I know this pairing might have been trending 10 years ago, but I still find the combination inimitably chic. Reminding me exactly why it works so well, Jessica Alba stepped out this week styling high-rise, slim-fitting jeans with a slouchy off-the-shoulder knit, creating a chic off-duty denim outfit I'm more than ready to welcome into my autumn wardrobe.

With autumn's breeze finally starting to creep in, I've been putting some extra thought into the early-season outfits I can start reaching for, and this relaxed jumper-and-denim pairing is right at the top of my list. Perfect for those in-between days, this is a jumper trend best worn before the heavier layers come out, as the off-the-shoulder finish can feel a little clunky beneath a jacket or coat. Take this recent Jennifer Lopez look: keeping her foundation sleek with the perfect pair of form-fitting leggings, Jennifer crafted a poised outfit that she complemented with a classic pair of white chunky trainers. Rather than giving in to fleeting trends, the enduring silhouette kept things uncomplicated and chic and, in my opinion, makes the loungewear staple feel its most elevated.

Wait a minute. Are naked shoes the new naked dress? I've spent years covering the evolution of daringly sheer fashion moments on red carpets, so I'm not easily fazed by celebrities' out-there outfits. That said, Margaret Qualley's newest appearance managed to stop me in my tracks because she's wearing the ever-so-controversial Chanel barefoot sandals that debuted on the runway at the French house's cruise 2027 show in Biarritz in late April.

With just a small swath of leather covering her heels and two thin straps tied around her ankles, Qualley essentially went barefoot on the red carpet. I, for one, commend her bravery!
