It Girls Stay at These Dreamy Hotels During Paris Fashion Week

Twice a year, the pitter-patter of designer shoes descends upon the cobblestoned streets of Paris. Editors, designers, models, and more all fly in to see the latest offerings in haute couture. While the rest of us observe from afar—on editors' Instagram accounts and on fashion websites—we can't help but admire the glamour, pomp, and circumstance that make up Paris Fashion Week.

As we watch yet another runway show on an Instagram story or obsessively tap on Instagram geotags to see where fashion insiders are eating this year, there's one other question on everyone's lips: Where are all these people staying? Part of it is due to sheer curiosity, and the other half of us is taking mental notes for our next Parisian stay.

If you, too, are curious to know where all these insiders stay during fashion week, we did some of the groundwork already. These are the hottest and best Paris hotels around the hub of Paris Fashion Week. Get ready to stalk the geotags—we bet you'll recognize a few famous faces.

For the Cool Kids: The Hoxton

One of the coolest hotel chains in Europe, The Hoxton is slowly making its way into the North American market. But while you're in Paris, it's worth checking out this Soho House–style hotel with its grand staircases and jewel-tone velvet upholstery. And if you're not staying there, the hotel's restaurant, Rivié, is worth the detour.

For the Alumni: Plaza Athénée

This iconic luxury Paris hotel has been the base camp of fashion week for years—just a stone's throw away from the Jardin des Tuileries. The steep prices at the Plaza Athénée are not for everyone, but the leafy courtyard with its signature red awnings is worth the detour alone.

For the Elite: Le Ritz

This legendary hotel right on Place Vendôme recently underwent a meticulously executed renovation—keeping all the luxe and charm of yesterday while giving in a fresh new look. Le Ritz is now officially the hottest fashion week property. The Suite Coco Chanel alone speaks to the hotel's fashion heritage.

For the Creatives: Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers

This ultra-stylish new hotel, housed in a Haussmann building in the Haut-Marais, literally translates as "the hotel of the arts and crafts"—so it's not surprising that it's a hot spot for creatives. The moody lounge and cozy rooftop terrace at the Hôtel des Arts et Métiers give guests plenty of space to roam and creative—and the interiors are no short of inspiration.

For the Avant-Garde: Hôtel des Grands Boulevards

One of the latest hotels to stem from the highly sought-after and creative Experimental Group (of Hotel Henrietta fame) is the Grands Boulevards Hotel, located in the upcoming neighborhood of the same name. True to style, it boasts art nouveau accents and trendy minimal accessories that we've come to love from the other properties.

For the Discerning Eyes: Hôtel Vernet

Hôtel Vernet isn't quite as luxurious at the George V, but it's certainly five-star and boasts a more striking modern style than the other grands hôtels in Paris. With dramatic graphic bathrooms and an impressive Haussmannian architecture, it's one of the French capital's most high-style hotels.

For the Fans: Hôtel Bienvenue

Hôtel Bienvenue is Paris's newest most adorable boutique hotel. A little further away from the fashion week action, the serene courtyard is a respite from the city's hustle and bustle. Inside, the design is a beautiful influence of art deco modernized for today's taste. To top it all off, the friendly prices ensure that you'll feel extremely welcome.
