Meet the Latest Parisian to Join the Ranks of Chanel Muses
There's something about French women that is so naturally effortless. We aren't alone in our sentiments—even the fashion elite is continually inspired by their certain je ne sais quoi. Need proof? Karl Lagerfeld's latest muse is none other than French style icon Caroline de Maigret, who was announced as Chanel's newest spokesperson and ambassadress following the label's couture show. Of course, this is not Maigret's first experience with the fashion house; in addition to posing for the label when she was a young model, she returned to the scene when she was invited by Lagerfeld himself to walk in Chanel's 2011 St. Tropez resort show at age 36. She also has been a music producer, created a documentary, and co-authored a book, How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are. Her years of experience and many talents certainly bring a lot to the table, and we can't wait to see how she embraces this new role.
