The verdict is in: If you’ve been on the fence about fall’s trends and haven’t done a closet overhaul yet, then you’ve been found guilty. You’re being charged with not embracing fall’s leading looks for fear of ending up on a fashion faux pas list. But before you plead your case, take a cue from It girls Helena of Brooklyn Blonde, Chriselle of The Chriselle Factor, and Christine of Hello Fashion as they prove with their outfits from Saks Fifth Avenue that anyone—as long as she adds her own personal touch—can wear the season’s top trends in real life.

Helena of Brooklyn Blonde considers herself a coat connoisseur and is particularly drawn to the dramatic and glamorous oversize shawls and capes this season.
“In order to balance out the slightly dramatic shape for a daytime look, I paired my coat with distressed denim and white pumps,” explains Helena.
What’s Chriselle of The Chriselle Factor’s go-to look for fall? The Chelsea girl, because she perfectly mixes effortless downtown cool and put-together charm.
“The perfect formula for giving a node to the ’60s is by styling a suede skirt and camel blazer and topping it off with a scarf tied around your neck,” says Chriselle.
Every girl should own a classic nude heel in addition to a pair that takes a basic neutral pump to the next level—at least that’s what Christine of Hello Fashion thinks.
“Start with even the most basic outfit, and these heels will make a statement on their own,” explains Christine. “They instantly give any look a more interesting vibe, and if you really want to show off the most detail, opt for a cropped trouser or skinny jeans.”
