I’ve considered wearing a cheek tint alone without some sort of foundation or tinted moisturiser before; however, this product is so natural-looking that I’m very tempted to try it with this glowy formula. Retailing at £44, this is by no means an affordable cheek tint, but trust me when I say it’s well worth the extra splurge, with a little going a very long way.

It should come as no surprise that e.l.f has come out with another high-quality product, and the newest addition to the brand's cheek collection has already earned itself a place in my everyday makeup bag. It’s ultra-pigmented, lasts all day, and not to mention that it has the biggest shade range for a cheek tint that I’ve personally ever seen. I also love that, unlike other tints I’ve tried, the formula is not too runny, giving me time to blend it into my cheeks without fear of staining or uneven application. I already own the shade Cherry Cola, but at £6, I can see at least 3 of the other 8 shades making their way onto my vanity very soon.

If you have dry skin, I’m aware that cheek stains come with the fear of looking patchy or clinging to dry patches; however, Ere Perez’s beetroot tint will soon get you on the cheek stain hype. Formulated with beetroot to improve hydration, rosehip to nourish and blue agave nectar to revive dullness, this dewy product can be sheered out into a healthy-looking flush or built up on for a bold punch that won't look cakey. I use the red shade, joy over my cheeks and lips for a cohesive makeup look, and I love the fact that this hydrating stain doesn’t cling to the dry patches on my lip, allowing my makeup to look airbrushed and seamless.

I was extremely late to the Benetint hype; however, this water-based cheek stain has not left my makeup bag since I tried it last year. As a true water tint, this blush has much more longevity than cream or powder formulas, making it the perfect pick for both full coverage and “no makeup” makeup days. The texture also allows it to apply more easily over other makeup products without disturbing the rest of your base. My only note would be that this product dries down very quickly, so you have to work much more quickly with it.

Cheek stains already come with a promise of lasting for a long time on your cheeks; however, if you want something that really, and I mean really, lasts all day, then Wonderskin’s new Wonder Blading All-Day Blush Stain will be your best friend. Available in six highly pigmented shades, a little bit of this formula goes a very long way. But don't think because you’ve used a smaller amount of product that it won’t last as long. This has been my go-to blush for both of the heatwaves we’ve experienced here in the UK, and trust me when I say it does not budge, even through overly sweaty commutes to the office and balmy evenings out with friends.

Last but not least, if you're a fan of Charlotte Tilbury's legendary Pillow Talk lip products, then you will love this. The Blush Balm Lip Tint is like a lipstick and lip balm all in one. It creates that blurred, French-girl finish we're all loving at the moment, and the best bit is it uses the brand's pH Custom Colour Chemistry complex to create a unique shade on everyone. My friend had this in her handbag and let me borrow it on a night out, and it's pretty much all I've thought about since.

My best overall goes to Milani for a few reasons. For starters, it's highly affordable, and the pigment really shows through. The balm-to-gel cream formula melts into the skin for a natural finish. It also contains helpful ingredients like pomegranate, rose extract, and watermelon along with vitamins A, C, and E.

As someone with eczema and extremely dry skin, finding products that are hydrating and gentle on my skin is always my top priority, so when I saw that Ilia’s Skin Rewind Complexion Stick claimed to “look like makeup, and act like skincare”, I knew I had to give it a try. Although I personally love the shade, I do have to note that those with darker skin tones than my own have reported that it can look ashy on the cheeks due to the white pigment it's formulated with, so be wary of that.

But rest assured that there are a number of options on the market that effectively blonze lighter skin without looking clownish or muddy. Just two drops are all I need to warm up my cheekbones and hairline.

I can confirm that a "mousse blush" is just as dreamy as it sounds. This lightweight, cushiony pigment melts into my skin upon application yet dries down to a natural, soft-matte finish—the perfect happy medium for people who want to hop on the blurry-makeup trend but don't love powder products. I tend to gravitate toward dewy formulas during the warmer months to eliminate any chance of pilling, but now that I have this creamy formula in my arsenal, I just might keep going matte!

With increased sweat comes congested pores, which means I need an everyday exfoliator to keep my skin clear without wreaking havoc on my barrier. Enter Versed's Pore Clearing Serum that calls upon mandelic and salicylic acids to unclog pores at the source and stimulate cell turnover. It helps that I'm always on the hunt for a perfect pinky-nude pigment, and I already know this rosy hue fits the bill. I do love a blurry matte lip, as I mentioned above, but I'll never completely throw away my high-shine finishes. This one is bound to become a summer staple.

Speaking of products that make you glow, I have become certifiably obsessed with Aora's Inicia Illuminating Primer. It not only makes your foundation or skin tint 10 times dewier, but it also brightens your skin all on its own. I often wear it alone on no-makeup days to give my skin just a bit of oomph (a trick multiple makeup artists swear by) or tap it on my cheekbones and collarbones as a natural-leaning highlighter.

I love using Blu & Green's repairing hair mask in place of conditioner, so I was extremely hyped for the brand's foray into stylers. I'm happy to report that its lightweight styling cream is gorgeous, resulting in silky tousled waves that somehow look lived-in yet completely frizz-free. Bonus: I can also use it to slick back my strands before the aforementioned Oribe stick, and because it's so weightless, I can brush it out later on without committing to a full washday.

I was over the moon when I smelled its sophisticatedly sweet scent—a chic, sensorial wash of sparkling citrus—and fell hard when I realized how easy it was to blend it into my skin. Some body butters are overly thick and leave a white cast, but this practically melted into my skin and hydrated it for hours.

My mom's friend also raved about this famous eye cream from OleHenriksen. Known for its visibly brightening and smoothing effects, this creamy elixir quickly earned a spot in her everyday routine. "I love the fresh scent, and my skin feels smooth and soft after using—not greasy feeling at all," she texted.

I've been a fan of this sensitive skin–friendly cream for quite some time, but my mom recently hopped on the bandwagon. I quickly got the gist after the very first swipe, and its formula is deeply hydrating without feeling sticky and supremely glossy. With both supreme moisture and a wash of sheer color, this quickly became my go-to lip topper.

I'm a big fan of Danessa Myricks's matte Colorfix pigments, but this was the first time I got my hands on the famed Foils. The highly pigmented liquid works fabulously as a metallic eye shadow, but you can also dip a fine liner brush into the pigment to swipe it along the lash line for an eccentric eyeliner moment. If you really want to experiment, try swiping it onto your lips or blending it onto your cheeks for a multiuse moment.

I haven't been able to put down the Haus Labs Glassy Blush Balm ever since receiving it in my goodie bag. The impressively hydrating formula is easy to diffuse, offering a watercolor wash of color across the cheeks that's great for the blush-blocking trend that experts predicted would dominate 2026. It's easy to build the intensity for a stronger bloom without disturbing the layers below. Unfortunately for my credit card statement, I need every color.

Taylor Swift's red lip of choice is rumored to be this classic blue-red by Pat McGrath Labs (Elson 4, for those who are curious), and we got to take the matte liquid lipstick home following our Sephoria visit. As someone who swore she'd never wear a matte liquid lipstick again after the drying formulas of her youth, I was hesitant to swipe this stuff onto my lips—until I realized how little it took to get a full red pout and how lightweight it felt. I love this eyeliner so much I dedicated an entire review to it. The formula is creamy and comfortable, the 20 shades are downright divine, and the glide is so freaking impressive. Sewell agrees, calling the liners "some of the most buttery, easy-to-blend, long-wearing, gorgeous" products around. "I use them on almost every client as a shadow base or in the waterline," she adds. The liner is arguably VBB's top seller—and for good reason!—with one sold every 30 seconds, according to Victoria Beckham herself.

I used to shy away from contour altogether until I discovered this VBB hero. The precise applicator and creamy, easy-to-blend formula makes it A+ for contour novices (ahem, me) and those looking to sculpt specific areas, like the eyelids and bridge of the nose. "These are amazing detailer tools," Sewell previously told me about her favorite contouring products. "I love using them on the nose, eyes, and lips. Super easy to work with."

You could use an eye shadow brush, but honestly, the formulas are so gloriously creamy that blending with your own fingers just feels right. Surprise, surprise, I'm a huge fan of the Cocoa colorway. I've tried my fair share of brow pencils, but a cool-toned taupe will always look the most natural. As I mentioned, I'm a huge fan of the brand's Contour Stylus, so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the new Bronze Water Tint. Would it wind up being a must-have? Yes, yes it would. Just a tiny dab of Tanline (a sheer medium bronze) is all I need to look like a glowy sun goddess. The application feels like finger painting in the best way!

Ah, the aforementioned blush. Just like the bronzer above, this sheer, watery formula adds a blur of color for a soft, painterly finish. It's literally the "watercolor blush" trend in one easy-to-use product. I'm a huge fan of the shade Vintage Rose, which may look dark purple in the bottle but sheers out to a beautiful, fresh berry.

From a practical standpoint, these Water Tints will last you quite a while, which justifies the $46 price tag. For what it's worth, I've had my blush for almost a year, and I have yet to make a noticeable dent. I repeat: All you need is a tiny, pearl-sized dab each time.

According to Sewell, VBB's creamy lipsticks are "100% worth it." I happen to agree, especially the shade 02, which was designed to match Beckham's own lip tone. On me, it's the perfect rosy nude. As for the formula, it's one of the most nourishing lipsticks I've ever swiped on. In fact, the first time I tried it, I was convinced it was a tinted lip balm, only to be floored by the rich color payoff and satin finish. The sleek applicator also scores a few points in my book—so easy to apply on the go.

This is the perfect Posh Lip sidekick. Lip liners are so personal (I, for one, will always prefer a rosy-mauve pencil), but VBB's is the closest it gets to a universal crowd-pleaser. The peptide-infused formula is nourishing and creamy with absolutely no feathering, the glide is unmatched, and the long wear is incredible. True to its name, this is a waterproof liner that outlasts sweat, humidity, and eating and drinking. I'd also recommend snagging the accompanying sharpener while you're at it. It's Beckham branded and so very chic.

Okay, I'm technically only discussing makeup products here, but honorable mention must go to the brand's intoxicating fragrances! I've kept Portofino '97 on my desk ever since Paige DeSorbo called it out as her signature scent. With bergamot, vetiver, amber, patchouli, and musk, it's a luxe Italian summer in a bottle. Try it and thank me later.

If I'm feeling more of a gourmand vibe, I'll always reach for 21:50 Rêverie. Smoky, sensual, and decadent, it's my number one date-night scent—Beckham's too. It's inspired by a romantic dinner with David in Java, Indonesia. "If you like a vanilla with a difference, you're going to love this fragrance," she previously told me about the tobacco-, cedarwood-, and tonka bean–infused blend.

Lip liners are equal opportunists in both the drugstore and luxury retailers, according to the pros, but nothing beats Nyx's low-priced offerings. "The Nyx lip liners are just as good as their expensive counterparts," says celebrity MUA Kirin Bhatty, who glams the likes of Chase Infiniti and Lilly Allen. "I swear by them!" she adds. Celebrity makeup artist Mical Klip specifically calls out the brand's Slim Liner as a personal favorite. "[It] gets a lot of play in my kit," they tell Who What Wear. The formula is silky soft and available in a wide variety of shades, each offering impressive long wear and a comfortable texture.

Setting sprays are an essential in every makeup artist's kit, but most can attest that you don't need to spend $30+ on a bottle to get high-end, long-lasting results. "I honestly prefer the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Setting Spray to the One/Size," one celebrity makeup artist tells me confidentially, referencing the mega-viral One/Size On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray.

Scibelli agrees that setting spray is a category where drugstore works just as well as luxury formulas—even expensive foundations. "You can think of it as similar to fashion, where you might pair a higher-end bag with some fast fashion pieces,” he explains.

"I just don’t believe in spending more than $15 on a mascara," one celebrity MUA tells WWW anonymously. It seems that others would agree, as experts Kelli Anne Sewell and Alexandra French have previously recommended this lash-defining, volume-boosting mascara over spendy picks. The curved brush offers improved application, capturing every last fine lash—yes, even the short ones on the inner corners—and gives your fringe noticeable, yet natural-looking length with each swipe.

Bhatty adores these glossy lip stains for long-wearing glam with high impact. The formula swipes on with a high-shine, pigmented fervor that eventually dries down into a watercolor wash of color—allowing you to build up the intensity if desired throughout the day, or hydrating the skin and leaving behind a no-budge kiss of color that will last for hours. "I use them constantly," she adds. "They are high-performing products that feel luxe."

Lip gloss is another category full of formulas that excel both on the drugstore aisles and the luxury plane. Klip personally recommends the 3D Hydra glosses from Kiko Milano, which retail for just $14 and come in a bevy of juicy, vibrant colors in sparkling and traditional glossy finishes. We WWW editors love our luxe formulas from Dior, Chanel, and Armani Beauty, but no one can deny the power of a good drugstore lip gloss.

In the age of glass skin and dewy makeup, it's easy to overlook powder. That said, the pros confirm this product as a makeup must-have in whatever form—whether for setting, baking, or foundation—especially if you're going for long wear. This drugstore pick is a common recommendation from anyone makeup-obsessed, as its versatile formula allows you to brush a light layer over liquid foundation to set the makeup or apply it directly to the skin with a sponge for optimal oil control and buildable coverage. Plus, it's available in 25 flexible shades.

Scibelli wastes no time recommending Revolution Beauty as a whole at Target for luxury-level performance, but specifically zeroes in on this SPF-boosted skin tint from Makeup Revolution. "It's infused with skincare and antioxidants, but most of all, it gives this sheer, even glow to your skin for $17," he gushes. "People are already comparing it to Fenty's and Laura Mercier's skin tints."

For another lip stain option, experts recommend Milani's Color Fetish tubes for their semi-matte formula, hydrating formula, and long-lasting power that offers up to eight hours of no-budge color. Its plush doe foot applicator extends into an angular point that makes it easy to sketch precise lines and a defined cupid's bow before filling in the rest of the lips, each stroke providing lush hydration thanks to its hyaluronic acid and squalane-infused formula.

Speaking of no-budge lip colors, Spickard advocates for the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick when it comes to standout drugstore formulas. "Long-wear lipsticks from Maybelline outlast and outwear any luxury brand," he states. The bulletproof formula—which offers up to 16 hours of wear, high pigmentation, and resistance to water, sweat, smudging, and eating—is surprisingly comfortable despite its high-quality performance. Plus, it comes in more than 30 shades. What more can you want?

Another product that Scibelli says can compete with bigger names is this juicy, hydrating blush stick from Neutrogena. "It's a buildable, creamy blush stick that goes on super smooth and is infused with mango butter," he describes. "The color range is really beautiful, offering shades from mauves to peachy tones to deeper berry tones. This is certainly one of the best cream blush formulations that I've tested from a drugstore," he adds.

Though our experts love the NYX Slim Pencil, there's another lip liner that made its way out of our expert polls and onto this page. The Maybelline Lifter Liner is a matte, contouring lip pencil that offers your pout a plumper, more cushiony appearance with every swipe. Its formula is designed to be long-lasting with hours of wear while hydrating the lips with hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil, which gives the cream tip a luxurious glide.

I'm already planning on wearing this to every concert I have on the schedule for this year.

This Urban Decay favorite is a must-have for creating Y2K-inspired, frosted makeup looks. It offers maximum sparkle with buildable intensity and a long-lasting wet-finish look that can be applied with a finger or brush. "[It] works well for frosted eyes because it creates that sparkling, icy dimension while staying lightweight on the lid," shares Briceno.

TikTok introduced me to L'Oréal's collection of frosted lipsticks, and I couldn't be more obsessed with the shimmering effect they deliver. While I don't believe this specific viral shade complements by deep skin tone, I love how it looks on others. Its luxurious, creamy formula stands out to me as well since it features ingredients like vitamin E and argan oil to support skin health.

Briceno's go-to lipgloss by Mineral Fusion brings the shine and shimmer using a nourishing, nonsticky formula infused with nourishing vitamin E to help lock in moisture. "A gloss like this works perfectly for a modern frosted lip because the shimmer is suspended in a translucent base," says Briceno. "It gives that reflective Y2K shine while still allowing the natural lip color to show through."

Eadem's viral Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm is a three-in-one treatment that gently exfoliates lips while offering the moisture of an intense lip balm and leaving lips with with a gorgeous gloss. Now available in eight versatile shades (including Château Rose, a pearlescent pink), its hibiscus enzymes soften lip lines and buff away dryness, while lactic acid boost collagen and pyrvic acid brightens.

According to Briceno, using a neutral lip pencil like, Make Up For Ever's Artist Pencil in Wherever Walnut, under a frosted gloss can help anchor a Y2K-inspired frosted makeup look. "It gives the lips shape and prevents the frost from looking flat or overly pale," says Briceno. This best-selling lip liner shapes and enhances lips with a creamy, soft-matte texture that feels weightless on the lips and blends like a dream without feathering.

This best-selling shimmer spray preps, sets, and illuminates your makeup while refreshing the skin for a radiant finish. Hourglass' new liquid highlighter uses a serum-like, weightless texture to hydrate, lift, and firm the skin while providing all-day glow. Its feather-light formula is infused with the brand's skin-living Unreal Lifting Complex to support skin barrier health, as well as upcycled white lupin seed extract and hyaluronic acid to firm and hydrate overtime.

The first new Rhode Pocket Blush shade is Teacup, and it's a raspberry pink that has the same smooth, buttery formula as all the others.

Next up, let me introduce you to Candy Apple, a warm red. Unlike the other shades, this one has a tiny touch of gold and red pearls that give the skin a subtle sheen.

I thought I knew glitter eye shadow. Then I met MAC Cosmetics' Dazzleshadow in Crushed Diamonds. If you looked at this stark-white highlighter and immediately counted yourself out, you'd be sorely mistaken.
