In honour of Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power’s new book, The Career Code: Must-Know Rules for a Strategic, Stylish, and Self-Made Career ($22), we’re kicking off an interview series featuring 17 questions (in honour of the book’s 17 chapters) about the work lives of the most inspirational female leaders in the fashion industry. So far, we’ve tapped Pip Edwards, Rebecca Minkoff, Sally Singer, Rachel Zoe, and more. Up next? Jewellery designer Lucy Folk.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of being aquainted with Australian jewellery and accessories brand Lucy Folk, let us introduce you. Founder and creative director Lucy Folk has made a name for herself with “signature interpretations of her favourite things”, combining her love for food, art, travel, fashion, and design to create wearable pieces of art. Folk’s pieces are instantly recognisable—chances are you’ve seen her signature box clutch all over Instagram, or you’ve lusted after a pair of her statement earrings.
Since opening her second store late last year in Sydney’s Bondi Beach, Folk has continued to shine and grow, and we’re so excited to see where the brand goes next.
To celebrate its success so far, we caught up with Lucy Folk for our latest edition of Career Code. Keep scrolling!
