As fashion editors, trying on clothes is one of the perks of our job. Before we write about a new trend or It buy, we'll often take the time to test-drive the item ourselves before we report on it. At Who What Wear, we are all low-key obsessed with denim and have certainly tried on our fair share of jeans. After all, they are the wardrobe staple that works for literally every occasion and goes with everything. That said, not all jeans are created equal, and after trying on hundreds of pairs, we have a few favorites that we wear on repeat. I am envious of my colleagues' denim collections and often ask where they got certain pairs that are especially flattering, so I decided to ask my co-workers where their favorite jeans come from and test-drive a few new pairs for myself.

Finding the perfect pair of jeans can be a daunting task. With so many different styles, cuts, and washes to choose from, it's easy to get overwhelmed. We've done the hard work for you and tested out a wide range of jeans to find the ones that we truly love, from the slim-fit jeans that replaced our skinnies to the extremely popular wide-leg styles that are bound to sell out to a pair that doubles as cargo pants. If you're in the market for a new pair of jeans, look no further. But first, allow me to share the top six pairs in my collection…

This is a pair of jeans that I've owned for months, and they've become my go-to when I want to look like the coolest person I know. It's rare to find jeans that are trendy, under $100, and comfortable. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have our winner.

My co-workers rave about Agolde, but I used to only own one pair of jeans from the brand. A lot of straight-leg styles turn me off, but I quickly fell in love with this loose-fit rendition. They have that worn-in vintage feel that I'm all over, and the fabric is lightweight and breezy, making them the perfect summer jeans.

When I tell you I couldn't take these off after putting them on, I'm not exaggerating. This might sound crazy, but I felt like I was wearing pajama pants. The fabric was soft as skin, and I've never been asked, "Where did you get your jeans from?" more in my entire life. This European brand feels like a fashion-person secret, and I'm spilling the tea.

If you like a comfortable waistband on your jeans, then you're in for a big treat. These jeans were designed to fit your body perfectly, and I finally understand what all of the Good American hype is about. Definitely added them to my cart.

Here's another pair of jeans that I often get questions about, the Harper. I say the name with adoration because I think these jeans have the most polished wide-leg fit I've ever seen. Every item in my closet gets taken to the next level when I add these jeans to my look. They tend to sit at the top of my denim drawer because I love them that much.

Cargo pants, meet denim. Still Here is a brand that's new to my collection, and if you want something that feels unique, I highly suggest checking out its pieces. This style just might be my new favorite pair of low-rise jeans.

"Khaite's Danielle jeans are even better than the hype—the fit is perfect, and they have the most incredible leg-lengthening effect. They're so good that I've already invested in three shades of this exact denim style." — Kristen Nichols, Associate Director of Special Projects

"I'm not kidding when I say these might be the best jeans ever. They're the perfect amount of relaxed without veering into baggy territory and honestly rival any vintage pair you could find. I wear them at least once a week and always get so many compliments on the fit." — Anna LaPlaca, Editor

"I'll be honest: There are a few denim brands I wear on repeat, but I do love the variety at Madewell. My favorite pair of straight-leg jeans offers just the right amount of stretch (not too much, not too little) and comes in a great wash." — Bobby Schuessler, Market Director

"Slvrlake London jeans are legitimately the most comfortable 100% cotton jeans I've found (and I've tried many). They're on the pricey side, but I often find them on sale. They're just a classic pair of straight-leg jeans that'll never go out of style." — Allyson Payer, Senior Editor

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor.
