berry), but the electric crimson and light pinks are just as vibrant and dreamy. The bullet itself is embossed with a gorgeous botanical design, which makes each lippie feel like such a little luxury. I have the lip oil and tinted balms too and can't get enough of both skin-softening staples.

Aime Skincare

"My everyday makeup is from Aime Skincare," shares Farouil, who specifically touts the complexion stick, tubing mascara, and cream blush as her all-time favorite grabs. "Natural, fresh, skin-respecting… It's my perfect 'no-makeup [makeup]' routine." The multi-category brand—which also offers a variety of supplements and collagen powders—is relatively new to the U.S. market. Though, it's a mainstay for savvy French beauty enthusiasts. Pulling the sleek silver packaging out of your bag is essentially a sly nod for shopping with the locals.

I may be a little biased considering my job title, but I firmly believe that holiday makeup collections are the best treasures. There's just something about a limited-edition formula or shade housed in frosty, festive packaging that makes my heart sing—so much so that I often find myself saving these exclusive palettes, bullets, and tubes long after the pigment has depleted. And then there's Dior. The brand is already responsible for some of my favorite glam staples of all time (namely the Rouge Dior in 999, the Diorshow Mascara, and, of course, the cult-favorite Lip Glow Oil), but its holiday collections are always nothing short of magical. This year's collection doesn't disappoint.

Drawing inspiration from circus arts, the assortment hones in on enchanting shimmer—from embossed lipsticks to silky eye shadow palettes to pearlescent nail lacquers—in a way that, despite its theme, doesn't lean too far into stage-makeup territory. This is Dior we're talking about, so you can expect only the most elevated offerings. Imagine the light-reflecting sheen from a luxurious velvet chaise or twinkling champagne flutes huddled on a silver tray, whispers of shimmer that feel chic, sophisticated, and so very Dior.

I've been wearing the collection for weeks (you know, testing the waters ahead of the holiday-party circuit), and it's just as divine as it looks on-screen. Jennifer Lawrence instantly made headlines when she arrived at the 20th Rome Film Festival for a screening of her latest project, Die, My Love. It's effortless and understated in true J.Law fashion, but that's precisely why I've been unable to forget the look since Monday. With a flash of a camera lens, Lawrence has exhibited a masterclass in French-girl glam—and I've taken notes.

Let's start with the swoon-worthy hairstyle of the night: an intentionally tousled French twist coiffed by celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell. Usually, swoops like these are sleek and polished, but I love how Lawrence's has more of a top-knot feel with tons of texture. Her face-framing tendrils are pulled loose, and her eyebrow-grazing bottleneck bangs are fluffier than ever with a slight wave. It's like the unbothered, cool-girl version of a twisted chignon, and I now have four photos at various angles living in my Favorites folder.

As for Lawrence's makeup, I'm officially calling it the French-girl fall trifecta: soft-matte skin, a subtle flick of inky eyeliner, and a moody lip. I'm currently waiting with bated breath for celebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell to drop the product lineup, but it's clear that she dressed Lawrence's pout with a rich, glossy berry situation. I'm personally planning on wearing the hue all season long, so I've done my fair share of product research for the perfect, berry-stained bloom of color. Just five days after Jonathan Anderson's debut Dior runway show, one of his most provocative pieces traveled over 5000 miles from Paris to Los Angeles. The occasion? The premiere of Guillermo del Toro's highly anticipated new movie, Frankenstein. The lucky wearer? None other than Mia Goth, Who What Wear's October cover star. The sheer number of designer debuts at fashion month this season is unprecedented with more than 15 new creative directors stepping into roles at some of the biggest maisons. One of the most anticipated takeovers of the season arrived today at Paris Fashion Week with Jonathan Anderson’s first womenswear collection at Christian Dior. Back in the summer, the Loewe alum showed an initial look at his vision for Dior for the spring 2026 menswear collection, which was met with acclaim with its reworked Bar jackets, conceptual chino short silhouettes, elaborate Louis XVI coats, and preppy knits.

Today, we saw more from the new chapter at Dior with his spring 2026 womenswear collection. In both his menswear and womenswear debuts, Anderson took on the historic house codes through his lens—going back to the first collection in 1947, when Christian Dior introduced the groundbreaking New Look. On the runway, Bar jackets were reworked and more house codes reimagined. Anderson also paid homage to his Dior predecessors—both in a film that played before the show and in the runway looks themselves, including a reimagined version of John Galliano’s signature buccaneer hats. All eyes were on the Dior show for Jonathan Anderson's womenswear debut. The excitement he's bringing to the brand is palpable. It’s clear we’re entering a new era of fashion, and Anderson is leading that change at Dior but just getting started.

The New New Look

Featuring a cinched waist, a very full skirt, and rounded shoulders, the New Look introduced by Christian Dior in 1947 was radical and groundbreaking when it first debuted and changed the way women dressed in the following decades. In his womenswear debut, Anderson showcased his take with the new New Look, including dresses that were executed in lampshade silhouettes with draping, oversize bow details, and woven fabric.

The Reimagined Bar Jacket

One of the most iconic silhouettes from Dior is its Bar jacket, finished with a signature nipped-in waist—an emblematic style from the New Look collection. Anderson paid homage to the original while reworking it through his point of view. Styles were shrunken and cropped, executed in cutout versions as well as reimagined in looping, twisted shapes with ribbon ties.
