Emily Ratajkowski just might be the bikini queen of Instagram. For starters, she’s mastered the art of the mother-daughter swimsuit shot, the FOMO-inducing vacation Insta, and the perfect bikini Boomerang. Now she’s set her swimsuit sights beyond Instagram, starring in the new campaign for Australian brand Amore + Sorvete. (Can you believe it’s actually her first-ever swimsuit campaign? But we can't say we didn’t see it coming.)
To get the scoop on her new partnership, we went straight to Ratajkowski herself. We chatted with the model-slash-actress about all things swimsuits, including her best shopping tips, her favorite summer trend (one we’ve been spotting everywhere as of late), and the one silhouette she says she could live in all year long. Read on for our interview with Ratajkowski and you’ll be well on your way to swimsuit fame yourself.

WHO WHAT WEAR: Why did you decide to partner with Amore + Sorvete?
EMILY RATAJKOWSKI: Amore + Sorvete’s fit and style are what makes the brand unique. The swimsuits are flattering and make you feel confident and secure. I wore Amore + Sorvete during a Sports Illustrated photo shoot, and I’ve been a fan ever since.
WWW: What are your best tips on how women can feel confident in a swimsuit?
ER: It’s important to feel confident in your everyday life in order to feel comfortable in a swimsuit. My advice is to find suits that fit your body type and feel snug, so you’re not worried about slippage. I want a suit that I can be active in, not just look cute in while I’m lounging.
WWW: What’s your favorite swimsuit trend for summer?
ER: I am loving the ’80s high-cut bottoms. They make your legs look extra-long and lean.
WWW: If you could only own one swimsuit style (in one color), what would it be and why?
ER: I love the Amore + Sorvete Hula Hula Bikini in Bolero. The Brazilian cheeky bottoms really flatter your butt.
WWW: What’s your go-to swimsuit style if you’re doing something active, like swimming in the ocean? Why is it suitable for lots of movement?
ER: Amore + Sorvete swimsuits offer quality and style, but they also hold you in. You will never find yourself having to adjust your suit, whether you are surfing, playing beach volleyball, or just laying at a pool. The Hula Hula bralette top is not only supportive but actually cute!
