“There is nothing more valuable to a stylist than having a tailor you can trust. Not only can they completely transform gowns for the red carpet, but they can also make $30 pants look designer just by tweaking the fit. Your tailor can hem last year’s wide legs into this year’s culottes, or turn that maxi dress that’s gathering dust in your closet into the midi dress of your dreams!”

“The thing we do with celebrities that I think everyone should do is, once or twice a year, set aside a few hours and spend it in your closet. Try on new outfit combinations. Try on things you haven't worn in a while and see if you still like them. Get rid of things you don't wear, but also take photos of the outfits you like—it will save you so much time to have this as a reference. It will also help with shopping because you’ll know exactly what you need for the season… so you don't end up buying that seventh pair of black pants next time you go shopping”

“You need the proper foundations and there are no ifs about it. You should have a secret stash of well fitting bras in nude and black, high waisted shaper breifs, Spanx and slips. Clothes fit better with the right undergarments.”
