Bulgari has officially reopened its Castlereagh Street, Sydney boutique after 11 months of transformation. Designed by the iconic American architect Peter Marino, credited with some of the world’s most luxe storefronts. As if the news wasn’t exciting enough, to coincide with the boutique launch, the brand’s Creative Director, Lucia Silvestri has designed a limited edition capsule collection inspired by Australian icons. And when we say “limited edition” we mean very limited.
In fact, the Diva’s Dream Eleganza necklace, which was designed with the Sydney Opera House in mind is completely one-of a-kind with the price available only upon application. In addition to the necklace, a collection of ten leather handbags will be available in a Bondi-inspired blue leather and featuring the brand’s signature Serpenti symbol, which carries with it a powerful connotation for Bulgari.

According to the brand, “An animal that is powerful, mysterious, and unexpected, the snake naturally became the spirit animal for Bulgari and for the seductive woman who wears Bulgari.” And thus, it has been adorning the brand’s most iconic designs since the mid-twentieth century.
In combining this closely held motif with inspiration from some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, the brand has created a capsule collection that truly encapsulates the spirit of both the brand and the country in a celebration of the new boutique launch. If the Serpenti handbags are any indication, we can expect many more beautiful things come September. Until then, keep scrolling for an exclusive first look at a handbag from the limited edition collection.
We don't know about you, but we're already daydreaming about this special handbag.
