This year we’ve seen the rise of the “naked” dress. A daring style beloved by celebs on the red carpet, it’s not quite as practical to pull off IRL. But if you’ve been wanting to try the tricky style, Brock Collection debuted the most feminine way to pull off a naked dress in its Spring/Summer 2018 collection this week at New York Fashion Week. Known for its romantic and feminine designs, its version of the “naked” dress checks each of those boxes. The collection included a few styles. One, a floor-sweeping sheer black lace gown with a floral slip layered underneath—a cool trick for making the style work off the runway. And the finale look takes the “naked” dress a step further. The only thing under this version is a pair of high-waisted briefs. Still, it’s the ultimate feminine take on the daring style.
Another standout silhouette: romantic puffy sleeve tops finished with lace trim. We have a feeling every fashion girl will own one in the next six months. Take a styling note from the show, and wear it with one sleeve pushed over your arm. We’re predicting this will be next season’s answer to the off-the-shoulder trend we’ve seen for a few seasons now.
