The Balmain show is always one of our favourites during fashion month. We're guaranteed high glamour, an A-list front row, and a stellar model lineup. Today's S/S 17 presentation at Paris Fashion Week, was no different. Designer Olivier Rousteing had one of the most impressive model lineups we've seen so far, with all our favourite supermodels taking to the runway. Gigi Hadid, Doutzen Kroes, Jourdan Dunn, and Natasha Poly were all part of the #BalmainArmy, but there was one regular face that was noticeably missing—Kendall Jenner. Vogue speculated that the supermodel is taking a backseat for this season's round of shows in order to create more hype and demand, which would explain why we haven't seen Jenner since New York Fashion Week.
Now enough about models, and onto the collection. It was as opulent and detailed as we'd hoped. Rousteing never disappoints—the designers heavily embellished pieces were a standout, along with the jaw-dropping emerald green python print trench we can only imagine Kim Kardashian will be first in line to wear.
