The end of the year always calls for a healthy dose of reflection, a task that's not as grim as it sounds. Au contraire, dear readers, after you take stock of what occurred during the previous twelve months, you can put it all to bed and set a brilliant new agenda. Hooray! And while this wonderful process may be applied to a smorgasbord of social/professional/personal arenas-most of which we wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole-at Who What Wear, we're focusing our retrospective on what we know best: fashion, of course! With that in mind, we'd like to take this moment to mull over some of the year's top trends, key looks, and the stellar stylesetters who made the year a thrilling ride! From custom-made tuxedo suits to neon pink gowns to tremendous street-style looks, 2010 has been rife with killer outfits that truly inspire. Accordingly, we only found it fitting to gather together the leading ladies who donned such winning ensembles and pay rightful homage to their unparalleled sartorial sensibilities. Thus, without further ado, we're pleased to present 2010's Best Dressed winners and hope you delight in this lovely trip down memory lane!

Best Import: Cleménce Poésy
Here at Who What Wear, we always love an import with a certain je ne sais quoi, and Cleménce Poésy is truly a parfait example of said femme. Her effortlessly cool style has such French girl panache, and we know we can always count on the Gallic starlet for a flawless example of how to step out in a circle skirt-a silhouette she is able to parlay with enviably posh simplicity for both daytime and red-carpet worthy looks. Additionally, we could never forget that this year saw Poésy famously join Blake Lively and Leighton Meester as a guest star on Gossip Girl, aka The Greatest Show on Television. If that theatrical turn was any indication of what's to come from this Parisian import, we look forward to the coming year!

MVP: Nicole Richie
Everyone knows that Nicole Richie-who is an author/designer/actress/newlywed extraordinaire-certainly has a way with clothes. Arguably the master creator of the kimono dress trend, Nicole Richie can always be counted upon for her glamorous vintage-inspired sensibility, which she also seamlessly translates into her Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960 lines. Additionally, who could forget that 2010 saw her A) rock the beauty world with a stellar platinum bob and B) become Who What Wear's first ever celebrity Guest Editor, aptly selecting fall items we couldn't live without!

Fashion-Industry Favorite: Georgia Jagger
Georgia Jagger is clearly having a moment-in fact, her moment's been going on for quite some time! The sexy, gap-toothed blonde and last year's recipient of the British Fashion Awards Model of the Year award spent 2010 lending her curvy looks to a bevy of high-profile editorials, graced the covers of countless top mastheads like Harper's Bazaar and Australian Vogue, and caught the eye of Karl. Yes, that's right: the va-va-voom, Bardot lookalike is currently the face of Chanel's Resort 11 campaign after being handpicked by Lagerfeld for her ability to represent the modern girl. As if all that wasn't enough, Jagger's top-notch ensembles simultaneously flaunt her drool-worthy figure while paying homage to her rock-royalty background (think: faux furs, leopard accents, and signature sultry red lips). No wonder we're still flipping for her one-of-kind panache!

Reader's Choice: Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung truly has her style profile nailed. The hip-Brit's ever-quirky mix of au courant schoolgirl staples and key pieces from cult labels like Isabel Marant, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Russell & Bromley consistently makes her a reader favorite and one to watch. This year saw the release of her Alexa Chung for Madewell line, which was filled with funky sketchbook tees, prim dresses, and across-the-pond worthy coats-all of which sold out in a blink of an eye. And let's not forget her daring and prescient selection of 3.1 Phillip Lim's tuxedo jacket and suspender trousers to attend the Met Gala early this year! Whether she's pairing a cozy sweater with leather shorts or mixing vintage in with some covetable Chanel clogs, this leggy fashion lover is truly beloved by all for her singular, off-beat flair.

Most Fashionable Fixture: Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller always wins us over with her bohemian-chic charisma-we know we can count on her to routinely inspire our music-fest best-yet, this year she's subtly upgraded her personal aesthetic. Still playing up her strengths with hippie-esque accents such as woven jewelry or a brightly colored hobo sac, the Twenty8Twelve designer has also started gravitating toward more polished pieces like fitted blazers and structured ladylike bags. Accordingly, since she has deftly displayed a knack for evolving while still staying true to the style profile from whence she came, we voted her most fashionable fixture and look to her as one of the year's icons, prepared to stand the test of time.

Best Fashion Pro: Rachel Zoe
As a top tier, in-demand stylist, we can always count on Zoe to create a slew of killer red-carpet ensembles for her celebrity clientele. But this behind-the-scenes maven and reality TV star clearly has her own look down to an RZ. Whether she's fearlessly dictating the trends in a ladylike maxi dress, stepping out in a signature fur, or piling on the vintage (Chanel) baubles, Zoe always looks amahzing!

Risktaker Extraordinaire: Rihanna
Holding fast to her title for a second year in a row, Rihanna never fails to excite us with her dramatic sartorial flair. While the flame-haired songstress has turned the volume down on her more aggressive, tough-girl looks as of late-making room for a chorus of ladylike and chic layered ensembles-she continues to step out in envelope-pushing style, like the high-contrast zigzag trousers and Balenciaga flats outfit we spotted her in last spring. Additionally, we admire the fact that Rihanna never shies away from radical beauty looks, and her bravery encourages us to take more risks and have fun with fashion!

Best All-Around Style: Kate Bosworth
Fact: Kate Bosworth never looks bad. At this point we can safely say she has reached fashion icon status. Such compliments are in part due to Cher Coulter, her A-list stylist, to whom she presented the Stylist of the Year award just a few weeks ago, but Bosworth knows a trick or two too. Whether she's running around town in Celine flats or making a red-carpet statement in a fabulous frock from an emerging designer, Bosworth's sartorial choices are always interesting, keenly on-trend, and have you, dear readers, endlessly celebrating her personal style. And if that wasn't in enough, this year saw her teaming up with the aforementioned Coulter to launch JewelMint, a jewelry site composed of exclusive pieces designed by the dynamic duo. Just consider it another notch on this silver-screen star's belt!

Best High-Low Mix: Olivia Palermo
It would be sartorial sacrilege if we did not include Miss Palermo in today's roundup! The master of high-street-meets-designer dressing is consistently a reader favorite, and often provides further outfit intrigue by bringing lesser-known brands into the limelight. From editor-worthy ensembles marked by metallic accents or a belted silhouette to polished off-duty wear punctuated by Stubbs & Wootton flats, this brunette beauty always balances timeless looks with cutting-edge trends. Plus, we can't help but admire the accessibility of Palermo's impeccable wardrobe and her trendsetting crossover to the dark side as this year saw her eschew her long, golden locks and adopt a chestnut, shoulder-skimming coif instead.

Most Muse-Worthy: Diane Krueger
Whenever we need inspiration for a fancy-dressing affair, we know we can turn to the Kruger-meister. The perennially-elegant half of one of our favorite stylish couples, the stunning star always declares her red-carpet presence with lust-worthy dresses that make us wish for a peek inside her assumed-to-be-immaculate closet! Whether she's making a striking statement in a neon pink Jason Wu gown at the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival (we love a Wu-ger collaboration!) or looking enviably chic in a fancy frock and lace-up booties, Krueger's impeccable taste routinely entices us to get gussied up.-Liza Kaplan
