New York Fashion Week is the epicenter of the latest goings-on in everything fashion. We get our first taste of forthcoming trends and see the newest pieces presented by designers for the very first time. Yet as we move forward into the next season and preview the collections meant for six months from now, we also bear witness to the sartorial predictions no longer determined by show seasons.
Over the weekend, Candice Swanepoel stepped out at New York Fashion Week—after walking the runway for Alexander Wang—wearing a getup that can only be described as 100% '90s. From her shoes to her accessories, every piece in the ensemble recalled the earlier era. Her spaghetti-strap floral mini-dress was wrapped at the waist with a black sweater, and her black Dr. Marten's combat boots drove the look home. As final touches, the Victoria's Secret model sported oversize hoop earrings and a gold cross necklace.

In addition to combat boots, these are the shoe trends everyone will wear this fall.
