Instagram has a storied past with censoring celebs. The photo-sharing app unforgettably engaged in a (losing) battle with Rihanna after the pop star posted a semi-nude photo of herself—after which she left the social media platform entirely, returning several months later. And now, Instagram is picking a fight with Chrissy Teigen.
Teigen posted a topless photo of herself, which appears in this W magazine spread—and Instagram swiftly deleted her post (but not before someone captured a screenshot, shown above). With 2.5 million followers on the social media platform, Teigen is hardly a small fish in a big pond, so we're a bit surprised Instagram would attempt to censor her—even if she is showing a little harmless nudity.
