Edun Is Collaborating With African Artists for a Special Photo Series

Edun’s designs might be created under the artistic direction of Californian Danielle Sherman, but the brand's collections are all produced in Africa—primarily in South Africa. The country’s influence has extended to Edun's latest project, which consists of photos showcasing talented young artists throughout South Africa as they uniquely interpret the spring 2016 collection.

The first series release is from South African artist and photographer Nico Krijno who shared, “I have been working on sculptural still lifes and tableaux around the new Edun collection. I explored its color palette and materiality, creating new structures.”

Seven images represent part one of Edun’s spring photo series shot in Capetown. They feature both black-and-white imagery and color. Keep scrolling to view the photos, then shop the latest collection from Edun.
