Our Editors Can't Get Enough of This Denim Shirt

There’s nothing like a great closet staple that works year-round and can be worn different ways to fit any personal style. This denim shirt from Equipment fits the bill to a T, so it’s no wonder it’s on our editors’ radar.

The military style boasts two front pockets and epaulets for a more structured feel. As mentioned earlier, it can be worn a multitude of ways, but our first preference is just like the lookbook inspiration—with black flared jeans for a classic, easy look. Another styling idea is to layer the shirt, unbuttoned, over your favorite floral-print dress and complete the look with suede ankle boots. Or, for a more polished outfit, try tucking the shirt into a pleated black leather skirt and topping things off with a chain-strap mini bag and lace-up sandals.
