Having worked in fashion for years, I've developed an understanding of which trainer trends work with jeans—and which don't. Whilst some combinations feel easy and chic, others can fall flat, with loose denim pooling awkwardly over chunky trainers and diminishing the appeal of both pieces. Because of this, I've built up a mental catalogue of jean-and-trainer pairings that never fail, and this week, Cara Delevingne stepped out in one of my all-time favourites.

Starting with a sleek denim foundation, Cara opted for a pair of high-waisted straight-leg jeans. Neither skin-tight nor overly baggy, the subtly slouchy silhouette lent an ease to her off-duty look.

Had she reached for a predictable pair of Sambas, the outfit would have felt immediately tied to this particular fashion moment. As popular as they remain, Sambas have become so ubiquitous that they now carry a distinctly time-stamped quality. Plus, their gum soles add a certain heft that, in my opinion, never looks quite right peeking out from beneath stovepipe jeans.

Instead, Cara chose a trainer style that feels to me, genuinely timeless. Swapping Sambas for classic Converse, she grounded her look with a pair of black high-tops that complemented the relaxed shape of her jeans. Rather than bunching heavily at the ankle, the denim draped neatly over the trainers' slim profile, creating a cleaner, more streamlined finish. The dark black colourway also added depth and polish, giving the entire outfit a more elevated feel.

Cara Delevingne's life has been closely chronicled since 2012 when the model, actress, and singer shot to fame after walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Since her breakout banner year, the star has snagged coveted roles in films such as Paper Towns and Suicide Squad, released music, and established herself as a staunch advocate for gender equality and the LGBTQIA+ community.

However, the star consciously began to peel back from the spotlight around 10 years ago to reprioritize and now makes herself visible only when she wants to. For the fabulous multi-hyphenate, this means popping by the Los Angeles premiere of Wuthering Heights to support her friend and former co-star Margot Robbie and, most recently, sitting down with Who What Wear to discuss her ambassadorship with L'Oréal and the brand's Women of Worth community.

"It's a very 'pinch me' moment," Delevingne tells us about her bucket-list role. The star knows the power of fragrance more than anyone, and the first thing that connects her to the brand is a particularly nostalgic scent. "My grandmother always used Elnett [hair spray], and it's one of the scents that will always remind me of her," she confides. "Being able to say 'Oh, I'm an ambassador' is really crazy." To no one's surprise, this team-up has also improved her beauty game—something she admits to not being so fluent in before.

The star describes her self-care routine as something that changes on a day-by-day basis, but when it comes to wellness, she knows that simplicity is key. "Sometimes, I'm just terrible at washing my face twice a day," she says with a laugh. "But usually, I will always use Revitalift plumping serum because it just wakes up my skin." The rest of her minimal wellness routine includes a daily SPF and a foam roller. No, it's not for the face. It's for her back and shoulders. "I take it everywhere I go," she exclaims. "Maybe that's just me in my 30s, but it's so necessary for me."

Though Delevingne emphasizes the importance of ease when it comes to her skincare routine, she's been taking more risks with her makeup and hair these days, something she never would have thought she'd thoroughly enjoy. "I've been so spoiled that I've just had my makeup done, [so] I was never good at makeup until I started playing with it," she explains. With the resurgence of 2010s makeup—the era of her early social media stardom—Delevingne reveals that the one dated trend she wished she'd mastered then was a sharp wing.

"A little flick, because I love doing that now. … It's my favorite thing," she says. "There's something so satisfying about getting the perfect one." Her trick for perfecting that sharp black swipe? "It's about the little Q-tip you use to correct," she laughs. "Screw the actual cat eye. It's all about correcting."

As for other beauty challenges, Delevingne recently debuted a stunning set of bangs chopped by celebrity-loved hairstylist Mara Roszak, founder of WWW-beloved haircare brand Rōz. Don't act like we didn't tell you this is the biggest beauty movement of 2026. "They're a different beast," she tells us with a grin. "I haven't had bangs since I was a child, and I definitely didn't do anything with my hair when I was younger, and I'm still kind of refusing to. I just look like I have a big mop on my head—in a good way." However, the en-vogue star likens her laissez-faire hair to effortlessly cool, '70s-inspired waves.

"It's giving a very 'Stevie Nicks in the '70s' vibe right now," she states. "The '70s are such an incredible era, especially for that kind of natural beauty. I love letting your natural features shine through. … I always draw back to [that]."

Though Delevingne's beauty literacy has improved throughout the years, it's what she's discovered on the inside through this ambassadorship experience that's given her a new sense of confidence. The star can now look back on many hard years of rigorous work with appreciation thanks to the people she surrounds herself with today.

"One of the things I always found very important—and something I didn't realize until I was older—is the people you align yourself with [and] really being able to share the values that they have," she explains. She cites L'Oréal's Le Défilé, an annual event during Paris Fashion Week, as a turning point. "Doing Le Défilé with so many women that I've looked up to my entire life and having really incredible conversations about [everything from what] scares us to things that lift us up, it really is that picture-perfect feeling of 'Oh, this can be what it's like to work with people you're aligned with,'" she continues. Though the multi-hyphenate is thankful for the community of strong people she's found herself in, she says she owes a lot more credit to the person in the mirror. Present-day Delevingne wishes she could go back and tell her 20-year-old self—the age when her life became supercharged by stardom—that she was never alone. "I think I was trying so [hard] to run away from myself because I felt so much imposter syndrome, like I just didn't deserve any of it," she confides.

Her advice? To hit pause, take stock, and enjoy every moment. "That all happened so fast," she recalls. "When you're going through any type of big change or something really drastic, it all suddenly happens." When it rains, it pours. "Be able to slow down and enjoy every moment," she adds.

Growing up, I never liked having naturally thick, bold brows. Thin brows were in, so I did everything in my power to shrink mine (or at least make them appear half their size with the help of caked-on concealer). So when big-brow It girls like Cara Delevingne, Lily Collins, and Zendaya broke on to the scene, I welcomed back my brows with open arms and finally laid off the concealer. But then I was faced with my next challenge: learning how to wear them. That's when I was introduced to the magic of soap brows—an old Hollywood trick to sculpting and fluffing your brows to their fullest potential without opting for brow lamination, caking on eyebrow wax, or relying entirely on a pencil and spoolie.

What Are Soap Brows?

I tapped celebrity makeup artist Katie Mellinger to give us the scoop on the trend. "Soap brows refers to a technique of creating a brow shape using a glycerin-based soap to sculpt the brow shape, usually in an upward motion, to give a laminated look," she says. If you have any visible spots or patchiness in the brows, Mellinger recommends filling them in with pencil or a shadow before reaching for the soap.

Once the soap is on, there'll be no way to fill in those pesky spots. A spoolie is then lightly misted with water or a setting spray (dampening it but not soaking it so your glycerin-based soap won't sud). The spoolie is then scraped lightly back and forth in the soap to build up a paste. "When applying to your brow, start at the base and comb upward in the desired shape," she says. "For a laminated look, this is generally about 23 degrees outward for the inner part of your brow (or toward the outer corner of your hairline) and 45 degrees (or toward the top of your ear) for the outer part of your brow." 

How to Pull Off Soap Brows

If you're ready to finally give soap brows a try, follow these steps below that Mellinger swears by to help achieve them. All you'll need is a clear, glycerin-based soap, wax, or gel and an easy-to-use spoolie to whip your brows into shape in minutes—no brow-lamination appointment required. The trick is to pay special attention to coating all hairs, making sure none go without a layer of soap paste for a smooth finish.

Step 1. If you're creating them using soap rather than a wax or gel, opt for a clear, glycerin-based soap. This will ensure there is no color or white cast transferred to the brow.

Step 2. Avoid getting the spoolie too wet. "You don't want to make the paste too slippery or sudsy, or it won't stay in place," explains Mellinger.

Step 3. Don't dig into the soap too much with your spoolie, as it will make the paste too thick. A paste that is too thick and dry won't stick well.

Step 4. After you've achieved your ideal shape, try carefully smoothing it out with your finger for an extra-laminated look.

Mellinger also happens to keep a few products in her kit at all times to create the perfect soap brow look, starting with West Barn Co's Soap Brows Extra Strong and Prep Mist. "This is my favorite for my kit, as it's small and comes in a tin—very kit friendly." For an affordable option, Melligner uses a disposable spoolie with Pears' classic Pure Gentle Soap. Is soap not your thing? No problem. The makeup artist also uses the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze to give a sleek, laminated effect to even the unruliest of brows (mine included).

Like any makeup look, practice makes perfect! Soap brows are a simple way to level up any makeup look by adding some extra dimension, fullness, and shape where your face needs it the most. I like to think of it as an easy, five-second face-lift using the simplest tools you can imagine. While Kate Beckinsale isn't afraid to wear six-inch platform boots to the airport, Cara Delevingne takes a different approach. Her travel style is all about comfort, as evidenced by her latest outfit at JFK Airport in New York, where she wore my absolute favorite trend to wear on a plane: a faux-fur jacket. Cara Delevingne is no stranger to a great fashion collaboration, but her capsule collection with the Karl Lagerfeld brand just might be her most special yet. The 44-piece line, aptly named Cara Loves Karl, is a celebration of the special bond between the actress/model and esteemed designer and their shared affinity for sleek and wearable fashion with a twist. This project was years in the making, and Delevingne worked closely with the French fashion house to create a tailor-forward collection that anyone can wear.

In addition to featuring transformative styles, such as a shirt with a removable collar and a cozy bomber jacket that is reversible, it was important to Delevingne that the collection also be genderless and size inclusive and feature sustainable materials. In Lagerfeld’s beloved palette of black, navy, and white, the ready-to-wear pieces and accessories are unquestionably cool and a perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. Personal faves include the shearling mini bag and the crisp white button-down that can be converted into a crop top. 

In anticipation of the big launch, we chatted with Delevingne about designing her perfect genderless collection with the Karl Lagerfeld brand and the pieces we can expect to see her wearing all season long. Check out the interview below and shop our favorite items before they’re gone. 

Karl Lagerfeld described you as the "Charlie Chaplin of the fashion world.” How would you describe him?

Everyone knows that Karl was an incredible visionary, but more than that, he was an extraordinary person. His personality was infectious, and I was always so grateful to be in his presence. He was so inspiring and believed in me when a lot of others didn’t. Karl really helped me build my confidence up. I adore him and feel lucky to have called him a dear friend.

What is one of your fondest memories of working with Karl?

My fondest memory working with Karl was hearing his fascinating stories and picking his brain. He had such an amazing creative vision, and he always encouraged me to be creative and to share my ideas with him in return. I miss him so much, but this collection was a great way to reconnect with him, and I think he would be proud of it.

In creating a genderless capsule collection, what design elements were important to you?

I personally dress in a way that allows me to play with gender, so I knew this collection needed to be genderless. I don’t want the clothes to wear the people. I want the people to wear the clothes. I wanted to give people clothes that they could make their own and wear in their own unique way and on their own terms. When creating this collection, it was important for me to incorporate Karl’s personal style, which was timeless, classic, chic, and always with a twist. We also paid such close attention to detail, and the pieces are really high quality.

When thinking about the initial designs for the collection, what were some of the references on your mood board?

I took inspiration from everywhere, including fashion, film, television, and travel, and infused it with Karl’s personal style. Karl was always pushing the bar of fashion, and I wanted to create a collection of transformable pieces that felt timeless. I wanted to create something different and something I’d never done before but something that seemed like it should be done.

How does this collection reflect what you are currently loving right now?

The genderless aspect of the collection reflects my personal style. I think clothes should have the ability to be worn by everybody. This collection is inclusive, and it doesn’t matter how you identify. It’s such a beautiful thing to see people express themselves through fashion, despite what society has told us to do. It’s amazing to see how people are embracing their individuality and taking fashion and flipping it on its head. I love how there are pieces in this collection for everyone.

Can you speak to the sustainability element of the collection and why it was an important piece to you?

I live my life with sustainability at the forefront, so I knew the collaboration had to be sustainable as well, and we were able to incorporate eco-conscious materials like recycled nylon and organic cotton into the collection. At Karl Lagerfeld, they are always innovating and doing things that make a difference, which fits in perfectly with who I am and what I believe in. I feel so lucky to be in the position I’m in right now, where I can try to make a difference in this world because there’s so much that needs changing right now. When people wear this collection, I want them to feel good knowing where it came from and knowing what it’s made of.

Did anything surprise you about creating a sustainable collection?

One thing that is tough about creating a sustainable collection is that it costs a lot more and it’s a lot harder to do, but if you’re able to pull it off and show that it can be done and that it is possible, then it’s very rewarding. Another thing that surprised me about creating a collection was the amount of editing and revisions involved. During my design meetings, I would stay for hours because I had so many ideas, and narrowing them down proved to be the hardest part at times. Luckily, Hun Kim, the design director of Karl Lagerfeld, understood my vision and was able to guide me through the process. 

What pieces from the collection are you most excited to wear this season, and how will you be styling them?

I absolutely love the reversible bomber jacket. It’s very practical because I can style it using the brighter side or the darker side, depending on my mood that day. It stands out because it’s a colorful piece within a collection of chic and understated staples. All my friends have been trying to steal it from me—it’s that good!

Which item would you say is the collection workhorse?

The longline tuxedo gilet is a staple piece. It feels so sophisticated and timeless. I love that it can be worn on its own as a dress or utilized as a chic layering piece. I’ve been traveling with the collection in my suitcase lately and putting my friends in the pieces so I can take pictures of them. It’s been very interesting to see how everyone puts their own twist on it.

There are some really cool outwear pieces in the collection. What do you look for in a great jacket or coat?

I look for well-made, quality staple pieces when it comes to a great jacket or coat. I need my clothing to be practical, wearable, and comfortable. I also appreciate versatility in my pieces because I love to be able to switch up my style depending on my mood. That’s why I’ve been living in my reversible faux-fur bomber jacket from the collection!

Looking ahead to fall, what five pieces (not necessarily all from the collection) will be on heavy rotation in your wardrobe?

A great bomber jacket, a classic blazer, a crisp white button-down, a perfect-fitting pair of denim, and a timeless pair of trousers.

Cara Delevingne already wears so many hats, but now she's adding co-owner to her résumé. The actress and model is joining sexual wellness and technology company Lora DiCarlo as co-owner and creative advisor. The brand creates innovative and inclusive sexual wellness devices, with the goal of empowering others to explore and embrace their sexuality and break down the stigma and shame around sex.

In her new role, Delevigne will work with founder Lora DiCarlo on creative content development and overall brand strategy. She'll also work on marketing campaigns, product development, and more. It's a big task, but Delevingne has been so outspoken and honest about her own sexuality before, so it seems like the perfect fit.

We got the chance to chat with Delevingne and DiCarlo about this new partnership and how they want to change the way people think about sexual wellness. Here's what they had to say.

What inspired you to join the company as co-owner?

Cara Delevingne: Lora DiCarlo represents so much of what I stand for—it's women led and femme focused, and its award-winning products are really redefining how people explore, experience, and take ownership of their sexuality and pleasure. Lora has made such a name for herself as someone who, more or less, defies the norms in terms of what is expected, and I just have immense respect for her and her company.

What do you hope to accomplish in your new role?

CD: In my new role as co-owner and creative advisor, I hope to use my voice and platform to inspire and encourage others to embrace their sexuality and be open to learning more about sexual wellness. I want to hear via text (310-421-0894) what people like about the product, what they want us to improve on, what products they want to see or feel are missing from the market.

Sexual wellness can be a "taboo" topic. Why do you think it's so important to make the conversation about it so much more public?

CD: I think the sooner we as a society start talking about these types of things, the less intimidating it becomes.

What do you think is missing in the sexual wellness space/industry? What kind of barriers do you hope to break?

CD: I find that there's still a stigma around sexual wellness, so I hope to help break down those walls and barriers and show that it's a topic we can openly discuss and explore.

How do you take care of your own sexual wellness?

CD: You know RuPaul's famous quote "If you can't love yourself, how the hell are you going to love anyone else"? I think the same applies for pleasure.

Do you have any advice for women who might be exploring their own sexuality and sexual wellness?

CD: Don't be afraid to ask questions, be open, and understand that sexual exploration isn't a one-time deal—it's a journey.

Do you have any favorite products from Lora DiCarlo?

CD: They're all really fantastic. My favorite currently is the Baci.

Why is Cara such a great partner for your company?

Lora DiCarlo: To her, and to us, it was never about just being a spokesperson. She's so excited about getting to know the humans that make up Lora DiCarlo and working with our engineering and marketing teams. She is already highly engaged. The short of Lora DiCarlo's mission is to destigmatize the taboos surrounding sexual health and wellness in broader society today. Cara is unapologetic, approachable, comfortable in her individuality, and she champions the cause of women's sexual health.

What do you hope to accomplish by having her on board?

LD: Mainstream awareness, data collection, and reaching out to her very engaged community for feedback. Her product and creative input are exciting to see, even early in our partnership. We have some game-changing ideas we're cooking up, and Cara is absolutely here for it.

Sexual wellness can seem "taboo" or inaccessible at times because it’s taboo. How are you hoping to change that?

LD: After our CES Innovation Award in robotics was stripped from us and then reinstated after a hard-fought battle and some show policy changes, sex tech started moving into the mainstream by being recognized on the show floor for the first time. Our partnership with Cara will look to further our goal of bringing sex out of the closet. We work with a lot of micro- and nano-influencers that have a really high level of engagement within their community to normalize sexual wellness as well. Every externally facing person at the company will be a certified sexual educator come February, including myself and Cara, and we're angling to add the entire company roster to that list of certifications eventually.

Can you give any predictions or hopes for sexual wellness in 2021?

LD: I know we're going to continue to break into mainstream spaces. Whether it's in 2021 or it takes longer, we'll keep marching on. Truly, my hope is for those folks that are disastrously ashamed or even disgusted by sexuality to feel even a tinge more comfortable with the subject… That's when the real work starts, after the tiniest step.

Do you have any advice for women who are exploring their sexuality and sexual wellness?

LD: Be kind to yourself. You are normal exactly the way you are. You are beautiful exactly the way you are. You are a sexy creature. Pleasure is for you, and it’s for everyone. Be gentle. Take it slow. Don’t have any expectations or preconceived notions about what is "supposed" to be sexy—you do you, babe.

They might have only just ended, but the 2010s were riddled with beauty trends you have probably already forgotten (even if your Facebook memories try their hardest not to let you). Beauty has always been a means of self-expression, but thanks to social media, it became even more of a space to make a statement, large or small. Platforms like Instagram and Pinterest became a go-to source to discover new ideas, reveal new haircuts, swap recommendations, and share opinions on the latest looks, for better or worse. Thanks to this newfound democratization of trends, beauty also became increasingly more inclusive, with many brands embracing people of color and different body types, as well as genderless products.

Of course, celebrities were at the forefront of many 2010s trends, including one famous family in particular. Love them or hate them, there’s no denying the Kardashian-Jenners’ (often controversial) contributions to the industry. The concept of using makeup to exaggerate and visually sharpen the angles on one’s face using different shades of makeup, contouring skyrocketed in popularity thanks, again, to Kim Kardashian West, who shared her technique on Instagram.

The shiny stepsister to contouring, strobing involved piling on the highlighter to play up the cheekbones, as Gigi Hadid demonstrated at a 2015 event.

Leather-look leggings and an American Apparel body were the unofficial going-out uniform for freshers in the late 2000s, but three celebrities wore skinny leather trousers at fashion events last night, confirming that skinny leather jeans remain a wardrobe staple.

Every fashion buyer I have spoken to about the A/W 19 collections has highlighted leather as one of the dominant trends for the upcoming season, with everything from midi dresses to trench coats coming in burgundy, brown and black leathers. Perhaps one of the easiest ways to wear this trend, however, is a pair of simple leather skinny jeans, worn with a black blazer, T-shirt and black ankle boots. Cara Delevingne and Charlize Theron both wore this noughties uniform in New York yesterday.

As one of the world’s most in-demand models, many images have been projected upon Cara Delevingne. She’s gone from Burberry favourite to Chanel ingénue and from Mulberry collaborator to Dior darling, but Delevingne has quickly proved herself as more than just a one-trick pinup. But the most enduring image of the Londoner is the one that she has crafted herself: funny and spirited but with a sensitive side. The 25-year-old quickly carved out her own identity at a time when a gruelling schedule saw her travel all over the world and quickly become one of the paparazzi’s most-stalked subjects.

Unlike her sister Poppy’s boho style, Cara was a key player in streetwear being adopted by the masses, throwing together bomber jackets with multicoloured beanies and bold striped jeans with zany sunglasses. Her handbags have always been designer, but not in a flashy way (and then she designed her own). As her CV evolved to include actress and author credits, so did her style. Back in 2010, Cara Delevingne, a little-known London model in the making, started working the party circuit. The 18-year-old was all Bambi legs and long blonde hair, showing off her physique in a Roberto Cavalli minidress.

British brand Burberry was quick to take note of teen Cara’s potential, casting her in its digital campaigns and dressing her in its iconic trench coats from the get-go.

With campaigns for big brands quickly making Delevingne a name to watch, her personal style became more affirmed. Her go-to staples—stripy trousers, clumpy ankle boots and tailored jackets—were always topped off with a beanie for good measure.

Back in 2013, Delevingne showed up to Cannes in old-school Hollywood glamour: black lace, smoky makeup and lashings of diamonds.

It wasn’t long before Cara’s infectious personality and maverick style lead to a covetable collaboration. In 2014, she launched a range of hugely desirable backpacks and handbags designed for Mulberry (of which she was never seen without).

In 2015, Delevingne wore perhaps the most Audrey Hepburn–inspired outfit we’ve ever seen for a Chanel party in London.

Swapping the catwalk for the front row, Cara made Chanel separates look effortless for a 20-something woman as she took her seat at the brand’s show in 2015.

This smart look is typical of Delevingne: Slightly rebellious but approachable and always photo-worthy. (The model has also been a consistent champion of the underwear-as-outerwear trend.)

This has to be one of our favourite beauty looks (as well as nighttime looks) sported by Delevingne. The minidress offset with sheer tights, the voluminous cape, the groomed brows and the dramatic chest ink is just too good.

Cara Delevingne adds another movie to her growing résumé with next summer's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and Rihanna is getting in on the action, too. The first trailer for the Luc Besson's sci-fi space adventure just dropped, and the two ladies star alongside Dane DeHaan, who shares a one-on-one scene with the Anti singer. 

We'll have to wait until July 21, 2017, to catch the film in which Delevingne and DeHaan play space-traveling operatives, but thanks to the teaser, we have clues about what we can expect. Delevingne is the ultimate tough girl as she and DeHaan maintain order in the universe while RiRi gives stellar sultry performances in her cameos. Dressed in 1920s-inspired ensembles, Rihanna will definitely have some standout fashion moments, as will Delevingne in her combat-ready gear.

As the holiday season creeps up on us, we can almost be certain Puma will be sending a big year-end thank you present to Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, and Kylie Jenner, aka some of its most noteworthy brand ambassadors and design partners. The reason we’re so confident? According to Footwear News, the activewear brand has seen sales practically double over the past year, during which it brought on Delevingne and Jenner. As for Rihanna, who's been an integral part of the label since she earned a creative director title in 2014, she has one of the most devoted fan bases in the world.

Within 2016 alone, Rihanna’s continued to sell out inventory and we recently learned she’s even landed herself a prestigious fashion award for her work with Puma. Along with the influence of Jenner, who’s no stranger to selling out products with her own lip kit, and Delevingne, Puma’s “net earnings spiked 98 percent to 39.5 million euros, or $44.1 million, almost double that of the equivalent year-ago period,” specifies Footwear News.

All of these ladies have only just begun to hit their strides, and, frankly, we're seeing unlimited potential for Puma down the line.

The cast of Suicide Squad traveled around the world this week to much fanfare, promoting what’s undoubtedly been one of the buzziest films of the summer. In keeping with the fun tone of the comic book–based blockbuster, its resident fashion-girl stars Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie lived up to expectations and made this one of the most stylish, larger-than-life, and fun press tours of the year.

The pair, along with Delevingne's stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn and Robbie's stylist Kate Young, chose outfits that were edgy yet feminine. Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie are having a whirlwind of a week promoting the premiere of Suicide Squad. The latest stop on the film's press tour is Delevingne's hometown of London, and the duo made a very on-trend (and comfortable) outfit change out of their Alexander McQueen and Gucci duds for the premiere's after-party.

The pair opted for matching navy-blue tracksuits (and trainers) with their respective names on the front and "Skwad" emblazoned on the back. (Now THIS is how fashion girls promote a movie.) The custom tracksuits were created by British company Chaos, which Delevingne thanked on Instagram.

Not since the infamous KenGi moments has a pair made such a deliberate and successful public display of twinning. And based on the photos of the actresses partying through the sun roof of their car for the evening, it's clearly a fact that you can't help but have fun when wearing matching tracksuits.

Over the weekend, Cara Delevingne stepped out while on the promotional trail for her new film Suicide Squad in a mini skirt and over-the-knee boots that sat all the way up (and under) to her skirt. If you find stockings uncomfortable, or not that warm to begin with, then this look is the perfect way to get wear out of your favourite summer skirts in winter, and still stay warm.

Cara styled her embroidered black mini skirt (she must’ve got our memo that embroidery is back), a sheer lace blouse, and boxer braids that Kim Kardashian would be proud of.

Another year, another stellar Glastonbury. While we love the festival for its music, much like any other big event on the calendar it's also a place for some supreme A-list fashion spotting. But this year there were no flower crowns, no impractically long maxi dresses dragging in the mud, or any other silly kind of attire. Instead, celebs were opting for a much more practical approach to their festival-wear. While Ora might be going for the more adventurous approach with the fishnet tights, she's still wearing a rather sensible waterproof over the top (we're calling it the Balenciaga effect). As for Mary Charteris, the leather jacket, denim skinnies and wellies are classic festival attire. 

Laura Whitmore opts for denim cuts-offs, a silk shirt, bare legs and wellies. But we've really got our eyes on that incredible leopard-print handbag.

A dress that covers you up but also gives you room to breathe should the weather get a bit warmer? Once again, Zara Martin, like the other A-listers at Glastonbury, has opted for a casual and utterly practical ensemble—10/10.

While Kate Moss's younger sister opts for the tried-and-tested festival attire of shorts and a top, the pretty white blouse gives it an edge. 

A catsuit doesn't always have to be bold and patterned; in fact, it can be much more wearable as proven by Daisy Lowe's black version here. Simply pop a bomber jacket over the top. 

Another brilliantly normal outfit from Poppy Delevinge at this year's Glastonbury. A bomber, a sweatshirt, skinny jeans and wellies is our new go-to festival look. 

Suki Waterhouse knows a good bargain when she sees one, which is why she's chosen a playsuit from Urban Outfitters for her festival get-up. Pretty yet practical (as in, not dragging in the mud).

Whether they’re just having dinner or are throwing a private party, West Hollywood hot spot The Nice Guy is has been a night-out destination for L.A.’s celebrities since it opened its doors last summer—and we can’t blame them. The upscale Italian food and handcrafted drinks are to die for, and the reservation-only bar and dining room have an intimate, lounge-like atmosphere that’s often accompanied by live music and DJs. From pop stars to Victoria’s Secret angels, everyone is a fan. 

Located on historic shopping street Melrose Place, Alfred Coffee & Kitchen (aka “Alfred”) is as well-known for its people watching and Instagrammability as it is for its coffee and snacks. Whether you stop by in the morning before work or on Sunday while the farmer’s market is going on, you’re sure to spot at least one off-duty celebrity getting their caffeine fix. 

With something for every member of the family, The Brentwood Country Mart is the perfect spot for celebrities with or without their kids. Tucked away in the barn-themed outdoor mall are stores (like Intermix and Jenni Kayne), children’s rides, a candy shop, restaurants, and more. With so much to offer, it’s no wonder Alessandra Ambrosio is a regular visitor.

Between the über-private guest rooms, restaurant, bar, and sheer number of events and afterparties held there, there’s never not a celebrity to be seen at the historic Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont. If you ask us, it’s best on a sunny L.A. day for lunch in the garden.

Since long before Kim Kardashian dubbed it her favorite restaurant, the cream of L.A.’s celebrity crop has been flocking to Craig’s for its homestyle food and upscale vibe. On any given night, you can find yourself just a booth away from an under-the-radar Oscar winner—probably chatting away with Craig himself, who’s served as the host of his restaurant since it opened four years ago.

Pretty much anyone in L.A. looking to get their shopping fix (or window-shopping fix) heads to Barneys in Beverly Hills—and celebrities are not exempt. With a newly redone rooftop restaurant, personal shopping on the second floor, and a shoe department dreams are made of, going there is more of an activity then an errand. 

Already dubbed the most popular date-night spot for Hollywood celebrities by WWW, there’s a reason no one can get enough of family-operated Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi. Having been in business for more than 25 years, the dining spot's homemade pastas (and every other dish, really) are done to perfection. Also, it’s beachside and away from Hollywood, which, in L.A., translates to under-the-radar and private. 

Two of the world’s most influential fashion icons, Kate Moss and Jordan Dunn, are modelling the sisterhood in action by taking on a mentoring role with their young contemporaries—namely model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne and rising star Neelam Gill.

This weekend London played host to the event Women in the World, where Cara Delevingne took to the stage, took off her shoes to get comfy, and opened up about how Kate Moss had helped her through difficult times in her early modeling career. "I had no concept of saying no to anyone, ever. After a while I got sick and got a condition called psoriasis. I felt disconnected from myself, but my agency simply shoved me into a doctor's surgery, where I got cortisone shots, but - in reality - I wanted someone to stop me, but nobody did," reports the Daily Mail.

Cara went on to credit Moss as the person who stepped in and helped her strike a balance with her back-to-back catwalk schedule and 24/7 photo shoot campaigns. "I never felt like I was good enough, that I deserved success. I felt like I was living somebody else's dream. Kate Moss saved me - she stepped in and picked me up off the floor at a stressful time."

Another pair of Burberry poster girls to develop a supportive sisterly relationship was seasoned catwalk star Jordan Dunn and the up-and-coming Coventry–born Neelam Gill, who sat next to each other on the Burberry FROW for the S/S 16 show. A highly successful model and mother, Dunn has walked for the biggest fashion houses in the industry from Victoria’s Secret to Saint Laurent, so she has been able to share some of her wisdom with rising star Neelam.

Gill’s first modeling job saw her booked as the main model for the 2013 Burberry winter campaign, and later that year she walked for the British brand for its S/S 15 collection. She told ELLE UK how she practiced walking in her parents’ back garden and relied on Dunn as a big-sister figure in the industry. "Jourdan Dunn always gives me good advice. She's become like a big sister to me, and she always looks out for me."

Tom Ford's Black Orchid Fragrance ($112) billboard featuring Cara Delevingne has been banned from being present within 100 meters of schools in the UK. Why? The top model is shown naked in a bath (predictably surrounded by floating orchids) leaving very little to the imagination. Though critics attempted to have the ad removed completely, the Advertising Standards Authority put a stop to that, citing it was “unlikely to cause serious offence.”

Chanel’s pre-fall Métiers d'Art collection has been around the block, with shows in both Austria and New York City that drew all the most stylish celebrities and industry folk around. Naturally, the just-released ad campaign for the collection is primed to make an equally big splash. Featuring Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams—a fixture at Chanel shows past—the images were shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself and have a slight Wes Anderson vibe courtesy of the clothes’ playful reworking of heritage brand fixtures and quirky details like knee-high Mary Jane's smattered with bows. The appearance of Lagerfeld’s favourite young model, Hudson Kroenig, in lederhosen only adds to the whimsical vibe.

Models.com's annual list of the world's top models is typically a need-to-know roundup, determined by some of the industry's top experts. But this year, the site did things differently. They asked readers to submit their favourites in categories like Model of the Year, Breakout Star, and more. The results: very interesting.

The "industry" vote for the year's top model goes to Edie Campbell, who, though perhaps not a household name, is a major force appearing on runways from Chanel to Valentino. The reader's choice, not surprisingly, went to Cara Delevingne, who also took home the honours for Social Media Star, tapped by both readers and industry insiders. And somewhat surprisingly, there's no mention of rising It-girl Gigi Hadid anywhere on the list.
